Aston Villa:
- Electric atmosphere at Villa Park
- AVL tried to move BHA players OOP by moving the ball quickly
- Targett (3) and Young (2) with Top 2 chances created
- Mings, Watkins & Bailey with 2 SiB each
- Watkins with a fantastic finish (xG: 0.09)

- Mings with 1G & 2A for the season
- Martinez, Mings & Cash are the Top 3 FPL pts generator
- FPL Cue: They play MCI & LIV in next 4; so wait and watch before jumping on to their assets. Watkins might flourish under the new manager
Brighton
- Lamptey’s 2nd start of the season; highest xG for the game (0.29)
- BHA grew into the game in the 2nd half of H1 but AVL did well to control them
- 3 SiB (Watkins,El-Ghazi & Buendia with 2 each)
- Lamptey subbed out in 79’ for Maupay which left open spaces on the wings for AVL. Both goals coming post the Lamptey sub
- BHA is on a 7-game winless run (5D 2L);sitting 8th on the table
- 3rd start in a row from the bench for Maupay
- 4th time this season they haven’t scored a goal (nor-ARS-EVE being the other 3)
