Top FPL GW23 Differential Picks(<10% TSB)
Cody Gakpo – Liverpool – £7.5 Forward – 9.8% TSB
- Gakpo has started the last 10 League Games for Liverpool and has got 5 Goals and 1 Assist in that time. He has the same number of points as Alexander Arnold among Liverpool players and is the joint 2nd highest point scorer after Salah in this period. Gakpo has had 27 Shots in the Box, 14 Shots on Target and has got 8 Big Chances. Creativity wise he has played 28 Key passes and created 5 Big Chances.
Gakpo stats since GW13:
Only Wood(66) and Isak(88) have more FPL Points among Forwards since GW13.
- Starts– 9/9
- Shots– 23
- Shots inside the box– 17
- xG– 3.49
- Big Chances– 7
- xGI– 5.3 (5th among Forwards)
- Goal Involvements– 6 (Joint 3rd among FWDs)
- FPL Points– 48 (Joint 3rd among FWDs)
- Ipswich are ranked in the Top 5 For Shots conceded, Shots in the Box conceded and Shots on Target conceded and Goals conceded. They are also in the Bottom 2 for xGC and Big Chances conceded. Liverpool have the best attacking stats in the League and an attacking player besides Salah could be a great double up to target this game.

Allison Becker – Liverpool – £5.5 Goalkeeper – 7.8% TSB
- Liverpool have conceded the least amount of Shots, Shots in the Box and Shots on Target in the League so far. They have conceded the Least amount of Goals and xG in the League and have kept the joint most Clean Sheets so far. Ipswich’s xG is the lowest in the League and have scored the 3rd fewest Goals in the League. Their stats for Shots on Target, Shots in the Box rank in the Bottom 3 in the League. Allison could do quite well in this game.
- Allison is the best defensive option after Trent & Van Dijk as Konate’s injury record is not the best. Allison also comes up with Big saves in most games and is always in a chance to get bonus if Liverpool play a tight game. Don’t rule out an assist for Salah over the top of everyone’s heads as he has done that before quite a few times.
Top Goal Keepers for Bonus Points System(BPS) Score per 90 minutes: (Minimum 10 apps)
- Alisson Becker– 17.32
- Vicario- 15.42
- Sels- 15.18
- Pickford- 15.00

Jacob Murphy – Newcastle – £5.1 Midfielder – 5.1 % TSB
- Murphy has 8 attacking returns in the last 8 Games and is in good form. He has decent stats with 8 Shots on Target, 15 Shots in the Box and 5 Big Chances. He has played 23 Key passes and created 9 Big chances for his teammates. Add to the fact that only Liverpool have better attacking stats than Newcastle in recent matches.

- Southampton have the worst defence in the league. They have the worst home xGC by a considerable amount and have conceded an average of 2.70 goals per game at home. They have also conceded the most Big Chances and Shots in the Box in the League. Expect Newcastle to run riot this week after losing last week’s game to Bournemouth.

Eberechi Eze – Crystal Palace – £6.7 Midfielder – 9.1 % TSB
- Brentford lie in the Bottom 5 for Shots, Shots in the Box, Shots on Target and xGC conceded. They also have conceded the second most shots in the league from their centre and right and also conceded the third most shots in the box. Those are the Mateta and Eze zones and they could profit in this fixture.
- Eze looks to be in top form since his return from injury with 3 Assists and 1 Goal in his last 4 Matches. He has not blanked in this time and is finally showing some output in comparison to his great stats this season. He has had 18 Shots on Target, 26 Shots in the Box, and 7 Big Chances. He has created 7 Big chances for his teammates and played 36 key passes.
Key Stat: Only Salah(25), and Palmer(18) have more Shots than Eze(17) among Midfielders over the last 5 Gameweeks.

Son Heung Min – Tottenham – £9.8 Midfielder – 5 % TSB
- Spurs play a Leicester side which has conceded the 2nd most Goals in the League and the 3rd worst xGC so far. Leicester are also in the Bottom 3 for Shots, Shots in the Box and Shots on Target conceded so far in the League. They have also the last 7 League Games and have conceded 2+ goals in every fixture while only scoring two goals total.
- With Solanke injured, there is a chance that Son could play as the Central striker with Richarlison just returning from injury. Son will hope to add to his 6 Goals and 6 Assists that he has managed so far this season and has had decent stats with 25 Shots in the Box and 21 Shots on Target and 10 Big chances. He has also created 12 Big Chances and played 33 Key passes for his teammates this season.

FPL GW23 Ultra Differential Pick(<1% TSB):
Jesper Lindstrom – Everton – £5.0 Midfielder – 0.1 % TSB
- Moyes was full of praise for Lindstrom after the Spurs victory and lauded his effort & grit when he played as an attack minded Wing-Back. Despite Lindstrom only starting 8 Games and not having any Goal and Assist so far, he actually has nice stats for an Everton player with 8 Shots on Target, 11 Shots in the Box, 5 Big Chances created and playing a part in 23 Key passes.
Lindstrom vs Tottenham in GW22:
- Minutes- 69
- Shots- 1
- Chances Created – 4
- Big Chances created– 2
- xA- 0.48
With a Double Gameweek coming up, he could be a brave punt for anyone wanting to go for an Everton midfielder. Lindstrom is also on corners for Everton as he took all 3 corners for Everton. With Tarkowski and Branthwaite attacking corners, A Linstrom assist from a set-piece might also be on cards.
Moyes about Lindstrom after the Spurs game:
“Jesper did well today too. I actually thought Jesper had an influence in a lot of the goals today. I thought he did a really good job as well.
“I remember him really well [when I played against him while manager of West Ham] against Eintracht Frankfurt and he was a really talented footballer. I thought today he was quite impressive in what he did. We didn’t want him to be an out-and-out wing-back, we wanted Jake sometimes to be right-back and on the build, a bit wider, so we tried to get Jesper in two or three different roles – but I thought defensively for us he did a pretty good job as well. I think he showed a little bit of grit about his game.”
That’s it for Gameweek 23. We will be back with 6 More Differentials next Gameweek where we will be hoping to get some positive returns from our current selected Differentials for Gameweek 23.
