FPL GW 23 Tips:
Cheap assets are one of the key weapons to have for FPL managers in order to have a successful season. Two new names have emerged out in recent weeks. Both Brandon Williams and Japhet Tanganga cost just 4.0 mil and are both certain starters for two supposedly ‘Big 6’ clubs.
The Former played a key role in Manchester United’s drubbing of Norwich. Oh and he also missed an open goal, that actually can be looked at positively for us managers as he does get himself in goal scoring positions.
The Latter is arguably Spurs’ best defender right now based on current form. To say that he had Mane in his pockets last week wouldn’t flatter anyone. Dare I say, Jose may have just found another ‘JT’ to build a team around.
FPL GW 23 Gut Feeling Picks:
1.Raheem Sterling vs Crystal Palace(H), TSB:21.6%, Price:11.8
Sterling got himself a much needed break, after he sat out last weekend’s game at Villa Park. The Englishman is still City’s top scorer in all comps this season with 20 goals. The ManCity winger has 5 goals in his 6 league games against the Eagles. The champions (oh and yes they’re still champions) have been is blistering form in the last month or so and Crystal Palace with all their injury problems may well turn out to be a nice meal to feast on.
2.Miguel Almiron vs Chelsea(H), TSB: 0.8%, Price:5.8
A player who just couldn’t get himself on the scoresheet until a month back, now he can’t stop scoring goals. Miguel Almiron has been in excellent form ever since breaking his duck against Crystal Palace on Matchday 18. The Paraguayan goes in to the weekend with 3 goals in his last 3 games to his name. The Blues have conceded 19 goals in 11 league games away from home this season. Frank Lampard’s men have just kept one clean sheet on the road this term, which gives Newcastle assets a chance to definitely get attacking returns.
3.Alireza Jahanbaksh vs Aston Villa(H), TSB:0.2%, Price:5.8
Brighton’s record signing got his first goal for the club in Gameweek 20 against Bournemouth. He followed that up with another goal against Chelsea the following week. That means, Jahanbaksh has scored each of his last two home games. Given the fact that only Norwich(45) have conceded more goals than Aston Villa(43), the Brighton midfielder has a very good chance of extending his scoring tally.
