FPL GW33 Scout Picks/Free Hit Team:
Note: This is the Free Hit team and captaincy at the moment which is subject to change. Article will again be updated few hours before the deadline if there are any changes.
Goal Keeper: Dubravka
Very good looking Double Gameweek fixtures against Leicester and Palace with both teams likely to be tired after European and FA cup games.
Defenders:
Fabian Schar: Newcastle are back to winning ways following a win over Wolves in GW32. Howe’s men have been good defensively and have a really good double in GW33, both being at home makes it even better as well. Alongside the CS potentials, Schar could also be amongst attacking returns having already had four attacking returns so far this season, He also does well in BPS whenever he has a CS and/or attacking returns which is an added bonus!
Cancelo and Laporte: Cancelo once again proved his worth registering an assist in the big game against Liverpool in GW32, Although Cancelo and City play only once in GW33 against Brighton, it’s hard to look beyond the City fullback. Brighton aren’t strong defensively and there’s potential for attacking and defensive returns from Cancelo. With Brighton having just 2 wins from the last 13 games, a double up with Laporte does not sound bad at all.

Midfielders:
Son:
One of the most in form players in the league right now, Son is hard to look beyond even though he plays only once. Son has scored six goals and has an assist in the last 3 games, 48 points during the period. Son plays Brighton at home making him an easy pick in our scout picks for GW33.
Fernandes:
Fernandes has not been in the best of forms with 1 assist in the last 4 games. But the DGW against Norwich and Liverpool should draw attention. In GW25 and GW26 against Brighton and Leeds, he got 10 and 12 points each. Norwich also fall in the same criteria of teams like Leeds and Brighton- Defensively poor, but plays an attacking style of football which makes them concede a lot of goals too.
Ward Prowse and Cornet:
War Prowse and Cornet are differential picks in this team at just 6.5% and 1.4% TSB respectively. Both of them have decent Doubles- Southampton playing Arsenal, Burnley and Burnley playing West Ham and Southampton. With both teams heavily dependent on these players for attacking action, they should be among the point and help you with huge increase in ranks.

Forwards:
Cristiano Ronaldo:
Ronaldo and Man United have a double in GW33 against Norwich at Home and away to Liverpool. Norwich are poor away from home and Ronaldo will look to capitalize on the weak Norwich defence especially when a certain new manager could be watching. The Liverpool game is a tough one but Ronaldo could turn up in a big game.
Harry Kane:
Kane has been benefiting from Conte ball with the Spurs forward scoring goals and also creating plenty of goals for his teammates. The Spurs forward has not blanked since GW27 scoring five goals and assisting eight goals. Another single gameweek candidate but it’s hard to look past him this week.
Chris Wood:
Wood has been doing his job neatly for Newcastle since moving there from Burnley. He scored the winner against Wolves and has two good opportunities in GW33 against Leicester and Palace at home to keep his goal scoring run. He’s on penalties as well which is an added bonus!
