The end is near! Almost a year after Liverpool beat Norwich 4-1 to give FPL managers a dream start back in GW1, the final game week of the 2019/20 season is upon us. For many engaged managers, this will be the week the Free Hit chip will finally be used, myself included. GW38+ Free Hit will be the main focus of this week’s column. Although, those who aren’t deploying the chip may still find it useful for some players to target.

Unbelievably we are now over halfway through the mini-season with five-game weeks down and four to go. In a sense not much has changed since I last wrote… Manchester United are still amazing, Pulisic is still doing his best to be Eden Hazard and Kane is still frustrating the community. After more than one hundred days without FPL, the game returned with a bang, two-game weeks within eight days, and triple-digit scores aplenty in the FPL community. Attentions now turn to FPL GW32+ and the challenges that the return of FA Cup brings. Eight teams will play their quarter-final have the FPL deadline giving fantasy managers a nervous weekend.
