GW10 was extremely absorbing. 9 players gave double-digit returns in Gameweek 10. If you think you’re unlucky that you didn’t own any of them, think again.
Players | GW10 | GW9 |
Solanke | 16 | 2 |
Aina | 15 | 2 |
Wilson | 13 | 1 |
Kerkez | 10 | 2 |
Semenyo | 10 | 1 |
Davis | 10 | 2 |
B. Fernandes | 10 | 2 |
Hudson-Odoi | 10 | 2 |
J. Gomes | 10 | 2 |
So, it was not your misfortune but rather an outcome that mostly could not have been predicted. With these unexpected results behind us, it’s time to assess the shifting form and fixtures as we gear up for Gameweek 11. So, let’s start with our BUY-HOLD-SELL article for this GW, sponsored by …. Well, nobody. We are poor, but you can help here if you want 😊

FPL Gameweek 11 Transfer Tips: Two Players to BUY
Bruno Fernandes (£8.2m) – MID, Man Utd – 8.2% TSB
In the last 3 GWs, among midfielders, Bruno is ranked:
- 1st for Big Chances
- 1st for xG
- 1st for xGI
- 1st for Key Passes
- 1st for Big Chances Created
- 1st for xPts
- 2nd for Shots
- 2nd for BPS
- 3rd for Bonus Points
- 3rd for Goal Involvements
- 4th for Shots in the Box
- 4th for FPL Points
His next 3 fixtures are extremely enticing, two of which will be under new boss Amorim (new manager bounce, anyone?) whose attacking play at Sporting has got the football world’s attention.
Hence Bruno should be your priority signing No.1.

Mohamed Salah (£12.8m) – MID, Liverpool – 45.3% TSB
The evergreen FPL king, the Egyptian pharaoh, the Merseyside magician—Salah returns as the most coveted asset in FPL.
Among midfielders, Salah is ranked
- 1st for Shots on Target
- 1st for Big Chances
- 1st for xG
- 1st for xGI
- 1st for Goal Involvements
- 1st for xPts
- 1st for Bonus Points
- 1st for FPL Points
- 2nd for Goals
- 2nd for Assists
- 2nd for Shots in the Box
- 2nd for BPS
Salah faces Aston Villa at home in GW11. No other top-10 team has conceded more goals than Aston Villa, whose only clean sheet came against a goal-shy Man Utd. In the same fixture last season, Salah found the scoresheet, and given his record—especially at home—I wouldn’t bet against another big haul for the Egyptian.

FPL Gameweek 11 Transfer Tips: Two Players to HOLD
Luis Díaz (£7.7m) – MID, Liverpool – 25.0% TSB
Diaz is the most transferred-out midfielder for this GW, having scored only 10 points in the last 5 games. The bigger concern, however, is that he started only 2 of those 5 matches. On Tuesday, Liverpool smashed Bayer Leverkusen 4-0, with Luis Diaz scoring a hat-trick, after which Slot described Diaz as ‘a starter.’ With Diogo Jota ruled out until the end of November, Díaz’s minutes look secure. I suggest holding onto Díaz for the upcoming home game against a defensively struggling Villa side

Erling Haaland (£15.3m) – FWD, Man City – 68.1% TSB
The most transferred-out player this week is none other than the robot, the Nordic god, the costliest player in FPL. The frustration is understandable—with just 1 goal in the last 5 games, that price tag feels like a luxury not many can afford, especially with Salah firing.
However, even in this lean period, Haaland’s underlying stats remain impressive:
- 1st for Shots
- 1st for Shots on Target
- 1st for Shots in the Box
- 1st for Big Chances
- 1st for xG
His GW11 opponents, Brighton, have conceded 10 goals in the last 5 games. So, I’d suggest holding onto Haaland… maybe for one last time.

FPL GW11 Transfer Tips: Two Players to SELL
Dominic Calvert-Lewin (£5.9m) – FWD, Everton – 4.1% TSB
Take a look at these fixtures, and guess how many points DCL would have scored in this run of fixtures.
He scored 11 points, averaging less than 2 points per game. Calling his performance disappointing would be an understatement.
With chief creator McNeil likely ruled out for GW11, I suggest reallocating DCL’s budget to Wissa or Jiménez.

Eberechi Eze (£6.6m) – MID, Crystal Palace – 9.7% TSB
Eze has been a story of extreme disappointment for owners this season. While the absence of Olise was expected to have some impact, few could have anticipated the magnitude of the void and its effect on Eze.
Oliver Glasner: “We suffer with several injuries. Franca and Riad still out. Wharton and Eze. Lerma and Nketiah. Hughes suspended. Quite a tight squad”
He went 5 games with consecutive blanks before finally providing an assist against Spurs. Just as owners began hoping for a turnaround, he got injured and missed GW10. Now, he’s confirmed out for GW11 as well.
Therefore, I recommend selling Eze.
