All Premier League Teams Predicted GW15 Lineups
Arsenal
In positive news, Saka returned to full training ahead of their Europa league game and looks like will be fit to play against Chelsea. Zinchenko and Elneny have also returned to full training which gives Artera plenty of options. Tomiyasu was injured in the Europa league game this could mean Tierney could start over him.
Last week’s success rate: 11/11 (We predicted 11 starters correctly last week)
Arsenal GW15 Predicted formation:
- 4-3-3
Arsenal GW15 Predicted lineup:
Ramsdale
White – Saliba – Gabriel – Tierney
Xhaka – Partey – Odegaard
Saka – Jesus – Martinelli
Arsenal injury Update(03/11/22)
Saka and Zinchenko were on the bench against Zurich in the Europa league. Tomiyasu however was injured in the Europa league game.
Mikel Arteta on Tomiyasu’s injury: “Obviously he felt something & we didn’t want to take any risks. With the amount of games we are playing, it’s part of [it]. It can happen in training, it can happen in games & unfortunately it happened to Tomi.”
Aston Villa
The Villa team that faced Newcastle was unchanged from that which beat Brentford 4-0 in GW13. However, the result was vastly different. As such, Emery may opt to bring back one of McGinn or Ramsey for his first game in charge.
Now that Digne is fit again, he could come back in at left-back.
Last week’s success rate: 10/11 (We predicted 10 starters correctly last week)
Aston Villa GW15 Predicted Formation
- 4-2-3-1
Aston Villa GW15 Predicted Lineup:
Martinez
Cash – Mings – Konsa – Digne
McGinn – Douglas Luiz
Buendia
Watkins – Ings – Bailey
Aston Villa injury News/PC Update(04/11/22)
Unai Emery has confirmed both Ludwig Augustinsson and Boubacar Kamara are back in contention to return to Aston Villa’s squad against Manchester United on Sunday.
Elsewhere, Emi Martinez has been given the all-clear to start in goal once again after suffering from concussion following a collision with Tyrone Mings last weekend at Newcastle.
Bournemouth
In a surprise change, Kieffer Moore came in for Christie and he more than justified his selection with a brace. As such, he could well retain his place.
Despite making a costly error, Travers should stay in goal whilst Neto is still out.
Last week’s success rate: 10/11 (We predicted 10 starters correctly last week)
Bournemouth GW15 Predicted formation
- 3-5-2
Bournemouth GW15 Predicted lineup:
Mark Travers
Smith- Mepham – Sensei
Tavernier – Cook – Lerma – Billing – Zemura
Moore – Solanke
Bournemouth PC/Injury Update(04/11/22)
“He’s been fine since, so we’re delighted that we managed to get him through the game.
“He’s trained well again this week, so Dom is in a good place.”
Gary O’Neil says Neto won’t make a return for the Cherries before the World Cup.
“I think it comes too quick for Lloyd Kelly and too quickly for David Brooks. Lloyd is making big strides, the World Cup break might come too soon for him but we’ll have to see on that one.
“I don’t know if we’ll see David Brooks before that break.
“Neto will miss out on this one and won’t play again before the World Cup.”
Brighton
De Zerbi’s first win in charge came in an emphatic manner so it’s unlikely that he’ll make too many changes. Welbeck missed out with illness so Mitoma came in and impressed so he may stay on the side.
Last week’s success rate: 9/11 (We predicted 9 starters correctly last week)
Brighton GW15 Predicted formation
- 3-4-2-1
Brighton GW15 Predicted lineup:
Sanchez
March – Webster – Dunk – Estupinan
MacAllister – Caicedo – Gross
Lallana – Mitoma
Trossard
Brighton Injury/PC Updates(04/11/22)
Roberto De Zerbi said, “Danny Welbeck is good, I don’t know if he starts because the team that started against Chelsea did well.
“Joel Veltman could be ready to play, we still have to decide whether he’s ready.”
