Players to Buy ahead of Gameweek 30
Ivan Toney (6.6m)
The first player to make it to the Players to Buy list this week is, the Brentford forward, Ivan Toney. He has entered the thoughts of many FPL Managers yet again after his two spectacular performances against Norwich and Burnley, scoring a hattrick and a brace against them, respectively. He has been putting up amazing stats to back his performance up, indicating towards more FPL points from him in the future weeks. Moreover, his underlying stats have improved exponentially over the last four weeks as compared to the earlier weeks:
GW 23 – GW26 | GW 27 – GW30 | |
xG/90 | 0.4 | 1.41 |
NPxG/90 | 0.25 | 0.94 |
xA/90 | 0.17 | 0.35 |
Big Chances / 90 | 0.00 | 2.16 |
Shots | 3 | 6 |
Shots on Target | 1 | 5 |
From the table above, the increase in the sheer number of chances and quality of chances he is getting is evident. He also has lucrative fixtures to have an incentive enough to buy him ahead of the Blank Gameweek 30, and keeping him until the end of the season.

Harvey Barnes (6.5m)
The next player to make it to the Players to Buy list this week is Leicester City’s midfielder, Harvey Barnes. Although, he has had an under whelming season so far, the turn in his fixtures as well as his underlying numbers, suggest he could be a great differential to go for, at the ownership of just 3.7%.
GW 23 – GW26 | GW 27 – GW30 | |
xG/90 | 0.33 | 0.47 |
NPxG/90 | 0.33 | 0.47 |
xA/90 | 0.39 | 0.28 |
Big Chances | 1 | 1 |
Shots | 6 | 12 |
Shots on Target | 1 | 6 |
Moreover, Barnes, despite having a great fixture in GW30 against Brentford, he goes on an amazing run all the way till the end of the season, with two fixtures yet to be rescheduled. He has Brentford, Palace, Newcastle and Everton in the next five including a confirmed Double Gameweek in GW33. Keeping all of this in mind, he is certainly one of the players to bring in this Gameweek.

FPL Players to Hold ahead of Gameweek 30
Andrew Robertson (7.2m)
Along with many teams this week, Liverpool also do not have fixture this week. Although, managers often tend to hold the likes of Salah and Trent, they lean towards selling Robertson, thereby making him the first player to make it to the Players to Hold list this week. Andy Robertson has been a great third option from Liverpool to own as a differential. Over the last three weeks, he has scored 13, 6 and 18 points respectively, and is still owned by just 7.9% of the managers!
Over the last 6 weeks, he has an xG/90 of 0.04 and xA/90 of 0.23. Liverpool go on a magnificent run of fixtures(GW31 against Watford), in which no one would shy away from going for a triple up on their players, and after Trent and Salah, Robertson is arguably the best option to own.

Antonio Rudiger (6.1m)
The next player, after Robertson, to make it to the Players to hold list this week is Chelsea’s defender Antonio, Rudiger. Chelsea have been great defensively over the pas few weeks and has been a reliable defender. Even he has recorded good stats to make his case favourable for him. He has an xG/90 and xA/90 of 0.12 and 0.03.
Moreover, Chelsea have great fixtures, all the way till GW38. Although he is blanking this week, it’s not worth removing Rudiger, even for this week, and rather selling someone else. In this run they face, Brentford, Southampton and Leeds as their next three.

Players to Sell Ahead of GW30
Emmanuel Dennis (6.0m)
The first player under the Players to Sell list ahead of GW 30, is Watford’s striker, Emmanuel Dennis. The duo of these Watford strikers had a decent run earlier and were expected to score more points. However, they didn’t score as expected. Even his underlying numbers have dipped, as compared to what he was posting between GW23 and GW26. Also, Cucho has taken over as the goal scoring threat from Dennis for Watford with 3 goals, 1 assist from the last 3 games.
GW 23 – GW26 | GW 27 – GW30 | |
xG/90 | 0.34 | 0.2 |
NPxG/90 | 0.34 | 0.2 |
xA/90 | 0.08 | 0.08 |
Big Chances | 4 | 1 |
Shots | 10 | 7 |
Shots on Target | 2 | 2 |
It is also evident from the comparison table above, how his stats have dipped over the weeks. With Watford blanking in GW30, and Watford facing Liverpool, Man City and Chelsea till GW38, Emmanuel Dennis comes off as a sell for this week.

Lucas Digne (5.1m)
The next player under the Players to Sell list ahead of GW30 is Lucas Digne. The Villa full back scored only 6 points in the double Gameweek 28, while his counterpart, Matty Cash went berserk, scoring 29 points in the same week. Also, his underlying numbers, in GW27-30, as compared to GW23-26 have also dipped slightly.
GW 23 – GW26 | GW 27 – GW30 | |
xG/90 | 0.02 | 0.02 |
NPxG/90 | 0.02 | 0.02 |
xA/90 | 0.09 | 0.03 |
Big Chances | 0 | 0 |
Shots | 3 | 1 |
Shots on Target | 0 | 0 |
Aston Villa’s fixtures also take a turn for the worse, as they face Arsenal, Spurs and Liverpool in their next four, with Manchester City on their last day. Also, the possibility of him being injured and out for Blank Gameweek 30, makes the case for replacing him this week only. Keeping all of this in mind, Lucas Digne is a sell for me, as there are a lot of better alternatives, like Arsenal defenders available in the Market.
