As you have to consider quite a few factors including availability, travel during international duty, return date and of course injuries before deciding the best captain bet for the upcoming game week. We have tried to give you managers the best possible options for captaincy.

AllaboutFPL captain choices ahead of GW13:

Jamie Vardy vs Brighton(A), 9.6 MIL,TSB: 35.8%

FPL Game Week 13 captain pick- Vardy
Rested loaded and ready to fire?

Our first Captain pick for GW13 isn’t a big surprise, Jamie Vardy has been banging in goals every passing week and he looks like he’s not going to stop scoring anytime soon. Having retired from international football, the Leicester frontman comes into the Brighton game fully recharged.

Vardy has scored 8 goals and assisted a further four goals in the last six-game week having failed to score on only one occasion, against runaway league leaders Liverpool at Anfield. With Brighton’s captain, Lewis dunk suspended for the game Vardy becomes a pretty obvious choice for captaincy.

Trent Alexander Arnold vs Crystal Palace(A), 7.2 MIL, TSB:29.6%
Crossing is way into BPS

Although Liverpool haven’t been able to replicate their defensive form from last season. Trent Alexander Arnold has been a revelation going forward this season having created a whopping 42 chances with 9 of those big chances. TAA has been unlucky on missing out on attacking returns on numerous occasions. With crystal palace posting the lowest xG at home in PL this season and Patrick van Anholt vulnerable in letting crosses down the flank, we feel TAA is on for a big haul against Palace.

3. Richarlison vs Norwich City(H), 7.9 MIL, TSB:7.4%

Norwich defense ain’t ready?

With a home fixture against struggling Norwich city Richarlison surely is a differential captain choice for GW13. The toffee’s forward has scored 3 goals and provided 3 assists making him the player with most goal contributions for Everton this season.

The Everton forward is up against a Norwich side who have conceded the second most number of shots on goal(206) and goals(29) this season and with just 1 clean sheet in their last 12 games, it’ll be a huge task to contain the best player for Everton this season.

4. Raheem Sterling vs Chelsea (H), 12 MIL, TSB:35.3%
Sterling GW13 captain picks
Sterling back scoring?

The manchester city attacker has gone silent after an electrifying start to the season. Lots of FPL managers have lost faith in sterling, with the city attacker being the third most transferred out player ahead of GW13. Sterling has 12 shots inside the box in the last four games which is the third highest in Premier League and looks certain to convert the shots into goals in the coming weeks. Also, the last time City faced Chelsea at home in PL Sterling scored a brace as Man city demolished Chelsea 6-0.

5. Harry Kane vs West ham united (A), 10.8 MIL, TSB: 15.2%
Kane captain
Hurricane coming?

Harry Kane has had a very underwhelming premier league season so far with just 4 goals in 12 games. Kane although looked in good touch on international duty scoring a first-half hattrick against Montenegro and followed it with a goal against Kosovo. With new manager Jose Mourinho lavishing praise on his new frontman as one amongst the Best Number 9, We expect Kane to be back amongst goals against West ham united.
