GW1 Review:

GW1 was the highest-scoring GW1 I’ve ever had personally. 95 points which I’ve very happy with. Congratulations to all those who got into the 100’s to start the season. Mostly happy with my team performance. Bruno + Salah 🔥 look fantastic. Ings + Antonio scoring are good signs early on. Need to watch carefully with my defence. They are pivotal for me playing a 442, I need those clean sheets.

FPL Gameweek 1 team review ~ Ryan, FPL Comeback

Players to monitor for me:

Barnes + Targett- they could be out of my team soon if they don’t do much in GW2.

FPL GW2 Transfer plan/ watch list going forwards:

No transfers were planned for me in GW2. My squad doesn’t have any injuries and looks nicely set up. I’ll be watching to see how Benrahma and Son play in their respective games, they’re the next two transfers I’d ideally like to get in GW3.

FPL GW2 tips 👀

I’d say roll your transfers unless your team needs urgent attention. Keep the transfers at least until we’ve had all the press conferences and make your own choice. We have a tough captaincy choice this week, ignore people’s polls, etc, just take in the stats you see and how Salah and Bruno looked last weekend and make your own decision.

FPL GW2 Team:

FPL Gameweek 2 team reveal ~ Ryan, FPL Comeback

Unchanged starting XI for me. I like the fixtures for all my team Antonio vs Leicester means Amartey will stay benched after their clean sheet last week. West Ham look too good not to score against them.

United looked really good against Leeds, so I’m going with Bruno captain this Gameweek 😍. It’s going to be tough watching Salah up first against a weary-looking Burnley, but Bruno seems to love an away game, and 2⚽️ and 3🅰️ in 3 games against Southampton is good looking. I don’t play the captaincy game all on previous games vs opponents but it certainly does factor into my thinking. It may not work out but I’m ok with that as I’m happy beforehand I’ve chosen the best captaincy option.

FPL GW1 Review

FPL Gameweek 1 team review ~ Shiva FPL

If someone had told me I’d get 90 points in first GW, I would have been pretty happy but 90 was definitely a below-par score in GW1. Having said that an OR of  1.1m is something I can live with after GW1. It was all about salah and Bruno and in the end, it came down to which 2 of Greenwood, Jota, Barnes, Raphinha, Ings you owned. It looks like moving from Gundo+Ings to Mahrez+ Toney cost me 5 points but GW2 can hopefully help me close that gap.    Very disappointing that Barnes and Mahrez failed who were the only differentials I went with in GW1.

GW2 Transfer plan and watchlist

As per my original plan, I think I am going to save a transfer and use 2 FT or possibly a mini wildcard (3 transfers for -4) in GW2. That gives me 2 GW to make a decision on Mahrez and possibly use the funds in upgrading to Son.    There is an outside chance that I can get rid of Barnes this week for Benrahma. That frees up some money and possibly opens a GW4 move for the likes of Kane/Lukaku/Sacho.

Few tips for GW2 and how to climb up in ranks.

If you can save a transfer this GW to get 2 FT next week, it might be the best strategy considering the likes of Lukau/Kane/Sancho can come in our thoughts. However, if you want to chase early value or have an injury in your team, you can certainly target players like Benrahma and Ayling who have got some nice fixtures coming up to replace the doubtful Gundogan and already ruled out Veltman. Saint-Maximin(6.5), Richarlison(7.5), and Lucas(6.5) are some cheap attacking options who looked well and got some nice fixtures ahead.

FPL Gameweek 2 Team Reveal and Captain Pick

FPL Gameweek 2 team reveal ~ Shiva FPL

Going with Salah captain and the reason is the home factor now that crowd is back. Not only do I expect Liverpool to do well in front of an Anfield crowd, I expect Saints to be up for the game as well and can see United not scoring too many goals.

FPL GW1 Review:

Unfortunately didn’t ride the 100 club bus, however, it’s still a decent start with 97 points. The Superstars were FernanHATRICK, Salah with his 3 attacking returns as well as the Atomic bonding of Benrahma and Antonio

Could have been better if I followed the Odds which tip the balance for Tsimikas over Toney.

Overall Rank: 567K

FPL Gameweek 2 Transfer plan and Watchlist:

I’m planning on making No transfers ahead of GW2. Just to save my free transfer as I am looking at Son in GW3.

