Key points to note about upcoming Double and Blank Gameweeks

• FPL DGW23: FPL GW23 is a double gameweek for Man City and Arsenal
• FPL BGW/DGW25: FPL GW25 is a double and a blank gameweek with four teams(Newcastle, Man United, Brentford, Brighton) blanking and four teams(Liverpool, Arsenal, Everton, Wolves) doubling.
• Between FPL DGW25 and GW26, we’ll know the confirmed BGW28 fixtures and a clear picture of DGW29, BGW32, and subsequent doubles in GW34 and GW37.
• FPL DGW26/27: There could be a potential double for Brighton in one of the two gameweeks.
• FPL BGW28: Blank gameweek due to FA Cup 6th round(Quarterfinals) with currently only 4 confirmed fixtures with one or two more likely to be added. Final confirmed games will be known before the GW26 deadline after the FA Cup round 5 doubles.
• FPL DGW29: This should be the biggest double gameweek of the season with up to 16 teams potentially doubling. Clarity on the doubles will be known based on the FA Cup results. All teams in Europe will most likely double in GW29 making it an attractive double. Potentially six additional fixtures.
• FPL BGW32: Blank gameweek due to FA Cup semi-finals with currently only three confirmed fixtures, there is potentially a lot of popular teams from an FPL pov blanking in GW32. Could be an ideal FH gameweek.

• Manchester City– Haaland, Ake, Akanji, Lewis, Mahrez, De Bruyne, Grealish
• Arsenal– Nketiah, Odegaard, Martinelli, Saka, Ramsdale, Saliba, Gabriel, White, Zincehenko
• Everton – Tarkowski, DCL
• Chelsea– Kepa, Benoît Badiashile
• Aston Villa– Watkins, Buendia, Mings, Bailey
• Wolves– Kilman, Dawson, Sa, Matheus Cunha
• Spurs– Kane, Kulusevski, Perisic
• Newcastle United– Trippier, Botman, Burn, Almiron
• Brighton– Mitoma, March, Mac Allister, Estupinan, Ferguson
• Leeds United– Rodrigo, Gnonto, Greenwood(bench)
• Fulham– Mitrovic, Pereira

FPL GW23 Wildcard Drafts

FPL GW23 Wildcard Draft 1

• Safe draft with some of the current template options with an eye on the blanks and doubles in GW25.

• Dawson and Tarkowski both offer great value at their price and have a double in GW25 with Everton also surely having a game in BGW28
• Triple Arsenal attack with Odegaard, Saka, and Nketiah who are all on good form going into the double. Jesus might still be a bit away meaning Nketiah should continue as the striker till the double at least. Arsenal double in GW23, 25 and have a game in GW25
• Kane and Haaland along with Nketiah dominate the xG since the restart and should be the best-attacking trio

• Rashford and Trippier blank in GW25 but are in great form so it’s hard to look past them, best would be to have them in your team and then bench them in GW25(See GW25 team projection below)
• Roll the transfer in GW24, going into GW25 with two transfers, and then evaluate which Liverpool attacker to buy and the best route for the same.
• The reason for Bailey and Mings is that they have a game in GW25, GW28, and GW32 plus could double in GW29. Similar reasoning behind why Kepa is a good option in the long term.

How the above draft will look like in GW25 without transfers:

The only issue is currently there are no Liverpool assets, but given their price(High) and their poor form it’s still worth to wait and watch over the next two games(they play Newcastle away in GW24) and then target them directly for the double in GW25.

FPL GW23 Wildcard Draft 2

• Draft with Salah, KDB, and Haaland plus triple Arsenal attack.
• Cunha is now the first-choice forward for Wolves and offers good value at his price.
• Risk is going for Salah who costs a whopping £12.7 million with Liverpool and Salah in poor form.
