Bowen (0 points) to Saka (5 points) ✅

Ronaldo (17 points) to Kane (14 points) ❌ 😥

Dias (0 points) to Robertson (18 points) ✅

All three transfer trends returned, despite Ronaldo outscoring Kane by 3 points. Massive hauls all around. Onto GW30!

FPL GW30 Transfer Trends ~ Most transferred in and transferred out players

Bowen’s injury sees 268k managers look elsewhere for midfield options. Salah’s initial doubt during Double Gameweek 29 prompted 141k managers to transfer him out, given Liverpool blank in GW30. Watford forward Dennis follows, with 132k managers taking him out of their teams.

92k managers replace West Ham forward Antonio possibly due to his relatively poor form. Finally, Cancelo sees 77k managers transfer him out despite a clean sheet against Palace.

On the flip side, Toney is the hottest prospect heading into GW30, with 253k managers impressed with his two consecutive double digit hauls. Saka (138k) follows closely with his recent consistent form.

Coady’s goal and clean sheet against Everton prompts 130k managers to bring him in ahead of Wolves’ fixture against Leeds. The Spurs attacking duo of Kulusevski (129k) and Kane (126k) complete the top 5 transfers in list, as Spurs face West Ham in Blank Gameweek 30.

The 3 transfer combinations we will be focusing on are: Weghorst to Kane, Bowen to Kulusevski, and Broja to Lacazette.

FPL GW30 Transfer Combination 1:

Wout Weghorst (£6.5) to Harry Kane (£12.4)

FPL GW30 Best Transfer Combination- Weghorst to Kane
Spurs’ fixtures from GW30-36

After a couple of consecutive blanks, Burnley striker Weghorst sees many managers make the upgrade to an in-form premium striker Harry Kane.

With 7 goals in his last 6 Premier League games, Kane has rewarded many managers who made the move to him for double gameweek 26. Given the limited options in the forward selection in FPL, Kane is arguably one of the standout forwards to have.

It’s no surprise that, in the last 6 gameweeks, he is the best among all forwards for total shots (30), shots on target (14), shots out of the box (11), big chances (10), and big chances created (5). Only Ronaldo beats him for shots in the box (19).

With an xGI of 1.1, there’s a high chance Kane is involved in the Spurs attack. Combine that with Spurs’ 2.02 xG, and there’s a high likelihood we will see Kane involved on the scoresheet.

Who do Spurs face in GW30?

Spurs play West Ham at home in GW30. In the last 6 gameweeks, West Ham have only kept 2 clean sheets, conceding 5 goals. They’ve registered an xGC of 1.1. And, according to Drafthound, they have 14% odds of keeping a clean sheet against Spurs. Pretty low odds.

Kane is definitely a player to bring in if you haven’t yet, given the limited number of teams playing in Blank Gameweek 30.

West Ham have registered an xGC of 1.1.

FPL GW30 Transfer Combination 2:

Jarrod Bowen (£6.8) to Dejan Kulusevski (£6.2)

FPL GW30 Best Transfer Combination- Bowen to Kulusevski
Spurs’ fixtures from GW30-36

Bowen’s injury makes him the top transfer out prior to the GW30 deadline, with 21.9% of managers turning to Spurs attacker Dejan Kulusevski.

A big debate prior to the deadline of GW30 is the pick between Kulusevski vs. Son. Son at the higher price does offer decent stats; however, in terms of value, Kulusevski offers a cheap route into the Spurs attack, and he would be a great differential to own.

In the last 5 gameweeks, Kulusevski has scored 1 goal and 4 assists, registering 2 double digit hauls during that time. In the last 6 gameweeks, Kulusevski has more shots, shots in the box, big chances created, and touches in the box than Son. At his price, Kulusevski paired up with Kane is a great attacking combination.

FPL GW30 Transfer Combination 3:

Armando Broja (£5.5) to Alexandre Lacazette (£8.4)

FPL GW30 Best Transfer Combination- Broja to Lacazette
Arsenal’s fixtures from GW30-36

Broja’s fall in form despite favourable fixtures has prompted 5.5% of managers to switch to another forward option in the form of Arsenal’s Lacazette.

In the last 6 PL games, Lacazette has scored 1 goal and 5 assists. Those numbers tell one story, but those who may have watched the games know that he has been unlucky to not tuck away a couple of chances. He is pivotal in the buildup play and creativity of the squad, allowing others to tuck away goals for themselves.

However, statistically, he is best among sub-10m forwards for shots (22), shots in the box (17), and key passes (11). He is also 2nd best for touches in the box (39). Given his penalty duty, I still think Lacazette is a decent attacking pick from the Arsenal lineup, especially for those who already have Saka and some form of Arsenal defense.

Who do Arsenal face in GW30?

Arsenal play Aston Villa away in GW30. While Villa are not the worst team defensively, in the last 6 gameweeks, they are 4th worst among all teams for headed attempts conceded (17), and they have conceded 13 big chances during that time (6th worst).

Additionally, with an xGC of 1.16 and 22% odds of keeping a clean sheet (Drafthound), Arsenal will look to claw back from their loss against Liverpool in GW29.

Aston Villa are 4th worst for headed attempts conceded (17).