My Personal watchlist for players I don’t own are Ismaila Sarr, DCL, Greenwood, and Son. I Will add Benrahma to this list for those who still not owning the Algerian.

Ahead of FPL Gameweek 2, i have few tips:

  • If you don’t have major issues, injuries then rolling the FT is the correct decision
  • Don’t let the surrounding High Scores change your plan. Stick with it and you will be rewarded on the long term
  • Put all your concentration in the Captaincy choice. Its the most vital factor of the game

Preview of FPL Gameweek 2 team and plan:

This is my Bus team so far and probably I am rolling the transfer this week. With the Armband is obviously the dilemma this week between Salah, Fernandes, and even Mahrez, however, I am relying upon Anfield and the Kop Roar. Just one late decision to be made on whether to play Barnes or Digne.

GW1 Review

FPL Gameweek 1 team review ~ FPL Eze

I’m very happy with my GW1 score, getting over 100 points in a single gameweek in FPL doesn’t happen every week. It’s a rare occurrence to get over 100 points so when it happens you should be pleased. Of course, I’m frustrated by leaving Benrahma on the bench, but you can’t have the perfect team every week so nothing to be too frustrated about. Salah, Bruno, and Antonio did the business for me and I’m excited to see how GW2 goes.

FPL Gameweek 2 Plan

At the beginning of every season I try to plan my team for more than just GW1, I look to have a solid team for at least 4-7 weeks. Therefore, when GW2 comes around every year I look to roll a transfer. This ensures that I will have two transfers to rectify any squad issues or injuries in GW3 or beyond. This year will be no different, I will be rolling a transfer and sticking with the squad that performed so well in GW1. It is very tempting to play Pep roulette as City face Norwich, but I don’t want to use a transfer on a player who isn’t guaranteed to start.

FPL Gameweek 2 Team Reveal

Just the one change for my team this week. Cash drops to the bench after Villa’s defensive shocker last weekend and Benrahma comes in after his brilliant performance. Captaincy remains with Mo Salah, with fans back at Anfield I’m expecting a big performance from the Liverpool star man. Bruno is worthy of a mention away at Saints, but I will be sticking with Mo Salah.

FPL GW2 Tips

My tips for this week are to keep things the same. Transfers are precious early on in the season and unless you really need to use one, don’t. Don’t go chasing differentials, stick to what has worked. Good luck and enjoy the football!

GW1 Review

FPL Gameweek 1 team review ~ FPL Singhs

Securing the 100+ points made the gameweek one of the best, if not the best starts I have ever had to a season. The likes of Bruno Fernandes and Mohammed Salah who are considered ‘premiums’ returned with substantial scores which meant most managers did have a high scoring gameweek, hence, the 69 point average.

Gameweek 2 Transfer Plans and Watchlist

Given the team that I currently possess has no glaring injury concerns or players who need to be transferred out urgently, my plan is to roll the transfer and go into Gameweek 3 with 2 Free Transfers which will give me more room to maneuver.

Prior to his contract signature, Harvey Barnes was the only player in my team that was potentially on the chopping block. However, having reflected on my initial decision to bring him in, accompanied by him signing a new deal, I will be keeping him for the medium to long term instead of moving to assets like Benrahma or Jota.

Tips for FPL GW2 to climb up ranks

If you did get around the 100 points mark last Gameweek, that is an indication that you probably have most of the players in my team and the best strategy in my opinion would be to save a transfer and reassess next week when there could be more incoming transfers (e.g. Lingard to West Ham) which could impact your decisions on players that you may not have expected to transfer out as of now.

On the contrary, if you feel that you haven’t fully performed to your potential last week and need to make changes, I would advise you to look to make a transfer in the attacking positions rather than in defence.

The consequences of the International Break for some players’ nations are still up in the air, thus, having a long-term plan by not making rash decisions in the short-term will give you more room to cope if there is major news regarding the availability of some key assets.

Potential FPL GW2 Team + Captaincy

FPL Gameweek 2 team reveal ~ FPL Singhs

This is how I’ll be lining up for Gameweek 2. The same exact starting 11 as I had in Gameweek 1 as I’m rolling the transfer.

This week’s dilemma has been regarding Captaincy where it is a 50/50 call if I put the armband on either Salah or Bruno Fernandes. It is currently on Salah but if we get news closer to the deadline on either team that is vital, it could easily switch the other way.
