FanTeam PL Final Sprint Mini Season Game Prize Pool

The Fanteam PL Final Sprint Mini Season Game has a minimum £20,000 prize pool. There are cash prizes for the Top 10% finishers overall.

Format:

• The budget is only 85 million but you need to pick only 11 players and not 15 players like in FPL.
• The game also offers a wildcard to use in the nine gameweeks, you’ll be able to have unlimited transfers during the week you have the chip active.
• The captaincy is similar to FPL, with the captain earning 2X points each week, and the vice-captain comes into play only if your captain doesn’t play.
• You can choose only three players from one team.
• The game also offers safety net which makes the game interesting as it allows you to take more risks, if a player that you select doesn’t start, they’ll be automatically replaced by a player from the same team and position of equal or lower value if an option exists.
• Ex: You pick Foden in your team and he doesn’t start, in this case, another Man City midfielder(Should be of equal or lower price) starting in the playing 11 will replace Foden in your team. By default, the player that is closest in price will be chosen.

Rules:

• The fanteam deadline is at the kick-off of the first game/s each week, so you’ll be able to look at lineups of the first game/s of a gameweek.
• The transfers you make during a gameweek are provisional and will only take effect after the gameweek deadline so you can revert changes until the deadline and you’ll not be punished for making early moves.
• Each week you’ll have three free transfers, you can’t roll transfers from one week and any extra transfer will cost four points each.

Tips/Strategy for the Fanteam PL Final Sprint Mini Season Game

• The final sprint game will be running during double and blank gameweeks so plan your team for it
  • GW32 is already a confirmed double with Newcastle & Crystal Palace playing twice
  • GW34 is a blank gameweek with the confirmed blanks known before the April 1st Fanteam deadline so you can plan accordingly
  • The gameweek 34 blanks will also result in doubles in GW33/36 as well
• Three free transfers each week gives you a golden opportunity to target the best fixtures each week, target teams that play against Leicester City, Southampton, and Ipswich
• Load up on Palace assets as they play Southampton in GW30 and will also double in GW32
• GW38 will have all teams playing at the same time, the fanteam deadline is at kick-off so you can look at the lineups of all 20 teams and then make your moves.
