Best Possible Free Hit Draft, Combination & Team For FPL GW35

As FPL GW35 is another double game week, with eight teams which includes Everton, Manchester United, Leicester City, Chelsea, Aston Villa, Southampton and Crystal Palace confirmed to play twice. This means that it could be time to play your Free Hit chip if you still have it, to get a good team for the weekend. Therefore, I will in this article give my view on how an ideal Free Hit draft could look and what players to consider.

FPL GW35 Free Hit Team

FPL GW35 Goalkeeper

Vicente Guaita (£4.8m) Crystal Palace

Ownership: 3.1% (0.83% in top 10k )

Fixtures: SHU (A) SOU (A)

Palace face an already relegated Sheffield side in their first fixture who have only scored a league-low total of 18 goals this season and only 2 goals since GW 29. They are a side that have gone down and a team to target for points.

In the second game, palace face Southampton who will be without their talisman Danny Ings. Southampton have an xG of 6.93 in their last 4 games which is the 15th best in the whole league.

Also worth noting in the Reverse fixture Guaita had a 10 pointer against Southampton and 7 points against SHU this season.

Defenders for FPL GW35 Free Hit team

Luke Shaw (£5.4m) Man Utd

Ownership: 17.0% (42.92% in Top 10k)

Fixtures: AVL(A) LEI (H)

Luke Shaw since GW 24 has had the highest key passes from any defender (30). Shaw is also a bonus points magnet he has picked up 11 bonus points since that time and is the second-highest bonus points scoring defender. Shaw in his last 5 games has an xA of 0.50.

Shaw has been one of the best-attacking fullbacks this season and should definitely be on your radar for FH35.

Trent Alexander-Arnold (£7.6m) Liverpool

Ownership: 20.9% (60% in Top 10K)

Fixtures: SOU(H) (The WBA (A) fixture isnt confirmed at the time of writing )

Trent Alexander-Arnold is the creative force in that Liverpool time having attempted 30 crosses taken 12 corners 3 Freekicks made 11 key passes and also Created 3 Big chances since GW 30. He has also scored 1 Goal and Assisted 2 for his Teammates in that time.

In Addition to the Southampton fixture, it is predicted by @BenCrellin on Twitter that the WBA fixture is gonna fall in 35 which makes the double very good in FPL terms.

Timothy Castagne (£5.8m) Leicester City

Ownership: 7.2%(20.54% in Top 10k)

Fixtures: NEW (H) MUN(A)

Timothy Castagne in the last 5 weeks has taken 4 shots of which 3 shots have been in the box and 2 of them have been Big Chances and has scored 1 goal in that time. On the creative side of his game, he has attempted 19 crosses and made 7 key passes in the same time.

Castagne has started all 5 matches and played 90 in all of them so there should be no rotation worries.

Midfielders for FPL GW35 Free Hit team

Wilfried Zaha (£7.1m) Crystal Palace

Ownership: 9.3% (0.69% in top 10 k)

Fixtures: SHU (A) SOU (A)

Wilfred Zaha owned by only 0.69% in the Top 10k and is a uber differential to climb up your ranks he has the best double on paper facing the already Relegated Sheffield side and a Southampton Side who are going downhill since Christmas.

Despite Palace and their struggles this season in the last 5 weeks Zaha has had 4 shots 2 on target with an xG of 0.70 and also has a creative threat with an xA of 0.35. He is the Palace Talisman so the chances of him getting less than 90 minutes bar injuries are minimal and he has the security of minutes and can be a great differential on Free hit.

Gylfi Sigurdsson(£6.9m) Everton

Ownership: 2.9% (3.19% in Top 10k)

Fixtures: WHU(A) AVL(A)

In the last 5 weeks, Sigurdsson has been the second-highest scoring Everton player behind Coleman with 24 points and 2 goals to help the cause.

Sigurdsson has taken 13 shots 6 inside the box with an NpxG of 0.8 and also has an added bonus of Penalties. On the creative side of things he has had 60 final third passes, 13 attempted crosses 5 corners 5 Freekicks 4 Key passes, and 1 Big Chance Created with an xA of 0.84 and should be on your FPL GW35 free hit teams.

Mohamed Salah (£12.7m) Liverpool

Ownership: 35.1% (82.78% in top 10k)

Fixtures: SOU(H) (The WBA (A) fixture isn’t confirmed at the time of writing)

Mohamed Salah as mentioned with Trent Alexander-Arnold has a potential Double this week facing Southampton and West Brom. Salah in the last 5 weeks has attempted 17 shots 14 inside the box with an nPxG of 3.0 and has scored 3 goals in that time frame

Salah also has good assist potential with 6 key passes and 2 Big Chances Created for an xA of 1.57. If the WBA game falls into this week he is the best Captaincy option this week

Bruno Miguel Borges Fernandes (£11.5m) Man Utd

Ownership: 54.9% (75.91% in Top 10k)

Fixtures: AVL (A) LEI(H)

Despite having had many Blanks and owners getting impatient and selling him Bruno Fernandes is still posting one of the best Stats for a midfielder in the last 5 weeks. Bruno has had 14 shots 6 on target 6 inside the box with an xG of 1.64 but hasn’t scored a Goal which means he has been very Unlucky so far.

In the Creative part, it’s a similar story with 2 Big Chances Created 122 Final third passes 18 Crosses but only being able to register 1 Assist. Bruno is close to a must-have this week if you are Freehitting.

Kai Havertz (£8.2m) Chelsea

Ownership: 3.6% (0.33% in Top 10k)

Fixtures: MCI (A) ARS (H)

Havertz has been posting really good stats over the last 5 Gameweeks having had 8 shots 7 on Target with an xG of 2.88 and having Scored 3 goals. Out of his 8 Shots, 7 have come inside the box which means that he is getting into good positions before shooting and that is good from an FPL POV.

Even though that Arsenal Fixture looks Tough on paper Arsenal are fairly midtable in their defensive stats in the recent game weeks with an xGC of 6.78 Despite having faced teams like Newcastle Fulham and Sheffield. This shows that they are a defense that can be got at by a good quality attack.

Strikers for FPL GW35 Free Hit team

Kelechi Iheanacho (£6.3m) Leicester City

Ownership: 25.3% (95.0% in Top 10k)

Fixtures: NEW (H) MUN(A)

Kelechi Iheanacho has really come on to the scene since GW 28 with 7 Goals and 2 assists he should be one of the First names on your teamsheet with these numbers. His Underlying stats are also very impressive with 25 shots 13 On target with a very impressive NpxG of 4.6 since GW28

In his recent games, he has added the assist threat to his locker too with 11 key passes, 5 Big Chances Created, and an xA of 3.02. If you don’t have him you need to get him quick.

Harry Kane (£11.9m) Tottenham Hotspurs

Ownership: 47.2% (92.75% in Top 10k)

Fixture: LEE (A)

The only player in this Free hit team that won’t have a double Gameweek is Harry Kane. The reason Being this Season Kane has scored 21 Goals Assisted 13 other goals and is having one of the best seasons of his career. Kane in the last 5 Games alone has taken 25 shots of which 16 are inside the box and has an xG of 4.08. Kane also has the added motivation to win the Golden Boot this season and will be trying his best to help the cause this week vs Leeds.
