FPL GW26 Transfer Targets
Pau Torres AVL Β£4.6
Projected Points GW26-31: 20.9
Pau Torres finally made his return from injury after 4 GWs and played all 90 minutes. Torres is a great defensive pick going into GW26 and should be on our watchlist as he allows managers the flexibility to cover both blank GWs 26 and 29 and allows you to save chips for later down the line. Aston Villa have the 4th easiest defensive fixtures over the next six GWs, giving Pau Torres decent probabilities for a clean sheet. Torres has also shown some attacking threat with a 0.08 xGI and scoring 2 goals.
Itβs not the sexiest or most upside pick, but itβs one of the safest picks for expected minutes in the upcoming GWs, which a lot of managers are struggling to field a starting 11, which makes Torres a great player to have on our watchlist.
Pau Torres is also integral to Aston Villaβs defence, Aston Villa have won 13 out of the 17 games in which Pau has started(Only 2 draws and 2 defeats).

Hee-Chan Hwang WOL Β£5.5
Projected Points GW26-31: 29.0
The biggest winners of Brightonβs trashing of Sheffield were none of the players in that game. The biggest winner of Brighton vs. Sheffield was Wolves midfield Hee-Chan Hwang, as managers salivated over the idea of him playing against that porous Sheffield defense. Hwang is a great pick, as he has 13 attacking returns in just 18 starts.
Hwang also has good underlying stats with a 0.50 xGI per 90 minutes which is great for price and should be boosted as he also is likely to have penalties in the absence of Cunha. With the 5th easiest fixtures over the upcoming six GWs, likely on penalties, and playing up front in the absence of Cunha, Hwang is a great pick to bring in this GW and have on our watchlists.
Stat attack: Hwang has the most big chances(12) amongst Wolves assets so far this season despite missing a few games due to the Asian Cup. Heβs also their top scorer with 10 goals in the PL so far this season. In fact amongst midfielders priced 7.5 Million or lower only two other players have scored 10 goals(Palmer and Richarlison)

Dom Solanke BOU Β£6.9
Projected Points GW26-31: 37
With 3 attacking returns since a lot of managers sold him 2 GWs ago, Solanke has reminded us how good of an FPL asset he is. Solanke is a player I would immediately bring back as he has a guaranteed fixture this GW and one of the best double GWs you will ever see on paper in GW28 against Sheffield United and Luton, both at home.
Bournemouth also have the easiest attacking fixtures over the upcoming 6 GWs, which raises the ceiling for Solanke. With great underlying stats for his price (0.65 xGI), on penalties, and great fixtures, the Solanke non-owners need to have him back on their watchlist and team.
