FPL GW34 Free Hit Guide
FPL GW34 Fixtures

Players to Target in GW34 Free Hit:

- Goal Keepers: Leno, Sa(if fit), Pope, Sels
- Defenders: Ait Nouri, Robinson, TAA(if fit to start), Sessegnon, Schar/Livramento, Cucurella, VVD/Konate, Kerkez, Milenkovic
- Midfielders: Salah, Diaz, Palmer, Barnes, Murphy, Iwobi, Gibbs White, Mbeumo, Kluivert, Bruno Fernandes, Bowen, Mitoma
- Forwards: Isak, Cunha, Larsen, Evanilson, Wood, Raul Jimenez(if we get news that Muniz is ruled out, else a minutes risk), Jackson(if Tarkowski is ruled out).
Pros of GW34 Free Hit:
- The Teams that are blanking in GW34 are the teams that doubled in GW33. So if you are loaded up on Double Gameweek assets from GW33 or Bench Boost, GW34 Free Hit will be the saviour.
- Helps you field 11 players for the Blank Gameweek instead of taking multiple hits.
- Good fixtures to Target and attack the players who play up against promoted sides that have nothing to play for as well and are relegated.
- Wolves vs Leicester: Ait Nouri, Cunha, Larsen
- Southampton vs Fulham: Leno, Sessegnon, Robinson
- Newcastle vs Ipswich: Isak, Murphy, Barnes, Livramento
- You can get back to your old GW33 Team, which will be heavy on Villa, Manchester City, and Palace assets. These teams could possibly double in GW36 as well.
- Liverpool are up against Tottenham at home, where they could win the Title if they win. Tottenham’s defensive form is also poor. So you can attack with Liverpool Triple up for this week and need not have them going forward- Don’t have anything to play for and don’t have any DGWs.
Cons of GW34 Free Hit:
- Need to navigate the potential DGW36 and BGW37, just with Free Transfers if you use your Free Hit chip now.
Other windows to Play Free Hit:
- GW36: Possible Double Gameweek with 0-4 Teams Doubling due to FA Cup finals.
- GW37: Possible Blank Gameweek with 0-4 Teams Doubling due to FA Cup finals.

- Attacking Draft targeting picks against promoted sides with all the players having a home fixture in GW34.
- Most of these drafts will be targeting teams that play Ipswich, Leicester, and Southampton, as their defensive data is really bad, as seen below. All three teams are ranked in the top three for all the defensive underlying data.
Defense Rank of Promoted Sides:
Defense Rank | Ipswich Town | Leicester City | Southampton |
xGC | 19th | 18th | 20th |
Big Chances Conceded | 18th | 19th | 20th |
Goals Conceded | 18th | 19th | 20th |
- We have gone with Liverpool Attack Double of Salah + Diaz. Liverpool have the opportunity to wrap up the league title vs Spurs at Anfield this weekend, and they will be looking to go all out. They can’t get a better fixture than Tottenham as they are defensively Ranked Bottom for Expected Goals Conceded outside the promoted sides. Salah and Luis Diaz are Liverpool’s best attackers, and there is enough data to back them up as well.
Top Midfielders for Goal Involvement/90 since GW25: (Minimum 500 minutes)
- Barnes- 1.29
- Salah– 1.01
- Luis Diaz– 0.99
- Murphy- 0.92
- Mbeumo- 0.89
- Bruno Fernandes- 0.95
- Next up is the Wolves Double Attack of Larsen + Cunha vs Leicester(H). Larsen has 5 goals from the last 5 games, getting 36 points in the process- Highest among all Forwards during this time. Cunha is back from his suspension and had his first start in the 1-0 win vs Manchester United, and he got an assist, 3 Bonus points. With Cunha on penalties and Leicester having no clue what they are doing(Winless in the last 10 games and not scored a goal in 9/10 games), the double up will be a good differential on FPL GW34 Free Hit.

Larsen Attack Rank among Forwards since GW29:
- Big Chances- 1st
- xG- 3rd
- Goals- 1st
- FPL Points- 1st
- Harvey Barnes and Isak make up the Newcastle attack vs Ipswich. Barnes has returned in each of Newcastle’s last 6 matches with 4 goals, 4 assists, 51 points from the last 6 matches, averaging more than 8 points per game. On the other hand, Isak has been a reliable pick throughout the season, and with Newcastle are pushing for CL spots and out of other competitions as well.

- Palmer has been disappointing with no goals since GW21(11 game run), but we have picked up as it’s a home and he is on penalties as well. Everton are on the beach, but Chelsea have everything to play for(in terms of European places). Tarkowski is also an injury concern for Everton which may work out in favour of Palmer and Chelsea.
- If you are not confident on Palmer, you can go for the likes of Kluivert/Bruno Fernandes/Bowen/Mbeumo- All good picks and Talismans for their respective teams.
- In the defense, we have got attacking defenders like Robinson and Ait Nouri who can get returns on both sides of the pitch and have excellent fixtures- Up against Southampton and Leicester City. All 3 promoted sides are already relegated(Ipswich not yet mathematically) and have found goal scoring difficult throughout the season. Their attack numbers are also not very great.
Attack Rank of Promoted Sides:
Attack Rank | Ipswich Town | Leicester City | Southampton |
xG | 18th | 20th | 19th |
Big Chances | 18th | 20th | 19th |
Goals Scored | 18th | 19th | 20th |
- Ait Nouri and Robinson have the most Goal Involvements among Defenders and have the best fixtures they could ever get. They are attacking wing-backs and could haul big on their day.
Top Defenders for Goal Involvements this season:

- Cucurella is up against Everton as a punt. Even though Chelsea have not been great, Cucurella has been very attacking this season as seen from the heatmap below. He often picks up his spot as a striker in the far post which has made him get 4 goals and 2 assists this season. Everton’s attack form have also declined over the past few weeks as they have got only 5 goals from the last 7 games – Only Leicester City(2) have scored fewer goals in the entire league during this time.

- Sessegnon comes into this Draft as the Ultra-Differential Pick at just £4.1m and 1.0% TSB. He is listed as a Defender, but plays at RW for Fulham. Sessegnon has 3 goals, 2 assists from his last 7 appearances(4 starts), and has also started the last 3/3 games. If you are looking for a cheap differential with good upside, Sessegnon should be one of the Top Picks for GW34. He is getting subbed off as well, which could work out well for some lucky clean sheet points.

- Jose Sa takes up the gloves in this draft to double up on Wolves defense, considering the fact that Leicester City have not managed to score a single goal in 9 of their last 10 matches.
Note: Jose Sa was initially named in the starting line-up for the GW33 fixture vs Manchester United. He had a discomfort during the warm-up and was replaced. So have an eye on the Press Conference news before locking him in your GW34 Free Hit Team.

FPL GW34 Free Hit Draft 3

- With Gordon back from injury, it is expected that minutes will be shared between Gordon, Murphy and Barnes(Only 2 of them starting). Although all 3 are good picks and could deliver big even with reduced minutes, if you want to play it safe, you can go with the Midfield from this draft. Mbeumo, Kluivert, Salah and Bruno Fernandes- All of them are 90-minute players, on penalties and Talismans for their teams and could go really big on their day.
