All Things FPL GW36+ Differential picks | Best Captain choices

FPL GW35+ turned out to be stellar for managers who had Michail Antonio and Raheem Sterling as both attackers had a sensational week scoring four goals and a hat trick respectively. But GW35+ proved to be pretty much ordinary for all other managers who did not have both or at least one of them. Now that we have got just 22 hours left between the end of GW35+ and FPL GW36+ Deadline and just three more GW’s, it is important for us managers to get our transfers and captain choices right.

FPL GW36+ offers some exciting fixtures with Man City taking on a relegation-threatened Bournemouth and Chelsea taking on an already relegated Norwich side, we expect loads of goal and some of our star players to deliver. Check out the blog to know our 3 best differential and captain picks ahead of the FPL GW36+ deadline.

FPL GW36+ Differential picks(<7 % TSB):

It’s safe to say our differentials have been a constant hit with Our FPL GW35+Differentials Antonio and Sterling having a good day at the box office. Without further ado here are our three best differential options for GW36+

1. David Silva(7.3) vs Bournemouth(H) TSB:4.8%

FPL GW36+ David Silva
Dsilva is nailed on to start

With Pep Guardiola suggesting there will be 5-6 changes to the starting 11 for the Bournemouth game, David Silva is almost nailed to start after being rested vs Brighton. Silva looks to be the ‘Man on a Mission’ in his last few days at the club getting 31 points from 4 starts since restart averaging 7.75 points/start.

Silva stat attack:

  • 2 big chances, 4 big chances created since restart
  • Second best xA(2.59), xA90(0.59) in the league since restart only behind teammate KDB having played a game less than KDB.
  • 1 goal,2 assists, 17 points from his last start vs Newcastle in GW34+
  • 2 assists, 10 points against Bournemouth in reverse fixture in GW3

2. Giroud(6.7) vs Norwich City(H), TSB: 2.9%

Fancy Goals from this man against Norwich

With Giroud and Abraham, there comes always the doubt of rotation. Lampard openly stated that he was unhappy with some his players performances against Sheffield. Abraham had a ordinary game against Sheffield and is likely to make way for the World Cup winner. He has got a return in his last two starts but maybe a big haul is around against the defensively poor Norwich side.

Giroud in numbers:

  • Scored a goal in 3/4 starts since the restart
  • Up against officially relegated Norwich side who have conceded the most goals(67) in the league.
  • Chelsea have won their last 4 home games, while Norwich are the only side without a win since the restart.
  • 3 big chances in the last four games. Pulisic has zero in the same period.

3. Gabriel Jesus(9.8) vs Bournemouth(H), TSB: 6.2%

Gabriel Jesus FPL GW36+
GabJ is set to continue up top for Man City

Having played just 60 and 63 minutes in his last two games, Jesus is likely to be set for another start in FPL GW36+. He has not been in great form since Aguero injury but has taken off superbly in last two GWs with 2 goals, 2 assists and 22 points. Though he is likely to be removed early again he is definitely worth the punt given City’s form.

Jesus in numbers:

  • Second Highest xG(19.13) in the league only behind Salah(who has played 1000 mins more) – Back to form now so expect better conversion rate.
  • Highest xG90 in the league(0.98)- Minimum 1500 minutes.
  • Second highest in big chances over last three GWs.
  • Second highest xG(4.65) since restart only behind Antonio(5.86).

Ultra-Differential Pick:

Stuart Armstrong(5.2) vs Brighton, TSB: 0.7%

Armstrong must be a good two-week punt for FPL GW36+ and GW37+ playing Brighton and Bournemouth. He has been silently in good form of late returning in 4/6 matches since restart. Brighton have never beaten Southampton in Premier League across 5 games and the trend is likely to continue with Saints assets among points.

The numbers- Armstrong:

  • 2 goals, 3 assists, 35 points since restart averaging 5.83 points/game.
  • Up against Brighton who have the second-worst xGA(11.09) since the restart.
  • Saints have lost just one game since restart after playing United, City, Arsenal, Everton in the process.
