FPL GW9 Review

An awful gameweek for me. Going for the differential captaincy of Havertz has burnt my rank. I feel incredibly unlucky to have not had a few goal contributions from the Chelsea striker in a 7-0 win but that is the way it goes sometimes. Livramento, Gray, Salah and Antonio returned but Vardy, Ronaldo, Cancelo, Semedo, Olise and captain Havertz all blanked. It could’ve been so different, but we move onwards.

FPL GW10 Plan

After a bad week it is normal to make rash, impulsive decisions but I am not doing that. I want to ensure I still plan my transfers properly. Looking at my team, I will be waiting on the injury news about Vardy. If he is missing a few games, then Vardy will be my transfer out this week. I will most likely downgrade to a mid-priced forward to ensure I have the money to get Trent back into my team. That could be a double move this week for a minus 4, but that is something I will have to think about.

FPL GW10 Team Reveal

My team for this week as it stands is Sanchez in goal against Liverpool. Livramento, Cancelo, Christensen and Semedo facing Watford, Palace, Newcastle, and Everton. In midfield I have Salah (captain) against Brighton, Gray against Wolves and Havertz against Newcastle. In attack it is Ronaldo against Spurs, Antonio against Villa and currently Vardy against Arsenal. But as mentioned previously, most likely will change to a cheaper forward and Trent may come in for Semedo.

FPL GW10 Tips

Last week has shown FPL managers just how vital it is to hold your transfers until the end of the week. Thousands of managers would’ve already bought Lukaku in before the Norwich fixture, only for him to get injured playing in the Champions League. This week there are Carabao Cup fixtures midweek so potential for more injuries. So, my tip for this and every week is to hold your transfers until after any midweek fixtures! Good luck this weekend all!
