Back home in England, the Premier League table tightened as Manchester United beat Chelsea, climbing level on points with their city rivals despite already navigating three of last season’s top four. The win adds spice to both the title and top-four races, while also putting United assets back on the FPL radar.

There’s also good news for Crystal Palace fans (and watchful FPL managers) as Ismaïla Sarr edges closer to returning from injury. His pace and directness could reignite Palace’s attack, offering an intriguing mid-priced option once he’s fully fit.

Erling Haaland (£14.3m) – FWD, Man City – 44.0% TSB

The Man City talisman is leading the charts for every metric:

• Shots, Shots on Target, Shots in the Box
• Big Chances, xG, Goals Scored
• xGI, Goal Involvements
• xPts, BPS, Bonus Points, FPL Points

Burnley, meanwhile, are ranked 20th for Shots Conceded, Shots in the Box Conceded, Shots on Target Conceded, NPxGC, and xGC. In other words: the worst possible defence to face Haaland.

Richarlison consistently finds pockets of space in dangerous areas, makes clever runs behind defences, and is clinical when chances come his way. He feels like one of those differentials you regret not jumping on early — when both the numbers and fixtures scream upside.

Mohamed Salah (£14.5m) – MID, Liverpool – 50.8% TSB

He’s the most transferred-out player this week, but let’s check the facts. Salah has blanked only once this season. In the last league meeting with Palace in May, he scored. And when you compare his early-season numbers with previous years, the “decline” looks overblown:

Selling him now is peak recency bias — Salah always finds his way back, and Palace is not the fixture to bet against him.

Pedro Porro (£5.6m) – DEF, Spurs – 24.1% TSB

The second most transferred-out defender this week, but the herd is wrong. Spurs have conceded the second-fewest goals and kept the second-most clean sheets this season. Their next two opponents? Wolves and Leeds — ranked 17th and 19th for xG, and 19th and 17th for goals scored, respectively.

Porro isn’t just a clean sheet magnet, he also carries attacking upside. Selling him now feels like jumping off a rock-solid asset just as fixtures are about to turn gold.

Cole Palmer (£10.4m) – MID, Chelsea – 19.0% TSB

Palmer’s early exit against United wasn’t just drama — it flagged a recurring groin issue. Enzo Maresca admitted he wasn’t fully fit and that his minutes are being managed “day by day.” Reports suggest a 3–6 week layoff is possible if the injury worsens.

Add Chelsea’s congested schedule and Buonanotte pushing for minutes, and Palmer suddenly carries both injury and rotation risk. At £10.4m, he looks like a luxury you can’t afford this week.

Put those together — injury doubt, possible extended absence, and increased rotation risk — and holding Palmer this week carries a lot more risk than reward.
