Top FPL GW30 Differential Picks(<10% TSB)

Jean Phillipe Mateta – Crystal Palace – £7.5 Forward – 5.9 % TSB

FPL GW30 Differential Picks- Mateta
  • Mateta returned to action in the FA Cup Quarter Final victory against Fulham and played 70+ minutes. He faces rock bottom Southampton, Brighton and then a Double in Gameweek 32 and another possible Double in Gameweek 33 as well. This could make him a must have forward very soon. Better to get him when he is lowly owned and plays against the worst team in the League.
  • Mateta was playing like a Premium asset between Gameweek 20-28 where he scored 8 Goals and had 1 Assist. He was 1st for Goals scored, Goal Involvement, 2nd for xG, xA  and xGI and 2nd for FPL Points among Forwards in this period. Mateta’s stats are also great throughout the season with 25 Shots on Target, 43 Shots in the Box and 54 Shots. He has got 25 Big Chances and created 7 Big Chances for his teammates.
  • Southampton are rock bottom for all the defensive metrics in the League where they are Bottom for Shots conceded, Shots in the Box conceded, Shots on Target conceded, xGC and Big Chances conceded. Southampton concede an average of nearly three goals per game. They’ve allowed the most shots in the league from their centre. They’re also the worst in the league at defending set-pieces. Mateta should be in prime position to get a big haul in this fixture.

Savinho – Manchester City – £6.2 Midfielder – 2.7 % TSB

FPL GW30 Differential Picks- Savinho
  • Having started all of City’s last 6 Gameweeks in the League, Savio is becoming an integral part of the City team. Savinho has already racked up 10 Assists this season and his biggest haul came against the same opposition, when he scored 14 FPL Points. Leicester have also conceded the most chances from their left wing in the League and this is where Savinho is likely to operate. Expecting another big haul.
  • Savinho has decent Goal threat too with 18 Shots on Target, 29 Shots in the Box and 5 Big Chances. He has only scored 1 Goal but could add to that this Gameweek. He has been more dominant creatively with 10 Big Chances created and 37 key passes played for his team-mates.
  • Leicester are ranked in the Bottom 3 for Shots conceded, Shots in the Box conceded, Shots on Target conceded, xGC and Big Chances conceded. They are conceding an average of 2.67 goals per game and City should smell blood in this fixture and go for the jugular.

Top Midfielders for Assists per 90 in Premier League this season:

  • Saka- 0.78
  • De Bruyne- 0.65
  • Salah- 0.59
  • Savinho– 0.57
  • Son- 0.48
  • Gibbs White- 0.44

Eberechi Eze – Crystal Palace -£6.7 Midfielder – 8.3 % TSB

FPL GW30 Differential Picks- Eze
  • Could the final quarter of the season belong to this man? Things certainly loom on the up as he scored his 1st goal for England in the International Break and then scored a peach of a Goal in the FA Cup Quarterfinal.  He will certainly be full of confidence going up against the worst team in the League. Eze actually has the 6th highest number of shots in the League (83) and they have come at a quicker rate than anyone in the League (every 23.2 minutes). The only problem is his conversion rate which is 2.4 per cent. Now that he has got his confidence back, expect Eze to up his game very soon.
  • Eze has great stats this season with 21 Shots on Target, 34 Shots in the Box and 7 Big Chances. He has created 9 Big Chances for his teammates and played 49 Key passes. He is also good for Bonus whenever he gets an attacking return in a tight game.
Eze could be a great shout this Gameweek.

Note: Palace have a Confirmed Double in GW32 and are likely to get a Double in GW33 as well. They will be the only team to have 2 back-to-back Doubles from now till the end of the season. Getting them early in GW30 with SOU(A) fixture as an entry point could be a great move.

Jarrod Bowen – West Ham – £7.6 Midfielder – 9.9 % TSB

FPL GW30 Differential Picks- Bowen
  • Since his return from injury, Bowen has 2 Goals and 2 Assists in the Last 6 Gameweeks. West Ham have impressed defensively as per the eye test but Bowen got into some really advanced positions last Gameweek against Everton. Despite having a mediocre season by his standards, Bowen has 7 Goals and 7 Assists this season. Bowen also scored in the reverse fixture.
  • Bowen’s stats are impressive with 25 Shots on Target, 42 Shots in the Box and 10 Big Chances. He has created 7 Big Chances and played 41 key passes for his team-mates. Bowen is on penalties and Wolves have conceded the joint most penalties this season.
  • Wolves tend to concede a lot of Big Chances and a lot of Shots. Their xGC at home is even worse compared to their away xGC. Wolves are poor at defending set-pieces and Bowen being the main goal threat for West Ham should get enough chances in this game. He is also surprisingly good in the air for his size.

FPL GW30 Ultra Differentials (Under 1 % Ownership)

Maxence Lacroix – Crystal Palace – £4.5 Defender – 0.9 % TSB

FPL GW30 Differential Picks- Lacroix
  • Southampton have scored the fewest goals in the League and are ranked in the Bottom 3 for all attacking metrics such as Shots, Shots in the Box, Shots on Target, Big Chances and xG. Palace have kept 5 Clean Sheets between Gameweek 20-28 which is the highest in the League, over that period. They are also in the Top 4 for Big Chances and xGC conceded which shows how defensively tight they have become recently.
  • Southampton are ranked worst in the League for attempts conceded from Set pieces and are in the Bottom 9 for Headed attempts. With Eze taking set pieces, a bullet header could be going in goal in this Match. Lacroix has already scored 1 Goal and got 2 Assists this season. He has had 5 Shots on Target and 19 Shots in the Box. Lacroix is ranked 5th for xG among Defenders.

Abdukodir Khusanov – Manchester City – £5.0 Defender – 0.6 % TSB

FPL GW30 Differential Picks- Khusanov
  • Manchester City will face Leicester in FPL Gameweek 30, a side who are bottom of the league for xG and second bottom for goals scored. The Foxes have failed to score in each of their last 6 Premier League games, and looking further back have not scored in 8 out of 9 of their last league matches. They are not a good attacking side and City’s possession based style should help extend Leicester’s dire goalless run.
  • Leicester also are terrible at defending set-pieces and headed attempts. Khusanov could pose a threat from corners and could get his first attacking return of the season in this game. Khusanov is also quite cheap for a nailed City defender and could stand to profit from City’s great fixture run to close the season.

Note: City are also likely to DOUBLE in GW33 vs EVE(A), AVL(H) and could potentially Double in GW36 as well vs SOU(A), BOU(H) if they reach the FA Cup finals. So Khusanov coud be an excellent option for both these Doubles if you are on FH34 strategy where City are likely to blank.

That’s it for Gameweek 30. We will be back with 6 More Differentials next Gameweek where we will be hoping to get some positive returns from our current selected Differentials for Gameweek 30.
