The blog contains eight custom stats tables and also our thoughts from each game below the table section.

 – Watford v Norwich

Sort of an unexpected result considering WAT was playing at home. Massive win for NOR in context of the relegation battle. Some super finishing for all three goals.

 Everton v Aston Villa

The home team was way too passive in 1H; conceded right at the half-timeAll chances created in 2H; Godfrey looked sharp at times with his crossesDCL got in the right places a few times but lacked finishing.

Brentford v Wolves

Both halves dominated by Brentford the home team with 2x the touches in the Wolves penalty box. Some extraordinary finishing for both goals by Wolves. WOL have now scored 26% of season goals in the last 2 (5G)

Leeds v Newcastle United

Perhaps, the most shocking result of GW23There was an air of inevitability for Leeds winning this on FPL TwitterTotal of 70 opposition penalty box touches in the game – HIGHEST for the GWDaniel James with a couple of goal-scoring opportunities but to no avail.

Manchester United v West Ham United

A below-par performance from the Hammers considering the significance of the game (4th CL spot)An almost non-eventful 1H with an overall xG of 0.31Just a solitary Big Chance created in the game. Rashford with a Fergie Time goal; 8th time Man Utd has scored in 76-90 minute period.

Southampton v Manchester City

A fantastic 7′ team goal from the home team and a class finish by KWP. Obviously, MCI grew in the game post the goal – had a total of 45 touches in SOU’s penalty boxLaporte with a 2H equalizer (his 3rd goal and 3rd double-digit haul)Raheem missed one of the 3 big chances created by the away team2 pts dropped keeps the title race alive.