Brentford
Mee came back in for Brentford at the weekend and they were far better for it. Toney picked up his fifth yellow of the season meaning he’ll be suspended for Forest at the weekend. As such, LewisPotter may come into the side.
Last week’s success rate: 10/11 (We predicted 10 starters correctly last week)
Brentford GW15 Predicted formation:
- 4-3-3
Brentford GW15 Predicted lineup:
Raya
Ajer – Pinnock – Mee – Henry
Janlet – Jensen – Onyeka
Mbeumo – Wissa – Lewis Potter
Brentford PC/Injury Updates(03/11/22)
Brentford FC will assess Christian Norgaard ahead of their match against Nottingham Forest on Saturday. Norgaard has been ruled out with an Achilles injury since August but is “progressing well.”
Mathias Jensen has recovered from the dead leg he suffered against Wolves and will be available for Brentford FC against Nottingham Forest this weekend.
Aaron Hickey (ankle), Pontus Jansson (hamstring) and Thomas Strakosha (ankle) are still expected to be ruled out until after the World Cup.
Chelsea
Another week, another time of heavy rotation from Graham Potter. It’s anyone’s guess as to what the team will be against Arsenal, but you’d suspect that we may see conventional wingbacks rather than inverted wingers as was the case against Brighton. Aubameyang should also come back in after being benched for this one.
Chilwell suffered a hamstring injury in the UCL game and is definitely out for GW15 with his WC hopes in danger. Kepa is also out which means Mendy comes in for Chelsea.
Last week’s success rate: 7/11 (We predicted 7 starters correctly last week)
Chelsea GW15 Predicted formation:
- 3-4-1-2
Chelsea GW15 Predicted lineup:
Mendy
Chalobah – Thiago Silva – Koulibaily
Loftus Cheek – Jorginho – Kovacic – Cucurella
Mount
Sterling – Aubameyang
Chelsea PC/Injury Updates(04/11/22)
‘Ben is going to go for a scan later this afternoon so we will find out how he is then with an update tomorrow,’ Potter added on the press conference
Potter confirmed Kepa Arrizabalaga will not play before the World Cup due to the plantar fascia injury he has in the bottom of one of his feet.
There is better news on Mateo Kovacic who was not involved midweek as a precaution against a minor calf concern, although Carney Chukwuemeka remains out.
‘Kovacic trained today so he’ll be in contention. Carney still has a slight issue with his hamstring that we’re getting to the bottom of.’
Crystal Palace
After picking up a knock, Doucoure missed the Southampton clash and was reported to have trained only on Friday according to Vieira who also added Edouard has also been having some fitness issues and trained with the team only on Friday as well. The game is only on Sunday which might mean Doucoure and Edouard should be ready. Given West Ham is a more difficult fixture, Ayew may play instead of Olise.
Last week’s success rate: 10/11 (We predicted 10 starters correctly last week)
Crystal Palace GW15 Predicted Formation
- 4-3-3
Crystal Palace GW15 Predicted lineup:
Guaita
Ward – Guehi – Andersen – Mitchell
Schulpp – Eze – Doucoure
Ayew– Edouard – Zaha
Crystal Palace PC/Injury Updates(04/11/22)
Patrick Vieira confirmed that Odsonne Edouard and Cheick Doucouré trained on Friday afternoon, and that the pair require further assessment before Crystal Palace face West Ham United.
“Edouard will do a little bit more training with the team tomorrow [Saturday] and we’ll make a decision after training.
“Cheick started his first training session with the team today [Friday] so we’ll wait for tomorrow to see the reaction. It’s best to wait and see how they feel tomorrow after the work they did today.”
Everton
Lampard remains very easy to predict, as he once more went in unchanged. We can expect almost a similar 11 for Leicester at the weekend with the only possible change could be Patteson in for Coleman. The Scottish full-back is back from injury and was a substitute against Fulham.
