Gameweek 34 may have just wrapped, but there’s no breather—GW35 is already knocking. And just as managers were bracing for the usual chaos of blank or double gameweeks, the FPL site dropped a bombshell: there will be no additional blank or double gameweeks this season.
Many managers who had been holding onto their chips—waiting for the perfect BGW or DGW—are now scrambling to recalibrate their plans. With barely a day between deadlines, clarity and quick decision-making will be more important than ever.
As FPL enters its home stretch, it’s not just about stars—it’s about stakes, form, and fixtures.

FPL Gameweek 35 Transfer Tips: Players to BUY
Brentford Bravehearts
Bryan Mbeumo (£8.1m) – MID, Brentford – 38.9% TSB
Yoane Wissa (£6.6m) – FWD, Brentford – 15.5% TSB
Mbeumo has returned with a bang: 18 goals, 7 assists, and the 3rd-best xGI among mids this season. On penalties and averaging more than 6 points per match, he’s delivering premium returns at a budget price.
Wissa is the ultimate differential—just 15.5% owned, with 11 goal involvements since January and ranked 1st for xGI in that span. In red-hot form with 27 points in the last 3 games, he’s a fantastic forward pick.
Upcoming Fixtures:
Don’t be surprised if both finish the season with a flurry.

Omar Marmoush (£7.6m) – FWD, Man City – 29.1% TSB
If you’re chasing rank, Marmoush could be the curveball you need.
With Haaland struggling and Marmoush recording 34 points in his last 6 matches, he has emerged as a serious FPL contender. Some managers fear Haaland’s return to training might hurt Marmoush, but data suggests the opposite:
Marmoush averages 7.13 points per 90 with Haaland, and just 4.48 without.
City’s final four are mouth-watering:
City are still chasing Champions League qualification, and Marmoush looks key to that push.

FPL Gameweek 35 Transfer Tips: Two Players to HOLD
Chris Wood (£7.0m) – FWD, Nott’m Forest – 28.3% TSB
The FPL community is jumping ship, but we say: hold the line.
Despite being the 4th most sold unflagged forward this week, Wood has everything going for him:
- 22 G+A from 31 starts
- On penalties, bonus-friendly, and nailed
- Forest are still pushing for Europe and unlikely to rotate
- Dream run of fixtures
Wood remains arguably the best value striker to close out the season.

Matz Sels (£5.1m) – GKP, Nott’m Forest – 19.8% TSB
Sels is the 3rd most sold unflagged goalkeeper, and we can’t understand why.
- Ranks 1st for Clean Sheets and total FPL points among GKs
- Averaged 6.25 points across the reverse fixtures vs his remaining opponents
- Forest’s run-in is excellent, and Sels is nailed with high save potential
Keep the faith—the returns will come.

FPL Gameweek 35 Transfer Tips: Two Players to SELL
Cole Palmer (£10.5m) – MID, Chelsea – 34.7% TSB
It might be time to say goodbye to Palmer—if you haven’t already.
Since GW22, he’s delivered just 34 points. His underlying numbers have dropped, and Chelsea have the worst remaining fixtures in terms of FDR:
Liverpool (H), Newcastle (A), Man United (H), and Forest (A)
With mids like Mbeumo, Bowen, Rogers, and KDB offering more upside, it’s time to reinvest.

Virgil van Dijk (£6.7m) – MID, Liverpool – 26.2% TSB
If you still own VVD, this is the week to sell.
- Liverpool have all but sealed the title—rotation and lack of motivation loom
- Just 1 clean sheet in their last 4
- Liverpool are ranked 19th in FDR:
There are better uses of £6.7m—try NFO’s Milenkovic or Everton’s Branthwaite instead.
VVD isn’t a necessity to sell—but he’s a luxury move if you’ve got a spare transfer or urgently need funds elsewhere.
