Why Limitless Chip is a good option for UCL Fantasy Matchday 2?
1. Well Rested Premier League players
Premier League fixtures for GW7 has been postponed after the demise of Queen Elizabeth II as a mark of respect. This means that they have more rest time for the Matchday 2 UCL fixtures compared to their opponents. Below is the Rest Time for PL teams compared to their opponents ahead of Matchday 2.
- Manchester City(192 hours vs 100 hours) Borussia Dortmund
- Tottenham Hotspur(141 hours vs 71 hours) Sporting CP
- Chelsea(194 hours vs 100 hours) RB Salzburg
- Liverpool(144 hours vs 74.25 hours) AFC Ajax
Manchester City, Spurs, Chelsea, and Liverpool have 92, 70, 94, and 70 hours of rest more than their opponents which is a huge advantage in Professional Football.
Players to Target from these fixtures– Haaland, De Bruyne, Cancelo, Kane, Kulusevski, Perisic, James, Sterling, Diaz, Salah
2. Attack the Fixtures
Apart from the four fixtures mentioned above, there are some nice fixtures to target for points ahead of Matchday 2. By using the Limitless chip, you can attack these fixtures.
Other Fixtures/Players to Target for UCL Fantasy MD2
M.Haifa vs PSG
PSG are up against Israel side Maccabi Haifa FC who have qualified for Champions League for the first time in 12 years. They also lost 2-0 to Benfica in Matchday 1. PSG have scored 24 goals from 6 games in League this season and a Triple up is essential in Limitless ahead of Matchday 2. Mbappe(2 goals vs Juventus in MD1), Neymar, Messi, Hakimi(Assist in MD1), Nuno Mendes are all good options.
Real Madrid vs Leipzig
Real Madrid should guarantee 3 points themselves vs Leipzig side who have just 2 wins from 6 games in Bundesliga this season. Leipzig defense is not in form as they had 9 goals from 6 games in the league and also conceded 4 goals vs Shakthar in Matchday 1. Madrid, on the other hand, have won 4/4 games in league scoring 11 goals in the process.Vinicius Junior, Carvajal, Rudiger are all top picks.
Leverkusen vs Atletico Madrid
Leverkusen are having a terrible start in Bundesliga with 4 points from 6 games and are in the relegation zone at the moment. They have found goals hard to come by and on the other hand, Atletico are traditionally known for their strong defense over the years. With Oblak fully fit and back in goal, there is a high chance of a clean sheet for Atletico Madrid. Oblak, Reinildo, Gimenez are all good options from the back.
Rangers vs Napoli
This is a fixture with 2 sides in very contrasting forms at the moment. Napoli are on Top of Serie A(as on Saturday) and are on the back of an emphatic 4-1 win over Liverpool in Matchday 1. On the other hand, Rangers are on the back of two drubbing 4-0 losses- Against Celtic in the league and Ajax in the Champions League).
Meret is a good GK option for Matchday 2. Kvaratskhelia is an exciting 21-year-old who has 4 goals, 2 assists from 6 games this season. Zielinski(on penalties) got 2 goals, 1 assist, 18 points in Matchday 1 vs Liverpool and is another standout pick for Matchday 2.
3. Good Chip Strategy option
- With unlimited transfers before Round of 16, It is always a good option in UCL Fantasy to use Limitless and Wildcard between Matchday 2- Matchday 6.
- With Matchday 3 and Matchday 4 fixtures remaining the same(reversed), Wildcard is a good option for Matchday 3. The squad picked can cover for Matchday 4 and beyond also.
- This leaves you with the option of playing Limitless in Matchday 2 or MD5 or MD6. MD6 is where most big teams rotate when they have nothing to play for. MD5 is also a good option for Limitless, but MD2 edges out personally due to the rest time for Premier League stars and some nice fixtures to target as mentioned above.
UCL Fantasy- Best Matchday 2 Limitless Drafts
Matchday 2 Limitless Draft 1
- Premium Front three of Mbappe-Haaland-Lewandowski making full use of Limitless chip. All three are in tremendous form and should be fire for your team
- Vinicius Junior has 3 goals, 1 assist from 4 games this season and is also classified as a midfielder, which makes him a must own.
- Salah and Mane are up against slightly tough opponents, but they are quality players who are worth gambling up on. Mane is also a good captaincy shout for the first day.
- De Bruyne and Sterling with loads of rest complete the midfield.
- Defense is covered with 5 attacking full backs- Perisic, James, Hakimi, Mendes, Cancelo who all are capable of returns in both sides of the pitch.
- Lloris is your Day1 Keeper. If he fails to keep a clean sheet, you can switch to Courtois for Day 2.
- Mane/Lewandoski as Day 1 Captaincy options. If they fail, you can easily cover up with Mbappe/Haaland on Day 2.
Matchday 2 Limitless Draft 2
- Slightly Differential Draft which includes Napoli midfielders- Zielinski and Kvaratskhelia. Kvaratskhelia is an exciting 21-year-old who has 4 goals, and 2 assists from 6 games this season. Zielinski(on penalties) got 2 goals, 1 assist, and 18 points in Matchday 1 vs Liverpool
- Dumfries plays a right-wing back for Inter and also has an early kick-off on Tuesday which means we can check the lineups before locking him. He has got a goal, and assist in the league this season and always had huge attacking potential as seen in the below heatmap.
- Oblak(Day 1) and Donmarumma(Day 2)are the Goalkeeper options.
Other players to consider(not mentioned in drafts)– Meret, Tavares, Theo Hernandez, Davies, Cuadrado, Sane, Diaz, Foden, Kulusevski, Kane, Martinez, Leao, Neymar.
