Best FPL Double Gameweek Fixtures to Target
Liverpool v Leeds ~ FPL GW26
The already confirmed fixture of Leeds and Liverpool is creating a huge rush for 3 Liverpool players with Mo Salah & Trent pretty much in there for everyone, some might go for a third defender with the likes of Andy Robertson or Virgil van Dijk with nailed minutes and Robertson’s form has been superb, assisting 4 goals in his last 3 games, some may even go for Jota but his minutes aren’t nailed to be honest and with so many attacking options up front for Liverpool, it is very risky. They also have a cup final coming in at that weekend so some might be rotated in that scenario. The Triple Captain chip on Mo Salah in GW26 looks very very tasty and most of the FPL managers who have it might just go for it to secure the points.
Arsenal v Wolves ~ FPL GW26
Arsenal has a pretty alluring DGW fixture on paper as well, point to be noted is they have a blank GW27, so bringing too many asset might be a bit worry for gw27 with Mo Salah and Trent also having their blank in that particular week. Either of Saka & Tierney or both might be a good option for this DGW. Wolves are a tough team to crack and their forwards aren’t firing in too many goals so Tierney might be a better option than Saka in that scenario. They also play Brentford at their home and Brentford’s away record is pretty poor in this season, won only 4 games out of 12 so expect Arsenal to secure a win there.
Burnley v Spurs ~ FPL GW26
Spurs are a new team now, with 2 new additions to their side they are a team to watch out for. Harry Kane and Son both are pretty decent options at the moment, Spurs do not have a blank GW27 so plugging in Spurs asset won’t regret you for that weekend. Spurs will also look to challenge for the top 4 finish and they’ll look to make the game against City interesting.
Watford v Crystal Palace ~ FPL GW26
This is another pretty interesting game, with Roy Hodgson facing his old club, he’s more of a defensive manager which means that they would take more of a conservative approach. Crystal Palace under Viera is the opposite, they would like to attack. Eduoard becomes a very good option in this scenario as Palace have a good run of fixtures prior to the double as well.
