Have you lost your mini-leagues in FPL and think you have nothing to look forward to for GW 38? No issues! FanTeam has got this sorted this for you. They are offering a crazy €100,000 event only for GW 38 fixtures.
All you need to do is to pick your 11 for the final game week based on a couple of rules and aim for the top spot. In this blog, we’ll walk you through the prize pool, team selection rules, and scoring for this mega event and also reveal our team for the event.
Fanteam GW38 Main Event Prize Pool:
The GW38 Main Event is a parting gift from Fanteam to us fantasy football managers, with a €100,000 event with the winner taking home €20,000 in total. The event is restricted to 7000 entries, so hurry up and join soon.
As of now, there are 500 entries out of the 7000 and you’re guaranteed returns if you finish in the top 1111 ranks. Ranks 595 till 1111 fetch €30, which could be a great return for us fantasy managers. You could also be inline to win some life-changing sum.
FanTeam Game Rules:
As you can see the mega event rules are pretty simple, you’ll have to choose a team of 11 players from the 10 GW38 fixtures all of them kicking off at 17:00 CET on Sunday. You can join in and make changes to the team until the last minute before kickoff. So unlike FPL, in FanTeam you can see the lineup of teams and make changes to your team. This particular bodes well for this event as you’ll have starting 11 of all the teams with you one hour before the FanTeam GW38 event deadline.
Your virtual budget is 194.1 Mil. You can put together your team as you wish. The tournament is played in Pursuit Mode. You will receive 0.04 Bonus Points for each 0.1M (or 1 point for 2M) of the Budget that you did not use.
FanTeam Scoring Rules:
As you can see from the above, the scoring is extremely similar to FPL but FanTeam has added a couple of things like the MID/FWD getting an extra point for playing the full match and a player causing a penalty or freekick that leads to a goal etc.
ALLABOUTFPL Team Reveal for the Fan Team GW38 €100K Mega Event:
As this contest has clean sheet stacking penalty we have with 4 defensive options from four different teams. We are going in with a 3-4-3 formation with goals expected to galore in the final Gameweek usually. Lloris has three clean sheets in last 5 and is expected have one more with against a Palace side who have 0 points from last 7 games.
VVD is the safest choice from Liverpool. Bednarek is the differential pick from defense up against a Sheffield side whose goals have dried up and have nothing to play for. Pieters completes the defense and is subjected to change depending on Taylor’s injury.
The midfield as expected is dominated by Manchester City assets up against the worst defense in the league and already relegated Norwich. Sterling on this form is a no-brainer.
KDB, the best fantasy football asset this season is chasing the assist record would love to add to his 11 goals this season. Our differential City asset is Mahrez who was rested in GW37+ and would look to end the season a high. The midfield is completed by Martial who has 6 goals, 5 assists since restart has everything to play for in the final game.
Ings, Kane, Greenwood complete the attack. Ings is natural choice chasing the golden boot. Kane has 4 goals from last 2 games and we shouldn’t always miss out on end season Kane. Greenwood is in great form and he completes our team.
