FPL GW35 is certainly not a bad gameweek to Free hit if you have two free hits left as you cannot play the two free hits back to back in GW36 and GW37. Let’s look at some potential drafts to consider, the drafts will give you a birds-eye view, eventually helping you to arrive at your perfect Free Hit draft.

FPL GW35 Free Hit Drafts

Fixtures to target if you’re free hitting in GW35: Newcastle vs Liverpool, Arsenal vs West Ham, Aston Villa vs Norwich, Spurs vs Leicester, and Leeds vs Man City.

  • Liverpool and Man City are playing to win the league and will go all guns blazing.
  • Arsenal will play West Ham who’ll have no senior CB available and the game is between their two Europa League semi-finals
  • Similarly, Spurs play Leicester who play their Conference league semifinals against Roma on either side of their GW35 fixture with Spurs.
  • Aston Villa are a good team at Villa Park and Norwich are a very poor away side.

FPL GW35 Free Hit Draft One:

1 Million left at 103.3 Million squad value

Pros of the above draft:

  • The above draft is big at the back with five fullbacks who all have a good chance of attacking and defensive returns.
  • Salah and Saka are automatic picks having been in good form recently. Saka is also on penalties when Laca is not on the pitch which is likely to be the case in GW36
  • Son and Kulusevski are the two options from Spurs, even though they are not in good form I expect them to come good.
  • Watkins upfront against Norwich at home makes an interesting pick.
  • Cancelo is suspended for the UCL first leg against Real Madrid so he’s a nailed starter.

The draft had one million left with my team value of 103.3 Million, so it gives you enough in the bank to rotate.

Cons of the above draft:

  • No City attack but although you can bring one in based on their UCL lineup by replacing one of Son/Kulusevski
  • No Kane in the draft is a slight concern considering his record against Leicester, 13 PL games vs Leicester and Kane has 16 goals and 3 assists against them.

FPL GW35 Free Hit Draft Two:

FPL GW35 Free Hit Draft Two:
O.1 Million left at 103.3 Million squad value

The draft that i like the most as it has both Coutinho and Kane over the last six games Norwich have conceded the most chances through their Right flank that’s were Countinho is played which gives an exciting matchup.

Norwich chances conceded through the right flank ahead of FPL GW33
Stats from FFScout

The above draft is majorly the same as the previous one with Son out for Coutinho and Watkins out for Kane and the pros/cons for the draft are majorly the same.

Few Other players to consider on FPL GW35 Free Hit

Mount/Havertz/Werner based on their involvement in their game vs Man United midweek, Jota, One of City attackers, Jacob Ramsey as an enabler, Diogo Jota, Ronaldo vs Brentford at home, Weghorst vs Watford in a crucial relegation battle fixture.

We’ll keep the drafts updated after the European games and the Man United vs Leicester fixtures are over. Do bookmark the post to return to it easily!