Last week’s success rate: 11/11 (We predicted 11 starters correctly last week)
Everton GW15 Predicted formation
- 4-3-2-1
Everton GW15 Predicted lineup
Pickford
Patterson – Tarkowski – Coady – Mykolenko
Onana – Iwobi – Gueye
Gordon – Gray
DCL
Everton PC/Injury Update (04/11/22)
Frank Lampard has confirmed Yerry Mina and Ben Godfrey have returned to full training, while Nathan Patterson is available to start Saturday’s visit of Leicester City.
The duo’s return to training means Andros Townsend, who is in the latter stages of his recovery from an ACL injury sustained in March, is the only Men’s First-Team player currently not working with the squad.
Fulham
Slightly surprisingly, Wilson was left out for Kebano but that may have been just to manage his fitness and he may well come back in with Kebano ruled out for a long time following a injury. Dekodover Reid also picked up his fifth yellow of the season so Tete will in all likelihood come in.
Last week’s success rate: 11/11 (We predicted all 11 starters correctly last week)
Fulham GW15 Predicted formation:
- 4-2-3-1
Fulham GW15 Predicted lineup:
Leno
Tete – Ream – Diop – Robinson
Palhinha – H Reed
Wilson- Andreas – Willian
Mitrovic
Fulham Injury/PC Updates (03/11/22)
Fulham have announced that Neeskens Kebano has unfortunately suffered a ruptured Achilles in training this week. He will now undergo specialist consultation and will be out of action for several months.
“Sad, sad news for us as a football club, for us as a group, and personally for me as a manager,” Silva said. “Top, top guy, top lad, great professional, and a happy guy.
“He’s a strong character inside our dressing room, everyone loves him in this football club. I’ve been really pleased to have him these last 15 months under me. ~ Silva on Kebano
Bobby De Cordova-Reid will also miss Saturday’s trip to Manchester City having picked up his fifth booking of the season against Everton last weekend.
Layvin Kurzawa has returned to training, though, while Silva also revealed that we could see Manor Solomon back in action in January.
Leeds United
The headline news for Leeds was that of Summerville starting instead of Sinisterra. After his late winner, he should stay in. Sinisterra is also ruled out until after the world cup after suffering a foot injury.
Last week’s success rate: 10/11 (We predict 10 starters correctly last week)
Leeds United GW15 Predicted formation:
- 4-2-3-1
Leeds United GW15 Predicted lineup:
Meslier
Kristensen – Cooper – Koch – Struijik
Adams-Roca
Summerville – Aaronson – Harrison
Rodrigo
Leeds United Injury/PC Updates (03/11/22)
𝗝𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗻𝗲𝘄𝘀: “Luis Sinesterra has a foot injury, more than we originally thought. A specialist looked at it, and they worry that it could be a Lisfranc injury. Probably out until after the World Cup break.”
Leicester City
In a turn of events nobody saw coming, Soyuncu returned out of nowhere as Rogers changed shape and went with a back three. You’d assume that was an opponent-specific tactical switch so normal service should resume for Everton.
Vardy also came in for Daka but the latter may come in against Everton.
Last week’s success rate: 9/11 (We predicted 9 starters correctly last week)
Leicester City GW15 Predicted formation:
- 4-4-2
Leicester City GW15 Predicted lineup:
Ward
Justin – Faes – Amartey – Castagne
Tielemans – Ndidi – Dewsbury Hall
Maddison – Daka – Barnes
Leicester City PC/Injury News(03/11/22):
“We’ll decide on that tomorrow (Friday), whether Evans is going to be ready to have an impact, or whether it’ll be Tuesday (vs. Newport County in the Carabao Cup),” Rodgers said. “It’s been a little bit slower than we’d have hoped but he was out training with the squad today we’ll evaluate the risk on that and take it from there.
“The target time for him is going to be around January time. He’s working very hard. Mentally, he’s in a really good place. He’s had a tough, though time with long-term injuries but he’s coping very well, working very hard, and still well on schedule for coming back for the second half of the season.”
