As we enter the Euro fantasy quarter finals stages, we are all trying to go off a template with our teams. Whether you have a Wildcard or not, I recommend these differentials to rise you up the ranks and challenge your friends in the Mini Leagues. I have tried to pick one differential from each team left in the competition, allowing you to target any side you wish!
Euro Fantasy Quarter Finals Differential picks
Thomas Vermaelen (ITA), £5.2, TSB: 1%
Not many fancied the Belgian to play, but having started the last 2 games I see him keeping his place. Vermaelen has 2 Clean Sheets & 1 Assist, an impressive total for a Defender. The Centre Back has great presence from set pieces, always attacking the ball with real venom and aiming towards the oppo’s goal. Hence I can see him returning from a corner.
He faces an Italian side who have had a great tournament so far, but I would say their only weakness is aerial presence going forward. I would think 3 Big Centre Backs could stifle the Italian front line, causing them to shoot from range. For these reasons, I can see a Clean Sheet might be coming.

Federico Chiesa (BEL), £7.0, TSB: 7%
Despite only starting in MD3 with a heavily rotated side, I can see Chiesa regaining his place. After coming off the bench, his well taken goal inspired the Italians to victory. Chiesa was always picking up great positions in and around the 6 yard box, making runs to the back post for crosses. His 3 Shots & 1 Chance Created highlight this, with Chiesa having the desired effect.
In his way is a strong Belgium side, who’s weakness is the flanks; Meunier loves to bomb forward, leaving the right-hand side open to attacks. This is where Chiesa can shine, with his explosiveness allowing him to get in behind with ease. It will be a tough test but I see Chiesa returning well here.

Haris Seferović (ESP), £8.7, TSB: 3%
With Switzerland being written off before the tournament started, not many would expect to see a Sommer save to knock France out on pens! But here we are, with Seferović being a key player in the side; 3 Goals, 6 Key Passes & 6 Chances Created this tournament. He occupies the Forward role well, holding the ball up then spreading to the wing, before making a run into the box to get on the end of a cross.
He does come up against a strong Spain Defence, with the Croatia game being an anomaly having only conceded 1 goal before that. This tells me they are susceptible to good-quality sides, so I can see Seferović causing the Spanish problems, possibly turning up with a goal.

César Azpilicueta (SUI), £5.1, TSB: 5%
No-one expected the veteran to feature this tournament, but with 2 starts in a row he seems set to stay. He is off the back of a goal against Croatia, which was a great attacking run to the back post. This shows how good Azpi’s anticipation is, as well as his attacking intent in the Spanish line up.
Spain are against a Swiss side who have been poor this tournament, conceding 8 Goals already. Azpi will fancy himself to get forward and make a difference. They have been good going forwards, but with the Spanish always playing a very strict, defensive style of football, I don’t see them scoring so a double digit haul could be on for the Spaniard.

Oleksandr Zinchenko (ENG), £5.5, TSB: 6%
Backed by many in MD2, I am once again bringing Zinchenko to the table. His Goal & Assist as a Defender is fantastic, with his position classification meaning he gets more points for attacking returns. Having played Left Mid, Zinchenko is always involved in attack by providing quality chances and occupying the space well.
His opponents are England who are yet to concede a goal so will be formidable, but if they play a 5 back I can see the Ukrainian cutting into the space left by Wing Backs bombing forward. A good punt but probably not the best this week.

Kieran Trippier (UKR), £5.1, TSB: 3%
Having seemingly secured an in demand RB spot for England, Trippier becomes a great option. With a 5 back, Trippier loves to get forwards and join in with the attack; 2 Chances Created and 31 accurate passes against Germany. He is also a threat from set pieces, and I wouldn’t be surprised if he returned from one.
In his way is an out of sorts Ukraine side, who have conceded 6 goals so far, only scoring 6 as well! I don’t see them scoring against an England defense who are yet to concede, and with a defensive weakness, I can see the Full Back hauling.

Kasper Dolberg (CZE), £7.0, TSB: 2%
Coming in for the injured Poulsen, Dolberg filled his boots perfectly; 2 Goals, 4 Shots, with an xG of 1.08! He made that forward position his own, winning 8 duels (2 aerial) showing his passion for the game. The Danes are clearly inspired after the horrific incident in MD1 so will do whatever they can to get through.
The Danes are up against a mixed Czech side who have done superbly well to get this far. And having only conceded 2 goals so far, it seems to be a tough match for Denmark. But having conceded 49 shots so far, Dolberg will be afforded chances. And with a very powerful strike on him, I can definitely see a long-range strike incoming.

Vladimír Coufal (DEN), £5.3, TSB: 5%
The Right Back has played every minute so far, and has impressed me thus far; 2 Clean Sheets & 1 Assist in a very mixed Czech side. Coufal has also played 4 Key Passes & Created 5 Chances, the most in the squad. We all know what Coufal offers from FPL, so this isn’t unexpected and I think this can continue.
He faces a Denmark side who have been very prolific recently, scoring 4 Goals in the previous 2 Games. And the Danes have only conceded 3 Goals this tournament, so Coufal will have his work cut out to return. I can still see him returning, but maybe not the best Country to go for this week.
