FPL GW2 Review:
GW2 almost felt like a failure of a game week for me 😂. I scored 68 points, 12 more than the average, and had a rise in rank (eventually) from 717k > 678k. West Ham look absolutely fantastic and thankfully I had Couf🅰️l and 🅰️nt⚽️ni⚽️. No Benrahma but that didn’t give me a rank drop. Captaincy disappointment with Bruno, but TAA, Greenwood and Ings all bad attacking returns to help bring my score to a respectable 68. I’m currently sitting at more points than this time last season so no worries right now for me.
Players to monitor for me:
The players in my team who I don’t want have been transferred out more detail below 😂. The surrounding core of my team I’m very happy with right now.
FPL Gameweek 3(GW3) Transfer plan/ watch list going forwards:
Totally against how I normally play the game. But I made both my free transfers no longer after GW2 had finished. My first transfer was Targett > Ayling. Targett was dropping and has been a huge regret starting the season with. I couldn’t see myself wanting to lose 0.1m for him, so got Ayling in. This move was planned in for a few weeks time too so it’s just been brought forward. After Benrahma went wild on Sunday night, I raged out Barnes for him after delivering nothing in GW1 and 2. I’m fully aware that Leicester have Norwich next, but the West Ham deadly duo are too good not to have right now. I’m monitoring how Raphinha, DCL or Lukaku do this week as they are on my watch list currently with the turn of fixtures for Leeds and Chelsea soon!
FPL Gameweek 3(GW3) tips 👀
I don’t want to sound like a hypocrite here because I’ve not done this. But if your team is in relatively good shape, and you can roll a transfer going into the international break, definitely do so. I always try too but felt my team needed some repairing so made both transfers. However, I’ve seen some teams with some big issues in defence so definitely fix issues where needed.
FPL Gameweek 3(GW3) Team Reveal:
Benrahma and Ayling come straight into my starting team after being transferred in. I think I’m going to captain Antonio this week. With 6 goal involvements and 29 points already, he’s the most Inform player playing a poor Palace side who lost midweek in the cup. It could change to Bruno last minute though. I struggle habits both Bruno and Salah in my team and not captaining either but this may well be the Gameweek to do so.
I’m also hoping Ings can bow out of my team with a few goals against Brentford. I’m likely to bring in DCL in GW4 as a straight swap with Everton’s fixture swing!

FPL GW2 Review
Similar to GW1, got a decent score but not having Benrahma and Greenwood affected my OR again. Mahrez and Raphinha did cover some damage and gave me an overall green arrow to 670k. I believe the next couple of weeks are going to be crucial and the likes of Lukaku, Kane, and possibly Ronaldo are going to make it more exciting.
GW3 Transfer plan and watchlist
I have already used one of 2 FT and got Benrahma for Mahrez. Kind of a no-brainer move considering it gets rid of Mahrez, gets me a good player in Benrahma, and saves some cash. The other FT is going to be either Toney to DCL or Barnes to Son(c). Getting Son definitely seems a better choice this GW but that locks my team and leaves no money itb to upgrade Toney in GW4. As things stand, I have decided to wait for any Barnes leak from SamuelMartinFPL, a Twitter account that gets Leicester lineups very early and accurate. If Barnes is confirmed starting, I’d do the DCL move and cap Antonio, otherwise go with Son(c)
Few tips for GW3 and how to climb up in ranks.
This week is the best opportunity if you want to take a punt on the captaincy. The likes of Ings, Raphinha, Bamford are decent shouts and high-risk high reward moves. I’d advise not going for major surgery in your team this GW as the next one is going to be critical for so many reasons. If you can, try having 2 FTs for GW4 which is after an unpredictable international break!

GW2 Review
I’m very happy with my GW2 score, 88 points is another brilliant score and was a great follow-up to my impressive GW1 score. Antonio, Benrahma, Greenwood, Trent, and Tsimikas all getting double-digit returns! This is the first season I can remember where I am extremely happy with my team and see no ideal early moves, I’m looking to do. So, I am excited to keep the momentum going in GW3.
FPL Gameweek 3 Plan
As previously mentioned I am very happy with how my team is looking so have no real transfer plans. However, I cannot roll the transfer again so will have to make a move of some sort this gameweek. I’m not looking to change my midfield or attack this week so the change will most likely come in defence. With Tsimikas likely to lose his place due to the return of Robertson he could be an option to transfer out. Veltman’s continued absence also gives me a reason to transfer him out. So, one of those two defenders are likely to be transferred out this week, for whom I am not sure yet, most likely Duffy or Livramento.
FPL Gameweek 3 Team Reveal
With Tsimikas likely to lose his place to Robertson and Villa’s defence returning to form last week it is an easy switch from Tsimikas to Cash in my starting XI this week. Everyone else keeps their place as I have no reason to change much at all. Captaincy this week is a much tougher question. For my side, it is between the in-form Antonio or the ever-reliable Bruno. At this moment in time, I am leaning towards the West Ham striker as his form is too good to ignore, and faces a low in confidence Crystal Palace side.
FPL GW3 Tips
If possible, ensure you have two transfers to use for GW4. The international break always throws up injuries or delays. Especially with the uncertainty around the Covid situation, having 2 transfers to fix any major problems that pop up over the break could be key for building on a good start to the season.
