There were plenty of captain picks for GW31+ and most of them returned. Again there are a variety of options to choose from GW32+. AllABOUTFPL FPL GW32+ Captain Poll:
Safest pick- Raul Jimenez vs Aston Villa, Price: 8.3, TSB: 35.7%
Liverpool travelling to Etihad this week means Jimenez is the safest option to captain in GW32+ ahead of the likes of Salah, Mane and De Bruyne. Jimenez is already the third most transferred in player for FPL GW32+ due to his red hot form scoring 17 points from his last two games, 4 goals in last 5 games. Wolves would love to continue their 7-game unbeaten streak against the defensively poor Villa to bloster their European ambitions.
Jimenez- Key numbers:
- Villa have gone seven games without a win and have conceded the most goals in the league(59). They also have the worst xGA(63.51) in the league.
- 104 shots and 82 shots in the box- Both league highest.
- Goal and 9 points against Villa in the reverse fixture in GW12.

Aubameyang vs Norwich, Price: 11.0, TSB: 24.9%
Aubameyang and Arsenal have not had the best of starts to the season restart. He has blanked in all the three games since the restart and would love to end it with a bang against the struggling Norwich. Playing against Norwich, who has conceded the second highest goals this season(56) should help Aubameyang. GW32 should be the make or break week for Aubameyang owners who had him since the restart.
Aubameyang in numbers:
- Nine goals against bottom six– Highest in the league.
- 13 points and two goals against Norwich in the reverse fixture in GW14.
Differential Captain Picks for FPL GW32+:
Richarlison(8.3) is a very good punt to captain for GW32+ facing a rusty Leicester side. He has the highest xA(2.28) from the last 5 games. His xG(2.47) from last five games also holds good. Richarlison also managed to find the back of the net in the reverse fixture(8 points) against Leicester in GW14.

Son(9.8) got an assist, had a goal ruled out against West Ham in GW31+. It is true that Jose’s tactics does not help in attacking returns. But Son still has the quality to bury the few good chances he gets. Son also scored a goal and fetched 8 points in the reverse fixture against Sheffield in GW12.
Author’s Captain Pick for FPL GW32+:
Marcus Rashford vs Brighton, Price: 9.0, TSB: 19.7%
It looked like Manchester United have fielded their best ever attacking line-up against Sheffield in GW31+. The man who caught the headlines was Martial(8.1) who scored a hat-trick. But Rashford was also in the thick of things with two big chances and two assists. He would look to add to his 14 goals and 7 assists against a hopeless Brighton(1 win in last 11 games). Bruno Fernandes(8.7) who was a huge captaincy disappointment in GW31 is also a good option to consider if you don’t have Rashford and have him. He has returned in 5 off the last seven games and Brighton would be no exception.
Rashford- Key stats:
- Rashford has the highest xG(16.19) in the league this season ahead of the likes of Salah, Aguero, Jimenez, Vardy, etc.
- Most big chances(24) for United.
- United are second to only City in xG and Big chances created since the restart.