Brendan Rodgers on Ricardo Pereira
Liverpool
It was another worryingly poor performance from Liverpool against Leeds. Joe Gomez in particular had a tough time of it and Konate’s return from injury should mean that he comes back in.
Elliott also struggled so he could sit out.
Last week’s success rate: 10/11 (We predicted 10 starters correctly last week)
Liverpool GW15 Predicted formation
- 4-3-3
Liverpool GW15 Predicted lineup:
Allison
TAA – Van Dijk – Konate – Robertson
Henderson – Fabinho – Thiago
Salah – Nunez – Firmino
Liverpool Injury/PC News(04/11/22)
“So, Hendo, yes, he’s available,” Klopp told his pre-match press conference.
“He trained yesterday completely normal so should be fine. He had a little thing but serious enough to not be involved in the last game.”
On Milner, the boss said: “When you go through a concussion protocol you are not available for the next game because you have to go through different stages.
“So, he is fine but still that’s how it is [and] rightly so. We have to go to different stages and that means he is available for non-contact training on Monday and full contact training on Tuesday if everything goes well.
“Until then that’s what we expect because he was yesterday already good.”
Darwin is a real threat in the finishing situations. He is involved in everything, always an option to pass and cross to. He was involved in both goals on Tuesday, so he’s making big steps.
Klopp on Darwin Nunez
Jota, Matip, Luis Diaz, and Arthur are long-term absentees. Keita is still lacking match fitness after being out for a while.
Manchester City
It goes without saying that the main talking point surrounding City is that of whether Haaland will start against Fulham. Haaland appeared in training photos on Thursday and Pep refused to rule him out so I’m going to predict that he starts. City only have one more league game after this, before Haaland gets a month and a half off so if he’s even 90% fit, there’s every chance he starts and gets taken off early. Akanji was not training ahead of the UCL game vs Sevilla so Stones could start ahead of him.
Last week’s success rate: 9/11 correct predictions last week
Manchester City GW15 Predicted formation
- 4-3-3
Manchester City GW15 Predicted lineup:
Ederson
Stones – Dias – Laporte – Cancelo
De Bruyne- Rodri – B.Silva
Foden– Haaland– Grealish
Haaland Update on Tuesday(01/11/22)
Pep on Haaland: He’s (Haaland) much better. We will decide today. It’s a good step, he starts to train and we have training this afternoon and we will see.
Manuel Akanji is “okay” according to Pep Guardiola while both Kalvin Phillips and Kyle Walker remain out.
Pep Guardiola on Julian Alvarez potentially starting against Fulham: “He’s so young, at that age you can play every day.”
Pep Guardiola on Phil Foden not starting more often: “Him and Riyad and Grealish and Bernardo and Gundogan and De Bruyne have been on the bench. Not an issue, many players have to use them, demand the best of them, this has to happen, always has been like that…”
“No player plays because they play. In Dortmund we play to qualify first and De Bruyne doesn’t play.”
Manchester United
In Varane’s absence and Lindelof missing out due to illness, Maguire came back in for his first start since the loss to Brentford. But Lindelof returned against Real Sociedad in the Europa league game and he could keep his place.
Bruno Fernandes picked up his fifth yellow of the season so Fred will probably come into the midfield with Eriksen playing further forward.
Anthony and Sancho are doubts along with Martial which doesn’t give a lot of options for ETH in the attack. Ronaldo played mid-week too so he might be benched as well and the talented Garanacho could keep his place following a brilliant game in the Europa league game.
Last week’s success rate: 10/11 (We predicted 10 starters correctly last week)
Manchester United GW15 Predicted formation:
- 4-2-3-1
Manchester United GW15 Predicted lineup:
De Gea
Dalot – Martinez – Lindelof – Shaw
Eriksen – Casemiro
Elanga – Fred – Rashford
Ronaldo
Man United Injury Updates (02/11/22)
Newcastle United
It was yet another convincing performance from Eddie Howe’s men. The only likely change on the weekend will be a forced one, as Joelinton will be suspended. Murphy may therefore come back in. ASM and Shelvey are back but questions remain over their match sharpness.
