Best Free Hit Team for GW37+
FPL GW37+ Free Hit Team: Goalkeepers
Nick Pope (5.1) vs Norwich(A)
Norwich have been very poor since the restart, with an xG of 0.06 against Chelsea, they rarely had a sight at goal. Pope has been nothing short of brilliant over the past weeks, he has racked up saves which inevitably makes him a bonus magnet.
Button like always will be our bench fodder keeper for this week.
FPL GW37+ Free Hit Team: Defenders
Kieran Tierney (5.3) vs Aston Villa (A)
Villa have been struggling to ship in goals which has hampered their chances of staying up in the premier league. Although arsenal have been defensively poor since the restart, Tierney looks lively and an assist seems imminent. At a mere price of (5.3), he offers a route to Arsenal’s defense with an ownership of 0.7% and could be a very good option for GW37+
Matt Doherty (6.5) vs Crystal Palace (H)
Only owned by 12.8% managers, Doherty is a huge differential. Ever since Boly returned, wolves have been defensively solid in recent weeks. Nuno prefers a 3 man defense, which gives Doherty freedom to deliver his crosses and play an attacking role to overlap the runs of the wingers. Crystal Palace have been inconsistent since the restart and have conceded 15 goals during the period, only Norwich have a worse record since the restart. Wolves need to win 2/2 to stay in contention of a European spot and we expect Doherty to sep up against Wolves.
James Tarkowski (5.4) vs Norwich (A)
Norwich have been really poor having been already relegated from PL, the canaries have conceded the most number of goals since the season restart and have conceded 16 goals from set-pieces so far this season. Tarkowski posses incredible threat from set-pieces who has 2 goals and 3 assists already this season with 136 points making him the seventh-best scoring defender
Bench Fodders : Diego Rico (4.2) , Lewis Dunk(4.8)
FPL GW37+ Free Hit Team: Midfielders
Mohammed Salah (12.5) vs Chelsea (H)
With 19 goals and 9 assists, Salah surely has an eye for the golden boot. He has an xG of 3.8 since the restart and enough of rest, while Chelsea will look tired after their FA cup semifinal fixture at the weekend. Salah Could be a huge differential captain if you are looking to boost up your ranks in your mini-leagues. Chelsea have been defensively poor and salah will look to punish them.
Anthony Martial (8.4) vs West ham (H)
There isn’t a better love story at the moment than Martial and Old Trafford. With scores of 21, 14, 13 in the last three-gameweeks, he has been lethal at home. Facing a West ham side who have conceded a total of 59 goals this season, martial will look to exploit it. Only owned by 20.8% of FPL managers, he will be definitely among the goals.
Bruno Fernandes (9.0) vs West ham (H)
Having accumulated over 105 points in a span of 12 game weeks, He is averaging over 8.75 points per game. West ham will be looking defend deep and this gives him more time on the ball which enables him to a crack at Fabianski from long distance. With an EO of over 100% in Top 10k, he is a must-have in your free hit team.
Riyad Mahrez (8.6) vs Watford (A)
After being rested against Bournemouth, we expect Mahrez to start against a weak Watford defense who are yet to keep a clean sheet since the restart. Mahrez has been on song since restart with 3 goals and 3 assists. Sterling (11.8) is a great option too if you cash in the bank. In the last season, he scored a hat-trick against Watford and could be a good TC option.
Bench Fodder: Leandro Trossard (5.8)
FPL GW37+ Free Hit Team: Forwards
Danny Ings (7.6) vs Bournemouth(A)
Ings has been taking much better shots than last season and finishing them at an extraordinary rate. Although his xG has been very low, his clinical finishing has enabled him to be running for the golden boot. Bournemouth have been second-worst side after Norwich for goals conceded and big chances conceded. Expect ings to shine against Bournemouth who have no other chance of survival other than to attack against Southampton leaving ings plenty of opportunities to close the gap on Vardy for the golden boot.
Marcus Rashford (8.9) vs West ham (H)
With 3 goals and 3 assists since the return, Rashford has shown flashes of brilliance at home. West ham have been poor away from home and Rashford could find his rhythm back on the final home game and look to be in form in an all-important encounter against Leicester to have chances of UCL next season.
Jay Rodriguez (5.7) vs Norwich (A)
4 attacking returns in 5 games with an ownership of 0.5 %, he could be a huge differential. Norwich have conceded an average of 8 shots in the box and 4 big chances per game against opposition strikers. Vardy to Jay will be a popular move on the cards. Look out for him managers. Sean Dyche has confirmed Jay to be fit to play and he could be an even bigger differential option compared to fellow striker Chris Wood.
