Two thirds of the Premier League season is done and dusted. The final third kicks off with plausibly the biggest Double Gameweek of the campaign. FPL GW26 sees as many as 14 teams play twice and therefore it could be GW which sees mammoth scores. A lot of managers will be looking to use their chips this week, and the prospect of a differential boosting the rank is therefore enhanced that much more. If you are looking to make giant strides and want to catch up big ranks, check out our Differential Picks(<10% TSB) and ultra- differential picks(<1% TSB) for FPL GW26.
FPL GW26 Differential Picks:
Lucas Digne vs Southampton(H),West Brom(A), TSB:8.1%, £6.1
Everton arguably have the best fixtures on paper in FPL GW26 as they take on two teams who are struggling for points. Lucas Digne offers the best solution from the Everton defense. Digne has created 7 big chances during the course of the season, only Andy Robertson(8) has created more among defenders.
The Everton fullback has 8 assists in FPL this season, more than any other defender, despite missing one of third of the season so far. To put it in numbers, Digne has 8 returns in 16 appearances. That is exactly an attacking return every other game.
As for the two oppositions Everton face in FPL GW26, both of them have struggled in front of goal. Southampton have scored 7 goals in their last 13 matches, West Brom have found the back of the net just 19 times all season. As a result, the prospect of Everton keeping a clean sheet in these two games is high.

Ezri Konsa vs Leeds(A), Sheffield United(A), TSB:5.6%, £4.6
Surprise, surprise, another defender on the list. It is not often that we pick defenders in our differentials. But the Double Gameweeks have proven profitable for defenders so far.
Stat Attack: In the three double gameweeks that we have had so far, the top scorers have been Stones(27), Aina(20) and Dallas(17). Could Konsa be the next?
In FPL GW26, Aston Villa take on two teams who are the worst in terms of defending set pieces. Indeed, both Leeds and Sheffield United have conceded 11 goals from dead ball situations, more than any other team in the division. Konsa may well profit from that.
Last time out: When Aston Villa faced Sheffield United earlier in the season, it was indeed Konsa who scored the only goal of the game, from a set piece of course.
As far as the clean sheet potential for Villa is concerned, it is hard to foresee one against Leeds. However, they are most likely to keep one against Sheffield United, the lowest scorers in the league this season.
Pro Tip: In the potential absence of Grealish, having a double Aston Villa defense to go along with Watkins is the best way to go about it. Konsa offers the cheapest route in to their defense, he also is their biggest goal threat among defenders. Therefore having him+ Martinez would be apt for FPL GW26 and beyond.

Bernardo Silva vs West Ham(H), Wolves(H), TSB: 1.3%, £7.4
If I tell you that a Manchester City player has started the 13 games in a row amidst all the fixture congestion, would you believe me? But that is exactly what Bernardo Silva has done, What Pep Roulette? In fact he has even started two of the three FA cup games. No wonder the world number 1 has had him for a while in his team!
Quick stat: From GW14 onwards, Silva has started every single game, not even Ederson has done that. Astounding!
But a guarantee of start isn’t the only reason to bring him in to your FPL teams. Silva has recently added goals and assists to his game. The Portuguese has registered 2 goals and 4 assists this season, all of those have come in the last 8 matches.
The Manchester City man started the Champions league game as well midweek and registered a goal and an assist. Truth be told, he is in a rich vein of form. Couple that with a guarantee of start, we are looking at the safest attacking option from the blue half of Manchester.
Numbers game: Bernardo Silva has 5 goals and 6 assists in the last 11 matches across all competitions. Not even Ilkay Gundogan has more attacking returns in that time.

Mason Mount vs Manchester United(H), Liverpool(A), TSB:6.0%, £6.8
Thomas Tuchel has given us FPL managers a headache as to who he would pick in his starting eleven given the embarrassment of riches at his disposal. One player who seems to have nailed his place in the starting eleven is Mason Mount.
Mount has had a change of role since Tuchel has come in. The Englishman is getting himself into the penalty box a lot more than under previous regime, he is taking more shots and having more touches in the box. These are the things that an FPL manager wants from an asset.
Mason Mount in the first 20 matches Vs Mount in the last 5 matches Numbers
- Shots in the box per start- 0.59 vs 1.20
- Big Chances – 1 vs 3
- Touches in the box per start- 3.53 vs 5.20
- Goals- 2 vs 2
Another reason to pick Mount in your teams is the fact that he is likely to be on penalties in the absence of Jorginho. Now that N’golo Kante is fully fit, Jorginho may not necessarily start all games. On top of that, Chelsea have been awarded 8 penalties this season, only Leicester(9) have been awarded more.

Ultra Differential Picks for FPL GW26(<1 % TSB):
Mbaye Diagne vs Brighton(H), Everton(H), TSB: 0.5%, £6.0
West Brom have been a lot better in the last couple of weeks, and potentially have two winnable matches in FPL GW26. One of the reasons for them to play better in recent times is the presence of Diagne. The Senegalese international has 1 goal and 2 assists in 5 matches in FPL.
Despite having 3 attacking returns already, he has underperformed massively. Diagne has had 5 big chances in 5 matches. To put this in perspective, Callum Robinson and Karlan Grant combined have managed 5 big chances all season. Only Timo Werner and Mo Salah have had more BC’s at that time.
Ricardo Pereira vs Arsenal(H), Burnley(A), TSB:0.8%, £5.9
Ricardo is back in the thick of things and may well become a key asset soon. In the absence of James Justin, the Portuguese full back may well start most of the games. What was interesting to note watching Pereira play last weekend against Aston Villa was that he predominantly operated as a right winger.
Leicester City’s defense has been solid all season, they have kept 4 clean sheets in the last 8 matches. The last time Leicester had a double gameweek they did manage to keep two clean sheets.
There is a caveat though. Brendan Rodgers did say that he will have to manage Ricardo’s minutes. Even so, considering the fact that he is playing as an attacker combined with the excellent defense that the Foxes possess, Ricardo is definitely a risk worth taking.