Last week’s success rate: 10/11 (We predicted 10 starters correctly last week)
Newcastle United GW15 Predicted formation:
- 4-3-3
Newcastle United GW15 Predicted lineup:
Pope
Trippier – Botman – Schar – Burn
Longstaff – Bruno Guimares – Willock
Almiron – Wilson – Murphy
Newcastle injury/PC Updates(04/11/22)
Eddie Howe on injuries ahead of Southampton: “We have a few bumps and bruises as we always do but nothing too bad. Jonjo and Allan came through their cameos against Aston Villa OK so the strength of the group is slowly returning.”
Eddie Howe on Miguel Almirón: “We’d love him to, but we don’t expect him to be scoring from 25 yards every week! I get just as much pleasure from the second goal against Fulham, a tap-in in the six yard box. They’re the goals that you’d love our players to deliver every week.”
Eddie Howe on whether Shelvey is ready to start: “He’d probably say yes and he’s certainly getting closer. This has been his second full week of training so he’s in a better place but without that match exposure. We want to protect him and try to see him through to the break.”
Nottingham Forest
Lodi came back in against Arsenal with Williams dropping to the bench. Aside from that, there seems to be some consistency with the rest of the team now so we can expect that to persist in spite of the trouncing Arsenal gave them.
Note: Steve Cook, McKenna and Joe Worrall are all on 4 Yellow cards one away from a one-game suspension.
Last week’s success rate: 10/11 (We predicted 10 starters correctly last week)
Nottingham Forest GW15 Predicted formation:
- 4-3-3
Nottingham Forest GW15 Predicted lineup
Henderson
Aurier – Cook – McKenna – Lodi
Kouyate – Yates – Frueler
Lingard – Gibbs White – Awoniyi
Nottingham Forest PC/Injury Update(03/11/22)
“Unfortunately Giulian picked up a serious knee injury in training which will rule him out until the end of the season,” head coach Steve Cooper said in his pre-match press conference.
“It’s really difficult news for him, and a blow for us as well. I know he’s a player who hasn’t featured too much, but he’s a player who has been making good progress and who we really like.
Centre-back Moussa Niakhate and left-back Harry Toffolo were already ruled out with hamstring problems. Meanwhile, midfielder Jack Colback has recently been struggling with a back issue.
Richards, who has been sidelined since the summer, started rehabilitation work on the grass during the last international break. He is yet to link up with his teammates in training, but Cooper is hopeful he will be available shortly after the Premier League season resumes in December.
Southampton
There was one Southampton change on the weekend as Che Adams came in for Adam Armstrong. However, Armstrong could come in for the weekend with Elyounousi possibly dropping out. Lavia is back from his injury and played for the U21s to get back to match fitness, considering how crucial he is for Saints, he might come in for Diallo.
Last week’s success rate: 10/11 (We predicted 10 starters correctly last week)
Southampton GW15 Predicted formation
- 4-2-3-1
Southampton GW15 Predicted lineup:
Bazunu
Lyanco – Calita-Car – Salisu- Perraud
Lavia – Ward Prowse
Stuart Armstrong – Aribo – Adam Armstrong
Che Adams
Southampton PC/Injury Update(04/11/22)
“In contention, yes,” said the boss on Lavia’s imminent return. “But we had, this week, also a little problem with his knee.
“This happens often when you are long out, some other issues and you have to be careful. Yesterday he was not training but I think he will be part of the squad on the weekend for us. I think this is quite likely.
“[Bella-Kotchap] is also an option for the weekend. He is back in training and has trained everything and shows no fear.”
