FPL GW35 Sunday Fixtures sorted by xGI
Eddie Nketiah (5.5m, FWD) had a very encouraging performance in terms on underlying metrics with 6 shots, 2 from inside the box and a chance created for an xGI of 0.39.
Bukayo Saka (6.7m, MID) had 2 shots, both from inside the box and 2 chances created for an xGI of 0.34.
In Chelsea’s lethargic loss to Everton, Marcos Alonso (5.6m, DEF) had 1 shot from inside the box and 3 chances created for yet another good underlying performance with an xGI of 0.54.
Reece James (6.4m, DEF) played a majority of this game at right wing-back and managed 3 shots, all from outside the box and a chance created for an xGI of 0.23.
Mason Mount (7.7m, MID) had 2 shots, 1 from inside the box and 3 chances created for an xGI of 0.22.
Everton have been showing some signs of life. Anthony Gordon (4.6m, MID) had 3 shots, 1 from inside the box for an xG of 0.89.
Richarlison (7.5m, FWD) had 2 shots, both from inside the box including a big chance for an xGI of 0.81.
Harry Kane (12.4m, FWD) had 4 shots, 3 from inside the box and 2 big chances for an xGI of 0.72.
Heung-min Son (11.0, MID) had 3 shots, 2 from inside the box including a big chance and also created a big chance for an xGI of 0.64.
Man United vs Brentford
Cristiano Ronaldo, Bruno Fernandes and Varane all scored for Man United in a convincing 3-0 win. Ronaldo also had a goal ruled outside for marginally being offside. Bruno was the most involved with four attempts on goal and scored the big chance created by Elanga.
Toney and Mbeumo had decent chances but De gea made some good saves to deny the Brentford attack of a goal and ensured Man United secured a CS that has eluded them for a while.
