FPL GW33 Fixtures:
Teams Doubling in GW33:
- Manchester City vs Everton(A), Villa(H)
- Arsenal vs Ipswich(A), Palace(H)
- Aston Villa vs Newcastle(H), Man City(A)
- Crystal Palace vs Bournemouth(H), Arsenal(A)
Note: The above 4 teams that are doubling in GW33 will Blank in GW34 as well. So be prepared for that.
Pros of GW33 Free Hit:
- Can attack the Double Gameweek 33 with 10 Double Gameweek players+ Salah(vs LEI).
- Can have the Newcastle Triple up from GW32 for GW34 vs Ipswich if you are Free Hitting in GW33.
Cons of GW33 Free Hit:
- There is an upcoming Blank Gameweek(GW34) coming up after this where the teams that Double in GW33 Blank in GW34- Arsenal, Man City, Palace and Villa. So we would recommend Free Hit in GW33 if only your original team is well set up for Blank Gameweek 34. i.e, You are in a position to field 10-11 players for GW34 without taking multiple hits.
- In that way, Free Hit can be better for GW34 than GW33 as your original team is already likely to have Palace assets, Marmoush, Gvardiol, Arsenal assets and Villa assets. With a hit or two, you can get to 6-8 DGW players+ Salah for GW33 easily and can Free Hit in GW34.
- Rotation Risk- Not guaranteed minutes for Arsenal and Villa players across the DGW during this busy fixture time

Players to Target in GW33 Free Hit:
- Goal Keepers: Raya, Henderson, Martinez, Ortega(if Ederson is ruled out)
- Defenders: Saliba, Kiwior, Gvardiol, Dias, Munoz, Konsa, Bradley
- Midfielders: Salah, Saka, Merino, Eze, Sarr, Savinho, Foden(if fit), De Bruyne, Rogers, Rashford, Asensio
- Forwards: Marmoush, Mateta, Watkins, Isak, Larsen

FPL GW33 Free Hit Drafts
FPL GW33 Free Hit Draft 1
- The Template GW33 Free Hit Draft with 10 Double Gameweek players + Salah for GW33.
- Arsenal Double Defense with safest picks in Raya+ Saliba– As they are most nailed players in Arsenal defense. Arsenal have the least xGC in the league and have conceded the least goals in the league this season- Just 27 goals conceded from 32 games.
- Saka scored a fantastic team goal vs Real Madrid in the midweek and is back from injury. After 3 consecutive substitute appearances in the league, Saka could get around 120 minutes cross both the games in the Double Gameweek.
- Gvardiol is the safest pick from Manchester City defense as he can play both at CB and LB. Marmoush has 6 goals, 1 assists from 9 starts in the league since signing for Manchester City. With Haaland injured and Marmoush starting up front for Manchester City, he is a certain no-brainer for the upcoming Double Gameweek.
- Kevin De Bruyne has started the last 2 league games and with Foden’s fitness still a concern he could even start both the games in DGW33. He reminded everyone what he can still do with brilliant goal and assist vs Palace in GW32.
- Rogers is the safest and consistent pick from Villa attack. Rogers is also in form with 4 returns from the last 3 league games- 1 goal and 3 assists.
- Started all games he’s been available
- 3rd highest for mins amongst Villa players
- 16 Goals involvements in 31 games
- 3rd Highest for points in the 6 Mil & below price range
- Mateta rounds up the attack despite having a disappointing DGW32 where he scored just 2 points across both the games. You can switch to someone like Watkins if you are willing to take the risk despite the minutes concern.

FPL GW33 Free Hit Draft 2
- This is a slightly differential Draft that throws in Merino ahead of Saka. Obviously Saka is the better pick, but with the tight schedule and Saka just returning from injury there are chances that his minutes are saved up for important Champions league games. Merino is the first choice striker for Arsenal at the moment with injuries to Havertz and Jesus.
FPL GW33 Free Hit Draft 3
- This is one of our favourite FPL GW33 Free Hit Drafts if you are planning to attack.
- Mateta got only a 2 pointer in DGW32, But what was more worrying was the minutes he got. He only managed 45 and 55 minutes across both the games vs Manchester City and Newcastle United. So Mateta is dropped in this draft for someone like Watkins who is a good pick despite the minutes risk.
- You can start Kiwior/Munoz based on how much you trust Arsenal defense and want to double up or not.
- This draft is Differential and very attacking because it has the Villa attack Triple up- Rogers, Rashford and Watkins. Rashford is an exciting differential as he is the first choice penalty taker as confirmed by Emery. Villa are an elite attacking team and even if Rashford and Watkins both get around 120 minutes across the DGW it should be a win.
Emery on the Penalty situation: (After the Southampton game in GW32)

“Calm. We have our penalty shooter and the first one is Marcus Rashford. The second one is Asensio. Third ones are Tielemans, McGinn and Watkins. They are responsible when penalties are coming. We have to accept it and decide for the next match.
Q. Were you annoyed that Asensio took the second penalty as well?
“I think it is normal that his challenge is to get the second one after the first one. It is clear which penalty shooter is first.”
- Ederson was injured in GW32 and was subbed off. If we get confirmed news that he is ruled out for GW33, Ortega is a great option from City defense as you need not worry about rotation.