When questioned on Kyle Walker-Peter’s likelihood to feature before the international break, Hasenhüttl confirmed it is unlikely.
“It has gone from low to no [possibility]. We have one week left and he is not training with us so I don’t think so.”
Tottenham
There were a number of Tottenham changes for Bournemouth. That was in all likelihood just to rest players ahead of a crunch Champion’s League tie. It’ll probably be a more full-strength team for Liverpool though. Seeing as Sessegnon and Perisic both started in midweek, Emerson should start at right wing-back, with the more experienced Croat being favoured on the left.
Son suffered a head injury and was taken off in the 2-1 win over Marseille and is now set to undergo surgery to stabilize a fracture around his left eye which rules him out of the game against Liverpool.
With Kulusevski, Son and Richarlison we could also possibly see Perisic in a front three considering the lack of options for Spurs up top.
Note: Romero and Bentancur are also injury doubts, Romero didn’t play against both Bournemouth and Marseille.
Last week’s success rate: 7/11 (We predicted 7 starters correctly last week)
Spurs GW15 Predicted formation:
- 3-4-3
Spurs GW15 Predicted lineup:
Lloris
Lenglet – Dier – Davies
Royal – Bentancur – Bissouma – Hojbjerg – Perisic
Kane – Moura
Spurs Injury/PC Updates (04/11/22)
“Deki had half of the training session with us today. Tomorrow we’ll see. For sure, I want to speak with the player to ask if his feeling is positive. I don’t want to force him, that’s not right, but it would be very important if he gives me the availability to come on the bench, and then the possibility to play for 10, 20, 30 minutes. If you are on the bench, you are ready to help us in the game.
“Lucas is up and down with his tendon. He still has pain. Today, he told me this, and I asked him to wait and try to suffer in these last three games, and then we will try to find the best solution. For sure, we are talking about a player that is not 100 per cent. If you add all these difficulties, then you understand how we are fighting with big effort to overcome this period.”
Asked for a team news update in his pre-Liverpool press conference, Antonio said: “I can confirm Richarlison is not available for the game. It is the same for Romero, but Bentancur is much better, and today he was part of the training session. It was the same for Kulusevski, today he had a half training session with us.
West Ham
The West Ham side that faced United was probably the best on paper from the players Moyes has available at the moment, so the same can be expected against Palace.
Last week’s success rate: 10/11 (We predicted 10 starters correctly last week)
West Ham GW15 Predicted Formation
- 4-2-3-1
West Ham GW15 Predicted lineup:
Fabianski
Kehrer – Zouma – Dawson – Cresswell
Rice – Soucek – Paqueta
Bowen -Scamacca – Benrahama
West Ham PC/Injury Update(04/11/22)
“Lucas Paquetá has been training,” the boss confirmed at his pre-match press conference. “He’s probably ready to be included in the squad. Whether he’s ready to play or not I don’t know, but I certainly think he could be involved.
“We’re beginning to get some injured players back. Nayef Aguerd has played a couple of games and got 90 minutes last night as well. As everybody knows he was out for three months or so and we’re closer to getting him back.”
Wolves
The headline news for Wolves is that, after getting sent off against Brentford, Costa will be suspended until the World Cup.
Last week’s success rate: 8/11 (We predicted 8 starters correctly last week)
Wolves GW15 Predicted formation:
- 4-3-3
Wolves GW15 Predicted lineup:
Sa
Semedo – Kilman – Collins – Bueno
Neves – B Traore
Nunes
A Traore – Podence – Guedes
Wolves PC/Injury Update(04/11/22)
Nunes is being assessed. He’s the only one that is 50/50, it could go either way.
On Raul: “I’ve watched him doing the 1v1 training. He’s progressing well. It’s unfair to set a timescale on his return.”
On goals/no Costa: “We’ve tweaked things. We’re trying to get some intelligence from players in different areas. There’s options, we don’t have a Costa type, but we have to be bright and creative.” via @LiamKeen_Star
