Overall chips used by managers in top 10k and overall

General Pointers to note for planning your Chips:

  • Brighton(vs Watford, United) and Manchester United(vs Southampton, Brighton) Double in GW25. Brighton blank in GW24 though due to Chelsea’s Club World Cup commitments.
  • Arsenal blank in GW25 and GW27. They have a very good Double Gameweek in GW26 against Brentford and Wolves.
  • Liverpool have the best Double Gameweek fixture in GW26 against defensively poor teams- Norwich and Leeds. Liverpool blank in GW27.
  • Eight teams double in GW26- Liverpool, Arsenal, Wolves, Palace, Tottenham, Watford, Leeds and Burnley.
  • Burnley could have a Double Gameweek in GW27(vs Leicester/Villa/Everton) which means they could have a Double Double in GW26 and GW27.

All About FPL GW24 Wildcard:

GW24 Wildcard Draft:

FPL GW24 Wildcard draft
Money in the bank- 0.2. Bench one of Nouri/White/Martinelli
  • The basic plan is to attack the confirmed Double Gameweeks in GW25 and GW26 with players from Manchester United, Brighton, Liverpool, Arsenal the main targets.
  • Brighton have a Double Gameweek in GW25 and have a great run of fixtures – Watford, Burnley, Villa, Newcastle in 4 out of the next 5 games.
  • Edouard has Norwich, Brentford, Watford, Burnley in 4 out of the next 5 games and he is arguable the best budget striker option in the game at the moment.
  • Going for Kane(Double in GW26) instead of Ronaldo is also a good option if you are not sure about Ronaldo’s form.

Good Differential picks with high ceiling and great fixtures to attack in GW24 Wildcard:

  • De Bruyne(C) vs Brentford- 14.9% TSB
  • Foden vs Brentford- 8.0% TSB
  • Edouard vs Norwich- 5.0% TSB
  • Dalot vs Burnley- 2.6% TSB

GW25 Transfer- 1FT- De Bruyne to Fernandes

FPL GW24 Wildcard
0.7 in the bank
  • 6 DGW25 players– Ronaldo, Fernandes, Dalot, Maupay, Sanchez and Cucurella.
  • Fernandes(11.7) is a great captaincy shout for GW25 with him getting back to his old self bagging 2 goals, 2 assists and 23 points in DGW22.
  • Arsenal trio of White, Ramsdale and Martinelli blank but going with 6 Double Gameweek players and a strong squad should make up for it easily.

GW26- Salah, Son and Broja/Weghorst in for Bruno, Ronaldo and Foden(-8)

FPL GW24 Wildcard
4.4M in the bank
  • 9 players for DGW26- Salah, Jota, Alexander Arnold, Son, Ramsdale, White, Martinelli, Edouard, Ait Nouri, Weghorst*.
  • Salah for Bruno. No brainer. Triple Captain option against two of the worst defensive sides in the league.
  • Son for Foden. City have a slightly tough run of fixtures from GW26 and with City having almost wrapped up the league, there could be rotation and Foden being preferred for the more important Champions League games.
  • Broja/Wegorst for Ronaldo- Weghorst better option if Burnley have the Double Double in GW26(Confirmed- Brighton, Spurs) and GW27(Palace, Villa*).
  • With 15 good players along with strong Single Gameweek fixtures, there is a decent shout for Bench Boost with the above squad in GW26. But it is agreed that it will be really difficult to go against Salah Triple Captaincy given his effective ownership and it could easily backfire.

GW27- Free Hit/Negotiable with -4(Cancelo/Digne and Coutinho for Jota and White) to field 11 players

FPL GW24 Wildcard draft
  • If you use the Wildcard in GW24 and have only one Free Hit left, it is advisable to use the Free Hit for later weeks(GW30/GW27/GW36) for the more difficult Blanks or the bigger Double Gameweeks.
  • You would be able to field 11 players for GW27 by just taking a hit.
  • There is a chance that two of your players could double in GW27(Coutinho and Weghorst) if Villa vs Burnley get rescheduled in GW27.

GW28 Team without making any transfers:

FPL GW24 Wildcard draft
2.7 in the bank
  • Before the GW28 deadline, FA Cup 5th round would have concluded and we should have a clear picture on which teams will blank in GW30.
  • So there will 3 Gameweeks to plan your transfers and have a squad ready for GW30 even if you don’t want to Free Hit in GW30.
  • Arsenal vs Villa is the only confirmed fixture for GW30 as it stands and we will already have 3 players(Ramsdale, Martinelli and Coutinho) as per above planning.
