FPL GW35 Scout Picks
FPL GW35 Scout Picks- Goalkeeper
Emi Martinez is our goalkeeper in our scout picks this week, in the last five games Aston Villa have conceded only an xGC of 4.85 which is the 2nd best in the league during the period and they also have a 33% odds of a clean sheet against Wolves this week. Meanwhile, Wolves have created only an xG of 5.11 in the last six games which is the 2nd lowest in the league during the period.

FPL GW35 Scout Picks- Defenders
Alexander Arnold has 6 assists from the last 6 games which is the highest among all players during this time. His 7 Big Chances created, xA- 3.16 is Top among Defenders and 2nd overall only behind Bruno Fernandes. Clean Sheets are just a bonus for TAA who is likely to get an attacking return every single game.
Estupinan is the next pick among defenders. Brighton did keep two cleansheets from 2 games in DGW34 and Estupinan returned with a mammoth 16 point haul. His underlying numbers in terms of attack was really good and he could have got more than one assist- xGI of 1.1 and 2 Big Chance Involvements. He is one of the most attacking defenders in the league at the moment as his 42 touches in the opposition box since the World Cup is better than the likes of TAA, Robertson, Trippier, etc.
Dias is possibly the most nailed City Defender at the moment with 12/12 starts in the last 12 league games and completed 90 minutes in all these matches. City have conceded an xGC of 3.9 over the last 6 games which is the best in the league. They have been unlucky with just 1 CS to show off from these 6 matches. Leeds have conceded 28 goal attempts from set-pieces over the last 6 matches which is the 5th highest among all teams during the same period. Maybe a Dias header is also coming soon!

FPL GW35 Scout Picks- Midfielders
Salah against Brentford(H) is a great pick, possibly a great captaincy option as well if Haaland does not start. He has been in excellent form in recent averaging more than 8 points/game over the last 5 matches. Most of his underlying numbers are Top among Midfielders and 2nd overall only behind Haaland.
Salah Attack Rank since GW31
- Shots– 15(Joint 1st overall)
- Shots inside the Box– 14(2nd overall)
- Big Chances– 5(3rd overall, 1st among mids)
- xG– 3.04(3rd overall, 1st among mids)
- FPL Points– 41(2nd overall, 1st among mids)
Mitoma was very unlucky not to score against Man United with the Brighton attacker registering an xG of 0.67 which included a big chance missed. He was very lively as always which can be seen from his heatmap against Man United.
Brighton will look to continue their push for a European spot and are one of the in-form teams in the Premier League at the moment. Since GW29 no team has had more big chances(27) and a higher xG(18.37) than Brighton. Mac Allister just edges out March for the final Brighton slot with penalties in our FPL GW35 Scout Picks.
Rashford was unlucky not to score against Brighton in their 1-0 defeat on Thursday night but he’ll be looking to go once again against West Ham this week and has an excellent matchup with West Ham conceding heavily from their right flank in the last six games which is where Rashford will operate. In the last three games since his return from injury, he has registered an xG of 2.18 which is the 2nd best in the league, only behind Haaland.
In the last six games, no team has conceded more xGC than West Ham(11.51), their 18 big chances conceded is also the 3rd most during the period, averaging 3 big chances conceded in one game.
West Ham Zone-wise chances conceded in the last 6 games:
Left flank | Centre | Right flank |
11 | 12 | 20 |
The Man United star already has 194 FPL points and will be looking to cross the 200 FPL points landmark for the first time in his career.

FPL GW35 Scout Picks- Forwards
Julian Alvarez is an exciting option in this week’s scouts picks. The Man City attacker started both games in the double and is expected to start against Leeds as well. Leeds concede heavily through their centre which is where he’ll operate giving him a great matchup.
Leeds Zone-wise chances conceded in the last 6 games:
Left flank | Centre | Right flank |
24 | 21 | 14 |
In the two games in DGW34, Alvarez had 5 shots, 4 shots on target, an xGI of 1.1, one big chance, one goal, and an assist. His xG of 0.93 in the two games was the 2nd highest amongst Man City attackers only behind Haaland(1.68). Do check out our FPL GW35 Differentials blog where Alvarez is discussed in detail.
Kane has a great game in GW35 at home against Palace, the Spurs forward has failed to score or assist only once in the last eight games registering 7 goals and 2 assists during the period. He’s also the highest-scoring player during the period with 62 FPL points. Historically, Kane has a great record vs Palace with 10 goals, 5 assists from 17 games in Premier League.
Haaland doesn’t need a lot of explanation, the Man City forward scored against West Ham in the midweek game to become the highest-scoring player in a PL season with a whopping 35 goals scored already this season. Although there are concerns over his minutes this week with a UCL semi-final game against Real Madrid coming up, we fully expect him to start against Leeds, even if he’s benched he could come in as a sub and haul big. Pep has also not rotated heavily this season which bodes well for us FPL managers and did emphasis on the Leeds game as an important game in the pre-game press conference.
