FPL GW26 Scout Picks

Stats from Fantasy Football Scout

FPL GW26 Scout Picks- Goalkeeper

FPL GW26 Scout Picks- Goalkeeper

Chelsea have not been in the best of forms. But Kepa is second for FPL points among Goal keepers since the World Cup break with 49 points from 10 games including 2 Double Digit hauls. In fact, Chelsea’s defense have been good. Chelsea have conceded just 9 Big chances in the league since the World Cup- which is the second best among all teams.

Chelsea will be without Thiago Silva in GW26, but expect them to keep a clean sheet vs Leeds who have ranked 20th for Big Chances and 18th for Goals scored since the World Cup.

FPL GW26 Scout Picks Defenders

FPL GW26 Scout Picks Defenders

Zinchenko is the Top pick among Defenders. Arsenal did not have a cleansheet from the last 5 games prior to the Double Gameweek, but they got their form back with 2 clean sheets from 2 games in DGW25. Arsenal’s GW26 opponent Bournemouth have just scored 4 goals from the last 10 games in Premier League which is the lowest among all teams since the World Cup break. Zinchenko is also not shying away from taking a shot. Among defenders, Zinchenko is ranked 2nd for Shots(14) since the World Cup break.

Estupinan has 36 points from the last 5 games returning in every game including 3 assists to his name which is the highest among defenders since the WC. Estupinan missed the midweek FA cup game due to injury, but is confirmed fit for GW26. Brighton also have two Confirmed Double Gameweeks in GW27 and GW29 which makes Estupinan a solid choice.

Ben Mee is the final pick among defenders who is always a good ariel threat. Mee and Brentford have been on a roll since the World Cup. In fact they are undefeated, have conceded the 2nd least goals(5), have the 2nd best xGC(8.76) during this period- Only behind Newcastle. Brentford are the only team to have 6 games from the next 4 Gameweeks with 2 Doubles in GW27, GW29 and also a fixture in the GW28 blank week. This makes Mee a good pick till GW29.

Bukayo Saka is in excellent form having returned in 8 out of the last 11 games fetching 6 goals, 3 assists in the process. Confirmed Fixture in GW28 Blank Gameweek makes him an excellent captain option this week as well as in GW28. So its not too late to get him in your teams. Saka takes up the arm band in your FPL GW26 Scout Selection team.

Matchup alert-

Bournemouth have conceded 81 chances from their Left flank this season which is the second highest among all team. This is where in the in-form Saka exactly operates. In GW25, Foden was playing in the same position against Bournemouth and got 1 goal, 1 assist for 13 points. He looked lively on the eye test and could have had more. There is a clear weakness for Bournemouth on the wing where Saka operates and could haul massively in GW26.

Teams sorted by Chances conceded from Left Flank this season

No surprises, Rashford makes the Scout Picks team. Rashford is in “The form of his life”. He has failed to score in only one game since GW17 and has 10 goals(Highest), 2 assists, 89 FPL points(Highest) from 10 games during this period averaging close to 9 points per game. His GW26 opponent Liverpool have conceded 31 big chances since the World Cup break which is the second highest in the league.

Martinelli was sold by plenty of FPL managers around GW23/GW24 due to a rotation risk. But he has punished his sellers with 4 goals from last 3 games including a massive 26 point Haul in GW25. With Nketiah an injury concern for GW26, the in-form Martinelli should start another game and should fancy his chances against a Bournemouth side who have conceded 16 goals(3rd highest) since GW17.

Solly March rounds up the midfield. March has 5 goals, 2 assists, 61 points from 8 games since the restart averaging 7.62 points/game. This is not luck as his underlying numbers are also too good. Since GW20, Solly March has created 1.4 Big chances/90 which is the Highest in the league. Spurs, Everton, Brentford, West Ham, Fulham, Leeds, Forest, Villa, Bournemouth, Wolves, Palace, Southampton- All teams have less Big chances created/90 than March during the same time.

West Ham are ranked 4th worst for chances conceded down the Left flank since the World Cup. This could work in favour of March.

Ivan Toney should be one of the Top Players to Target ahead of GW26 due to the amazing fixture run for Brentford. Toney has 14 goals, and 3 assists from 21 games and is the third highest forward in the game only behind Haaland and Kane. Do check this thread where we explain why Toney could haul against a Palhinha less Fulham side in GW26 and is a great option till GW29.

Harry Kane is up against Wolves in GW26. With just 6 blanks from 25 games this season, he can be consistently relied upon to deliver the goods. 24 attacking returns from 25 games should make him as a no-brainer if you are on a GW26 Wildcard with Spurs confirmed to have a fixture in GW28 as well.

Haaland with 27 goals from 23 PL games does not need any explanation and he rounds up the FPL GW26 Scout Picks. City have been more direct and attacking at home since the World Cup as well. Not to forget that Haaland is totally a different beast in home games.
