FPL GW3 Predicted Lineups
Arsenal
Arsenal GW3 Predicted formation: 4-3-3
Arsenal GW3 Predicted lineup:
David Raya
Timber – Saliba – Gabriel – Calafiori
Merino – Zubimendi – Rice
Madueke – Gyokeres – Martinelli
Notes/Injury Updates:
- Bukayo Saka has been ruled out for up to 4 weeks with a hamstring injury. This means that he is likely to miss out till GW4/GW5 atleast.

Arteta on Saka: “Bukayo is doing better, but he will be out for a few weeks, unfortunately,” the boss said at the Sobha Realty Training Centre.
“No surgery, it’s not as bad as the previous one. Very unfortunate to pick it up because it’s on the other side. It’s an action that requires full power from him. Then, he clashed with the opponent; he needed to change pace again, and he felt something. So he will be out for a couple of weeks.”
Odegaard injury update:
- Odegaard had a shoulder injury in the first half and is a doubt for GW3.
- Arteta on Odegaard: “We don’t know yet. He hasn’t trained yet, and if he does, it will be tomorrow. He’s doing everything he can, we’re doing everything that we can to make him available, but we’ll have to wait and see tomorrow.”
- However Odegaard has been named in Norway’s squad for their upcoming fixtures despite his shoulder injury concern from the weekend. If he is ruled out, Merino could take his place.
Arteta on Havertz injury:
“I think it will be weeks, but I don’t know how many months,” “Very unfortunate, very sad for him. He did tremendously well to recover from the previous one; he’d never had an injury before, and suddenly this happens. But this is our profession, our football, we need to live with that.
“We lost another big player for many, many weeks, but it [surgery] was the right thing to do. The doctors advised and I think he was very convinced at the end that it was the quickest and the best way to resolve that issue.”
- White started GW1 vs Manchester United and was subbed off at 71 minutes. White was also not seen in the open training on Wednesday. Arteta told “let’s see” when asked about White’s availability before GW2. White didn’t make the squad for GW2.
- Arteta on White and Norgaard(Pre GW3): “That’s another two that we don’t know yet. Again, tomorrow we have another day, let’s see how they evolve, and there’s a chance to keep them involved in the game.”
- Gabriel Jesus was back in training.
- Eze also trained with the Arsenal after his transfer but it is unlikely that he starts straight away and will likely come on as a sub.
