FPL GW7 Review

Another low scoring gameweek for most meant not too many points to talk about. Mo Salah’s 13 points were very impressive as the Egyptian reminded all FPL managers to never take the captaincy off him. The only other players to return for my side were Sanchez and White who both took part in a 0-0 draw. A low 42 points meant a disappointing score but with not too much damage done to my rank.

FPL GW8 Plan

After using two transfers in GW7, I now only have the one transfer. There are many issues I want to resolve with that transfer. These are mainly in defence, I want Trent back, I also want a Man City defender. However, instead of taking hits to get these players now, I plan to leave it one more week as my team is looking in decent shape. Then, with 2 free transfers next gameweek I can shift my team around to get the players I want. This also gives me another week of information after the international break as there are always injuries we aren’t aware of until after the gameweek.

FPL GW8 Team Reveal

If I do choose to roll the transfer which is looking likely then my team will be as follows. Sanchez in goal against Norwich. Double Chelsea defence against Brentford with Rudiger and Christensen. Semedo away at Villa and White who faces Palace at the Emirates. In midfield I have Jota and Salah away at Watford and Gray who has West Ham at home. In attack I have Lukaku against Brentford, Ronaldo against Leicester, and Antonio against Everton.

FPL GW8 Tips

Many FPL managers are wildcarding this week, if you are one of those managers, talk a while to have a think about the long term, not just the short term. Build a team that you are happy with for both this coming gameweek but also the future gameweeks. If you are not wildcarding, don’t panic, trust that your current team will score well, make wise transfer decisions, and don’t take too many hits. I’m sure everyone will do well, good luck this week!
