Planned FPL transfers between FPL GW12 to FPL GW17

Raphinha to Gallagher in FPL GW16

The Leeds United attacker is a key asset to the club and also FPL managers. Raphinha has been a game week savior for many FPL managers. From GW16, Leeds United faces the toughest of the lot and four of the big six in the Premier League back to back, starting with Chelsea followed by Manchester City, Arsenal, and Liverpool.

Raphinha has scored 5 goals so far but has no assists till GW12. However, the attacker has 21 key passes to his name this season. He also exceeds the xG90 of 0.23 scoring 0.54 Goals-per 90 minutes.

Raphinha even though having a great season, has been carrying a lot has been on his shoulders as Patrick Bamford is out injured with no expected return date, expecting decent returns from him is too much to ask for.

The perfect replacement for Raphinha is Gallagher. Crystal Palace ace midfielder is a constant starter and has given massive returns to his owners. The most important reason for the switch is the fixtures coming up for Palace from GW16. Gallagher also accumulated 62 points this season so far whereas Raphinha has 50.

The fixtures begin with Everton at Home followed by Southampton, Watford, Spurs, and Norwich. Palace had defeated Spurs 3-0 in the first leg of the season at home. He matches the xG90 of 0.44 to Goals/90 0.41 and has provided crucial assists. Along with goals, he matches xA90 of 0.24 to Assists/90 of 0.20. Gallagher has been also a part of The Eagles attacking buildup. The man has 18 key passes to his name with xGChain90 of 0.84. As Gallagher puts in great performances. the price is surely gonna rise by GW16.

Kane/Vardy to Ronaldo prospects in FPL GW16:

Harry Kane

Spurs are having a tough season. We all know about Kane’s transfer saga and declining performance this season. Now that Antonio Conte in charge should we still have on our team? Kane has just 2.30 Shots/90 minutes this season which is a massive blow to the Spurs team.

The above heat map truly reflects Kane’s involvement. Note that Kane had no shots on target in the last 2 games. Harry Kane is a fantastic player. Spurs have a good run of Premier League fixtures from GW13 to GW22.

Kane is a buy-in FPL GW15 if the performance improves in earlier GWs, not only goals and assists but chances, key passes are metrics to look for Harry Kane.

Cristiano Ronaldo

Manchester United are through their rough patch but not the way they would have liked. United faced yet another defeat at home in the derby registering only 4 touches in the box for the entire team.

Ronaldo has been Ole’s player in scoring goals for his team. He has scored crucial goals in PL and also in the Champions League for Manchester United. Ronaldo thrives to score. He has 3.5 shots per game and 1.4 shots on target per game. Bruno is behind him creating big chances, Ronaldo is a definite player to watch. After playing Arsenal at home in GW14, Manchester United face Crystal Palace, Norwich, Brentford away. Followed by Brighton, Newcastle, Burnley, Aston Villa, and Wolves. They face West Ham in GW23.

Ronaldo is a great long-term option if Kane doesn’t start firing.

Jamie Vardy

Jamie Vardy is the FPL manager’s priceless gem. Scoring 7 crucial goals so far this season with an xG of 4.47, Vardy has proved his worth and how valuable he is.

The striker has been lethal inside the box for Leicester with 2.3 shots per game and 1.1 shots on target per game. He also has 1.05 Key passes/90 minutes. He exceeds his xG90 of 0.42 to Goals/90 of 0.67.

Jamie Vardy is a good buy for in the upcoming fixtures from GW13 to GW 18. The club have some winnable fixtures till GW18 before they face City and Liverpool back-to-back with solid defenses in GW19 and GW20. Jamie has not been up to the mark the last couple of game weeks but that is not an excuse to not have him on the team.

Mbeumo to Smith Rowe in FPL GW17

Brentford’s Mbeumo has been a good pick within budget midfielders. Many FPL managers have him on board. Brentford have been exceptional against teams like Liverpool, Chelsea, and Arsenal but have recently suffered defensively due to the absence of their regular keeper Raya. The club faces comparatively easy fixtures till GW16 except for struggling Spurs who can be difficult to score against as a defensive approach to the game by their new manager Antonio Conte. Three out of the next six fixtures after GW16 are against the two Manchester giants and Liverpool.

However, Arsenal get over with their difficult run of fixtures till GW15 as they face out of form Everton, Leeds, Norwich, Wolves. Smith Rowe has been highly involved in Arsenal’s attack as the club picked up from three consecutive defeats at the beginning of the season and now are in exceptional form.

Smith has already provided 17 key passes, 2 assists, and 4 goals so far. He exceeds his xG of 1.75 with 4 goals, constantly finds himself in the final third, and constant threat in the box.

Smith Rowe and Bukayo Saka constantly compliment each other. Saka has looked threatening in the wings. He has taken the creative responsibility at Arsenal. ESR being a good goal threat, Saka coping over 18 key passes.

Jimenez to Antonio in FPL GW16

Wolves had a couple of good games in the beginning and high hopes from Jimenez as their main forward. He was on penalties as well but Hwang Hee-Chan leads the goals/shots in the PL this season so far and a joint first with 1 Goals/Shot on Target with Chalobah and Wissa. Jimenez has not been up to mark and his returns are not likely from GW16 as the Wolves play four of the big six till GW21.

The above data shows Wolves are close to the shots per goal trendline, but West Ham are much higher in shots as well as scoring goals. Michail Antonio being Hammer’s number one forward has not been involved in 4 and 3 goal wins in GW11 and GW12 but from GW16 onwards the club faces winnable fixtures. The club being in massive form after handing Liverpool their first defeat, Hammer’s are no joke for the top four spot or the league as well. As it stands West Ham players are to keep an eye on and no one better than Jamaican forward Antonio.

West Ham leads the Goals to xG ratio as shown above. Michail Antonio has scored six goals, provided four assists, and accumulated 12 bonus points for his owners.

Here, we can see Antonio is a better pick keeping in mind the fixtures ahead also seeing his team and himself in such a good form.
