FPL GW14- Captian Picks

It’s here lads, yet another game week deadline upon us and here is our FPL Game Week 14 captain picks for this weekend.After exciting Champions League and Europa league(for United and Arsenal fans :3) action during the midweek,you have to consider quite a few factors including availability, game time during midweek, and of course injuries before deciding the best captain bet for the upcoming game week. We have tried to give you managers the best possible options for the captain arm band.

AllaboutFPL captain choices ahead of GW14:

Sadio Mane vs Brighton(H), 12.2 MIL,TSB: 40.2%:

Liverpool face 12^th placed Brighton at home and we can safely look at Mane as a captain option. The Liverpool winger has been in great form and is the 2^nd highest scoring player in the game. Mane has an impressive 8.6 points average per 90 mins at home and this is a great number! He already has 8 goals in the campaign and can be lethal against Brighton.

Jamie Vardy vs Everton(H), 9.6MIL,TSB: 41.9%:

Leicester have surely caught everyone’s attention now and are 2^nd in the table and their results at this stage has been better than what they had in their title winning season! Vardy has been in sensational form and his numbers have been sort of a statistical anomaly! He has been massively over performing against his expected goals ratio has been lethal with his conversion rate. Everton are in shambles this season with Marco Silva’s job under threat and their Fixture Difficulty rating being reduced to 2! Vardy and co will surely look to pounce on that and can expect some good returns.

Harry Kane vs Bournemouth(A), 10.8 MIL, TSB: 17.4% :

Though it’s not been a long time since the Special One took charge as the Spurs boss, there is a clear difference in morale of the players. We could see their fighting spirit in action against Olympiakos. Mourinho rates Harry Kane very highly and he uses Lucas Moura and Son in very forward positions. Dele given creative freedom gives Harry Kane all the more chances to be lethal and they are facing a Bournemouth side who have been attacking well but clearly weak defensively. This game might see a lot of points and Harry Kane might fare well.

Tammy Abraham vs West Ham(H), 8.0 MIL,TSB: 49.6%(Only if he is fit,check out our space for the latest injury updates and Press conference news)

West Ham looked dreadful against Spurs and their results have been really poor in the absence of Fabianski and injuries plaguing the squad. Tammy Abraham has scored the 3^rd most points this season and has been clinical for Chelsea. Tammy, Pulisic/Mount/Willian are also great options for captain but Tammy is safer as he’s not rotation prone. This might be a juicy fixture and Chelsea will try to utilize it to their best. He’s also 2^nd in the Golden boot race with 10 goals and would look to add to his tally.

Kevin DeBruyne vs Newcastle(A), 10.2 MIL,TSB: 40.3%:

This man has been in form this season and though City aren’t performing like they did for 2 seasons previously, he is still very involved in their attack. He already leads the list in most assists by a big margin and also contributes to the goal list occasionally. Sterling has not been reliable recently but we know his potential and he can bounce back too as Aguero is side-lined with Injury. City face Newcastle who have been very poor and Pep will look to his players to take advantage.
