Top FPL GW14 Differential Picks(<10% TSB)
Jarrod Bowen – West Ham – £7.4 Midfielder – 5.9 % TSB
- West Ham finally have a favorable run with games against Leicester, Wolves, and Southampton in the next 5 Games. Bowen could be a perfect like-for-like replacement for the out-of-form Mbeumo.
- Leicester have conceded the most Shots in the Box in the League, the 3rd most xGC, and the 2nd most Big Chances so far. They shipped 4 Goals at Brentford and look lost defensively.
- Bowen has had 3 Goals and 4 Assists so far with decent numbers for both Goal Threat & Creativity. 18 Shots in the Box, 12 Shots on Target and 4 Big Chances with 5 Big Chances created for his teammates and also playing 27 Key passes.
West Ham’s next 5 Opponents and Their xGC Rank in the League:
Gameweek & Fixture | Expected Goals Conceded Rank |
GW14 vs Leicester(A) | 18th |
GW15 vs Wolves(H) | 17th |

Eberechi Eze – Palace – £6.6 Midfielder – 7.7 % TSB
- Eze is back from injury right before the 6-pointer against Ipswich. Eze played 60+ minutes to get his fitness back on track and will now be looking to get some attacking returns against a ropey Ipswich defence. Ipswich have conceded the most Big Chances in the League (51) and over half of these are from the center of the pitch, where Eze will likely operate, behind the striker. Ipswich have also conceded the most xGC in the League (27.09) so far.
- Eze has been massively unlucky so far with only 1 goal from almost 3 xG. Eze has had 15 Shots in the Box, 12 Shots on Target, and 5 Big Chances. He has also created 3 Big Chances and played 19 key passes for his teammates. On Free kicks and corners and possibly on penalties, Eze could finally explode against Ipswich, like Bruno did against Leicester.

Georginio Rutter – Brighton – £5.6 Midfielder – 1.9 % TSB
- Since establishing himself in the starting 11 since Gameweek 4, Rutter has scored the most points for Brighton with 47 points. Rutter’s all-round potential with both Goals and Assists makes him a great pick. Rutter has been presented with 5 Big Chances and has created 3 Big Chances for his teammates.
- He has played 9 Key passes and has had 24 Shots in the box and 6 Shots on Target which places him in the Top 2 among his team-mates. Rutter faces defensively weak teams like Leicester, Palace, West Ham & Brentford in 4 of the next 5 Gameweeks which makes him an enticing short-term option.
Top Midfielders(£6.0 and below) for Goal Involvements since GW4:
- Georginio Rutter– 6
- Kluivert- 6
- Rogers- 5
- McNeil- 5
- Iwobi- 5
- Damsgaard- 5
- Amad- 5

Noni Madueke – Chelsea – £6.4 Midfielder – 6.8 % TSB
- Any team with an attacking player playing against Southampton needs to be targeted. Last week we had success with the Mitoma pick in this article. This week we are going to go for Madueke, who should start against Southampton after getting a breather against Aston Villa.
- Madueke has had good stats this season with 15 Shots on Target, 27 Shots in the Box, and has been presented with 8 Big Chances. He has had 3.49 xG so far. He has played 13 Key passes and created 1 Big Chance.
- Southampton have conceded the most Shots, the 2nd most Shots in the box and Shots on Target, the 3rd most Big Chances and the 2nd most xGC. This is what you call a “Plum fixture” for your attackers.

Liam Delap – Ipswich – £5.6 Foward – 5.0 % TSB
- Ipswich have 3 more easier games after which their Fixtures turn sour. Delap being the main man of Ipswich this season would want to keep on scoring & earning valuable points for Ipswich and FPL points for your teams.
- Delap has been clinical so far this season with 6 Goals from 9 Big Chances, 11 Shots on Target and 15 Shots in the box.
- Palace concede more than half of their Big Chances from the center of the pitch and this is where Delap will operate as the main man up top.
Crystal Palace Defense Rank over the last 4 Gameweeks:
- xGC- 13th
- Big Chances Conceded- 14th
- Goals Concede- 14th

FPL GW14 Ultra Differential Pick (Under 1 % Ownership)
Joe Gomez – Liverpool – £4.8 Defender – 0.8 % TSB
Liverpool have brilliant defensive stats with the least amount of Shots on Target, xGC and Shots in the Box conceded. They are ranked 2nd best for overall shots conceded and 4th best for Big Chances conceded.
An injury to Konate(ruled out at least for 5-6 weeks) brings the Budget Defender from Liverpool into FPL consideration. Liverpool have some great fixtures after the Newcastle game and are keeping clean sheets for fun under Slot’s controlled approach. He may not have the best attacking threat but his budget price tag combined with the great run of fixtures makes him an excellent pick during the Festive period. Gomez should also be fairly nailed on with Slot not the biggest fan of Quansah.
That’s it for Gameweek 14. We will be back with 6 More Differentials next Gameweek where we will be hoping to get some positive returns from our current selected Differentials for Gameweek 14.
