After a two-week break, FPL is back again with another double game week. In between times, a lot has happened in the transfer market as the Premier League clubs combined spent over 800 million euros, a record number! As far as FPL is concerned, besides new signings, managers have had to process upcoming blank gameweeks, double gameweeks and potential blanks and doubles. Keeping these things in mind, in this blog, we provide you with our Top 5 FPL GW22 Differential Picks with <10% ownership with stats, justification, and detailed analysis.

FPL Gameweek 22 Differential Picks(<10% TSB)
Eddie Nketiah vs Everton(A), £6.7, TSB: 6.6%
Until GW21, most FPL managers felt that Nketiah was just a stopgap until Jesus returns back from injury. As a result, most of us never considered him an option. However, following his brace against Manchester United, a lot of us have had a change of heart.
His 13-point haul last time out, combined with the fact that he has 4 goals in 5 starts since the restart shows a credible improvement. Above all, he plays for the best team in the country, at this point in time. Furthermore, given the lack of options up front in FPL, Nketiah at the price point of £6.7 is a no-brainer.
Since the World, only Erling Haaland has a better xG than Arsenal’s striker. In fact, he has had more big chances(7) than all other Arsenal players(6) combined in this period.
By now we all know the fact that Arsenal don’t have any blank gameweeks coming up. Therefore, it is imperative to have 3 players from their team.
Furthermore, the Gunners have a double gameweek coming up next week, with both fixtures being played at home. This is very significant as Nketiah has 13 goals in his last 12 starts at the Emirates stadium!

Bruno Fernandes vs Crystal Palace(H), Leeds(H), £9.9, TSB: 9.8%
Manchester United have the best possible double we could have this season, for any team. Crystal have the worst NPxGA in the league GW17. Meanwhile, Leeds have the second-worst NPxGA in the league season. Therefore, it is imperative to have at least two Manchester United attackers.
Bruno Fernandes is the most transferred in player this game week. Nearly 600000 have got him into their teams. That is quite understandable considering the fact that he has registered an attacking return in all but one of the games post-World Cup. He has 2 goals and 3 assists in the 6 matches since GW17.
Bruno Fernandes scored in the reverse fixture against Crystal Palace. As far as Leeds are concerned, the Portuguese international has 6 goals and 2 assists in 4 games against them. Against no other team does he boast a better record. Erik Ten hag’s men play Leeds in back-to-back games post the Palace game. Therefore, now is the best time to bring in Bruno.
Overall in the league this season, only KDB(20) & Trippier(16) have created more big chances than the Manchester United man(14) this campaign. Given the fact he plays against two teams that concede a lot of chances, Bruno has the potential to get attacking returns this week.

Casemiro vs Crystal Palace(H), Leeds(H), £4.9, TSB: 3.1%
Casemiro becomes the second Manchester United asset in our differentials list. We are not putting him only because he scored a brace against Reading in the FA Cup last time out. The Brazilian has already registered 2 goals and 3 assists in the league, despite only 12 games.
Casemiro began to start games in the league from GW10. The above graphic shows stats of Manchester United players post that period. It is quite extraordinary, really, that Casemiro has similar attacking numbers to that of Bruno Fernandes. In fact, only Rashford and Martial have had more big chances than the Brazilian.
What is really striking about Casemiro is his bonus points tally. He has registered at least 2 bonus points in 4 of the 5 games in which he has had an attacking return. Furthermore, he has 24 points in the last 3 home games, picking up 2 bonus in each of those games.
The Brazilian is a cheap route into the Manchester United assets. Stats suggest that the risk is low and the reward is quite high!

Nathan Ake vs Spurs(A), £5.0, TSB: 2.7%
One of the biggest shocks in the history of the Premier League is Joao Cancelo leaving Man City. The Portuguese international has joined Bayern Munich on loan for the rest of this season. This means that Cancelo has gone from a must have FPL asset to no longer in FPL in space of a month.
The beneficiary of Cancelo’s departure is Nathan Ake. The Dutch international has largely been playing at lb since the restart at the expense of Cancelo. He also came up with the winning goal from open play the FA Cup against Arsenal.
Given the fact that Ake has started contributing from open play bodes well for FPL managers. The Dutchman has scored at least 2 goals in 5 of the last 6 campaigns, almost all of them from set plays. Adding goals from open play makes him an even better asset.
Ake has started in all but one of the games post-World Cup. He came on at half time in the other game. Given the fact that City have a double gameweek coming up next week, combined with the no blank in GW25, it is ideal to have a defender from Pep’s team. Ake, in our opinion, is the safest bet, given Stones’ injury-prone nature(Currently injured).

Wilfried Gnonto vs Nottingham Forest(A), Manchester United(A), £5.0, TSB: 1.0%
Gnonto is the only Leeds player in our differentials list this week. Leeds are a side that attack a lot and their games have the potential to be high scoring as we saw in games prior to the World Cup, and indeed against both West Ham and Aston Villa too post the restart. Gnonto has registered 1 goal and an assist so far in the league.
Post the World Cup, no Leeds player has had more big chances than Gnonto. Furthermore, as we can see from the above graphic, only Rodrigo has had more shots in the box(He’s now out injured for two months). However, their xPts are more or less similar, with Gnonto being far more cheaper and also in a better position, as he is a forward.
Meanwhile, one of Leeds’ opponents- Manchester United have conceded 25% of chances down the left flank, the fourth worst tally in the league. As we can see from the above graphic, that is where Gnonto.
Note to readers: No ultra differential pick this week as none of the options excited us and we didn’t want to put someone whom we did not have confidence in the first place. Hence there are only five differentials in this weeks blog instead of six differentials!
