FPL GW24 Scout Picks- Goalkeeper

Kepa vs Southampton(H) is a no-brainer in GW24 Scout selection. Since GW17, Kepa has the most FPL points(46), most Bonus points(10) among all the keepers in the league. Chelsea as a team have also improved defensively. Chelsea have the 4th best Minutes/xGC since the World Cup break.

Southampton have their own problems and are struggling with just 1 win & 9 losses from the last 10 games. Southampton are ranked 17th for Big chances(9), 19th for Goals scored(5) in the league since the World Cup break which suggests that there is a Kepa clean sheet up for grabs!

FPL GW24 Scout Picks Defenders

Luke Shaw vs Leicester(H)

Luke Shaw is the first pick among defenders in Scout Picks. In fact, he is the highest scoring defender in FPL with 54 points from 9 games since the World Cup break courtesy 1 goal, 2 assists and 4 clean sheets. Luke Shaw does Blank in GW25 and many managers are planning to sell him already. But in current form, it might be a good move to hold him for one more week.

Leicester also concede a lot of chances on their right flank(where Shaw operates). They are in fact Top for chances conceded down the right flank(13) since the World Cup break as seen below. There could be another Shaw haul in GW24.

Ben Mee vs Crystal Palace

Ben Mee and Brentford have been on a roll since the World Cup. In fact they are undefeated, have conceded the 2nd least goals(4), have the 2nd best xGC(7.67) during this period- Only behind Newcastle. Thier opponents, Crystal Palace have the worst Open Play xG(3.02) in the league since GW17. A clean sheet could well be on the cards but if you are lucky there could well be an attacking return from Ben Mee due to this exciting matchup.

Matchup alert-

Since the World Cup break, Crystal Palace are ranked Top for headed attempts conceded(17) and 2nd worst for Chances conceded from Set pieces(31) in the league. During the same period, Ben Mee is ranked 4th for Shots inside the box among defenders.

Estupinan vs Fulham(H)

Estupinan has 28 points from the last 4 games- Thanks to 3 assists and 2 clean sheets. 3 assists in 4 games is too good for a defender. Only Trippier has created more chances than Estupinan among defenders since GW20.

Note: If you are picking Estupinan and Mee in your teams, keep in mind that they both blank in GW25. They both again Double in GW27, mostly blank in GW28 and Double in GW29. FPL GW24 Scout Picks Midfielders

Rashford vs Leicester City(H)

No surprises, Rashford is the Top Pick among Midfielders for FPL GW24. Rashford is in “The form of his life” and is too difficult to ignore despite the blank in GW25. We should plan our squads in such a way that we can bench his for GW25 blank rather than transfer him out. Rashford has failed to score in only one game since GW17 and has 8 goals, 2 assists, 74 FPL points from 8 games during this period averaging more than 9 points per game.

He is also a Great Captaincy shout for GW24 courtesy Leicester’s poor defense. Leicester have not kept a clean sheet in their last 7 games conceding 13 goals which is the 2nd highest in the league. Saka vs Aston Villa(A)

Saka should be on the Top of the “Players to Target for GW24” and beyond. Saka has a Confirmed Double Gameweek in GW25 vs Leicester and Everton and also surely doesn’t blank in GW28 which will be one of the Biggest Blank Gameweeks this season. Saka has returned in 6 out of the last 8 matches and is in excellent form getting 4 goals, 2 assists during this time. He will be up against a Villa side in GW24 who are looking poor defensively conceding the Most big chances(26) in the league since GW17.

De Bruyne vs Forest(A)

De Bruyne rewarded his owners with a 15 point massive haul in Double Gameweek 23. He did look really good and looked like returning to his usual self.

Mitoma vs Fulham(H)

Mitoma completes the midfield who is in excellent form of his own. 7, 8, 6, 10, 11, 2- These are the FPL returns from the 5.3 Midfielder over the last 6 Gameweeks. Over the last 6 matches, Only Rashford and March have more FPL points than Mitoma in the league.

FPL GW24 Scout Picks Forwards

Toney vs Palace(H)

Toney has 6 goals, 1 assist from his last 8 games with an xGI of 6.17. Only Haaland has a Better xGI(6.97) among Forwards during this period. Toney got a goal against Arsenal and recorded an impressive 1.84 xGI which also includes striking the post once. His GW24 opponent, Palace are winless in their last 6 matches are struggling defensively. Since GW17, Palace have conceded the Most shots(120), Most shots inside the box(91), 4th Most big chances(21), Worst xGC(13.99) in the league. Another Toney Haul is cooking!

Kane vs West Ham(H)

Harry Kane is up against West Ham at home. With just 6 blanks from 23 games this season, he can be consistently relied upon to deliver the goods. West Ham have conceded 15 chances from the center since the World Cup break which is the 3rd highest among all teams during this period. This should work well for Kane against West Ham against whom he has a good record in Premier League historically- 11 goals, 4 assists from 19 games.

Haaland vs Forest(A)

Last not but not the least, it is the main man- Erling Haaland who takes up the arm band. 26 Premier League Goals with 15 games to go is just insane and needs no further explanation.
