Wolves:
- 5th 0-1 loss of the season; total 7 losses
- Only 1 goal scored in last 5; 5th worst xG (16.3)

Liverpool:
- 10 clean-sheet of the season (#1); 4 in last 5
- 2nd best xG conceded (14.7)
- TAA becomes the 2nd player to cross 100 points; a bonus magnate this season with 21 so far (career best: 26)

- Jota missed 2 big chances (xG: 1.08) in a cameo of 31 mins

Salah has returned in 15/16 GWs this season (No goal-involvement in GW2 v BUR)
Aston Villa:
- Douglas Luiz with the highest xG (0.10).
- Next 4 fixtures’ FDR is 7th
- Watkins was kept quiet
- Martinez looked at his prime best with some astounding saves
- Targett replaced Buendia for this fixture.

Last 4 xG (FDR) | 6.2 (6) | 4.5 (16) |

Key FPL talking points from Arsenal vs Southampton
Arsenal:
- 7-game unbeaten run at home (6W / 1D)
- 7th clean-sheet for the season
- Ramsdale is now the highest FPL earner for ARS (70 pts) with ESR (69) & Gabriel (67) the next two
- ARS didn’t miss Aubameyang much as they hit the post twice (Saka & Martinelli) and one goal ruled offside (Gabriel) marginally
- FPL Cue: Odegaard (5.4m & 2.3% ownership) is on a 3-game goal scoring spree. He has been consistently starting games under Arteta. Anyone looking for a cheap MF option <6m, he is a stand out option.
Southampton:
- A.Armstrong subbed out in 43’ due to a calf injury. Could be missing the next game
- SOU started sharp with some aggressive pressing and taking the game to the hosts
- Post the 1st goal, surprisingly all the zest faded away
- No clean-sheets in last 5 games
- JWP with the highest xG (0.20)
- FPL Cue: Ralph would be targeting the next 2 games to get a win which has been amiss since GW12. Broja remains to be one of the most exciting strikers at that price (5.1m)
Chelsea vs Leeds
Scoreline | 3 | 2 |
xG(1H/2H) | 2.78 (1.06/1.72) | 1.87 (1.13/0.74) |

Top 2 FPL scorers | Jorginho (15) Rudiger (9) | Raphinha (7) Gelhardt (7) |
Next 4 | EVE-wol-avl-BHA | mci-ARS-liv-AVL |
Style of Play | 3-4-2-1 | 4-3-1-2 |
Last 4 xG (FDR) | 8.2 (10) | 5.2 (8) |
Form | W-L-W-D | L-D-W-D |
Key FPL talking points from Chelsea vs Leeds
Cheslea:
- 1 clean-sheet in the last 6 games
- 7 goals conceded in the last 4 games; Kante & Kovacic are being missed immensely
- 4 yellow cards & 1 point in last 6 for James
- Rudiger is now the highest FPL earner for CHE (81 pts) with Mount (77) and James (76) the next 2
- FL Cue: Mount has hit a rich vein of form. 5 returns in the last 3 (3G / 2A). He has played full 90 mins six times – has returned in 5 of those this season
Leeds:
- LEE seems to be getting closer to 20/21 form but still a lot of work to be done
- 9th best xG (recent improvement) & 3rd worst xG conceded for the season
- Tough run of fixtures coming up
- FPL Cue: Raphinha has already bettered his 20/21 goal tally of 6 and now with penalty spot responsibility added, managers can look to hold on to him
Norwich vs Manchester United

Big Chances | 2(Ronaldo – 2) | 1 (Kabak) |
Top 2 FPL scorers | DDG (10)Ronaldo (9) | Krul (3)Placheta (3) |
Next 4 | AVL-whu-ARS-cry | bre-BHA-new-BUR |
Style of Play | 4-3-2-1 | 4-2-2-2 |
Last 4 xG (FDR) | 5.3 (7) | 5.7 (9) |
Form | L-L-D-D | W-W-W-D |
Key FPL talking points from Norwich vs Manchester United
Norwich City:
- NOR ranks 5th on Shots on Target for the period GW 13 – GW 16 & 8th best for xG conceded
- Still struggling to make use of the chances created; 1 goal scored in the last 4 fixtures
- FPL Cue: No asset worth really looking at currently
Manchester United:
- 2nd straight win under Rangnick and his peculiar 4-2-2-2 format
- 7th goal for CR7 this season; 3 in last 3
- 10th occasion when DDG has made 3+ saves this season; 53 in total (2 more than Ramsdale)
- Sancho was subbed off in 67’ for Greenwood as MUN pushed for a goal
- Rashford with 3 shots and Sancho with 0 were under-par
- FPL Cue: CR7 looks to be a necessity considering MUN’s next four mouth-watering fixtures. His xG per 90 stands at 0.63.
