FPL GW9 Transfer Targets
Trent Alexander-Arnold LIV Β£7.9
Projected Points GW9-15: 33.7
I know Trent Alexander Arnold is too expensive and not producing at the moment. These were the same things managers were saying about Trippier 3 GWs ago. In FPL, pedigree matters, and managers who are struggling at the moment should look at Alexander-Arnold as a massive differential in the upcoming GWs. TAAβs underlying stats are down this season with a 0.17 xGI per 90 minutes, but with the upcoming easier schedule, that should tick up. Liverpool have the 5th easiest schedule over the next six GWs (Which includes a tough fixture against Manchester City). Last season, Liverpool went on a run of clean sheets once their fixtures turned around GW20, so taking a risk on the same happening this season with such a high-upside player like TAA could shoot managers up the ranks.
Liverpool have managed only one clean sheet from 8 games this season. But it is to be noted that they have played Brighton, Tottenham, Villa, Newcastle and Chelsea during this period. In the upcoming seven games, they play Everton, Forest, Luton, Fulham, Sheffield where there are more clean sheet chances and also attacking returns from Trent!

Jarrod Bowen WHU Β£7.3
Projected Points GW9-15: 33.4
With 3 goals in his last 5 league matches, Jarrod Bowen should be on everyoneβs watchlist as the West Ham midfielder has some great fixtures in the upcoming GWs. West Ham has the 5th easiest schedule for attackers over the next six GWs, which is perfect for a player with a high ceiling like Bowen. Bowenβs underlying stats are decent, with a 0.54 xGI (0.45 xG) per 90 minutes this season showing his explosive capabilities. Managers with underperforming midfielders, such as Manchester United midfielders, Mbeumo, etc, should look at Bowen as he will be a popular pick in the coming weeks. With good fixtures and a high upside pedigree, it puts Bowen on my watchlist.
Bowen- Attacking Rank among Midfielders this season:
- Shots inside the box- 2nd
- Big Chances- 1st
- Goals- 2nd
- Expected Goals- 4th
- FPL Points- 4th

Darwin Nunez LIV Β£7.4
Projected Points GW9-15: 25.8
Ahh, old reliable Darwin is back on the watchlist as Liverpoolβs fixtures are turning favorable, and including a second Liverpool attacker alongside Salah is a great high-upside idea. Liverpool has the easiest schedule for attackers over the next six GWs, giving their players a massive ceiling in the upcoming GWs. When Nunez plays, he is one of the best Liverpool attackers, with a massive 0.94 xGI per 90 minutes, showing just how high his ceiling can be. There is a worry Darwin might be rested for GW9 due to his return from South America from the International Break, so managers looking to bring Darwin in need monitor whether Darwin will start. We know how much of a troll Darwin can be, but with those fixtures and underlying stats, managers willing to put up with his missed Big Chances should add Darwin to their watchlist.
