Fanteam have introduced an unlimited EPL season fantasy game for the 24/25 season, there’s been a lot of interest amongst fantasy football managers who are excited to play this exciting version. In this article, we look at different GW1 drafts along with keynotes for the Fanteam unlimited season game.

FanTeam EPL Unlimited Season Game

Quick Overview of the game:

• Building a team is similar to FPL – You pick a squad of 15 players with a maximum of 3 players from one team and you’ll start 11 players in a gameweek.
• The captain and vice-captain also work the same way as FPL.
• The fanteam deadline is the kickoff of the first game in a particular gameweek.
• Each week you get one free transfer, just like FPL.
  • The only difference is the transfers are provisional and take effect only when the gameweek starts. You can revert your changes until each gameweeks deadline. (You can make early transfers without the worry of injury problems)
• You can carry over any number of free transfers and there is no maximum limit for saved free transfers.
• There are two wildcards to use, one each in the 1st (Before the deadline of GW19) & 2nd half of the season.

Draft 1 for Fanteam EPL Unlimited Season Game

The template draft

Captaincy: Haaland/Salah/Isak

What’s the point if you don’t utilize the unlimited budget rule?

This draft exactly does the same:

• Triple Spurs to attack the GW1 game vs Leicester on Monday night, Leicester have lost all of their last three friendlies & look poor defensively. Solanke is also expected to be in line to make his debut.
• Porro picked up two goals in pre-season and with Solanke in the middle, his assist potential improves.
• Trent Alexander Arnold made a return to Liverpool’s lineup and picked up an assist vs Sevilla, he has an insane haul potential vs Ipswich in GW1.
• You can bench Gvardiol & Palmer for Isak & Solanke potentially which leaves you a bench of Bruno, Gvardiol, Pickford & Palmer in GW1.
• The only problem with unlimited budget is that you need to prepare yourself for the many points that you’ll bench during the season.

• Saliba scored from a corner in Arsenal’s pre-season game with Arsenal once again showing their aerial dominance.
• Players like Saliba who generally play the full 90 in all games are rewarded in Fanteam with +1 pt for completing 90 minutes.

Draft 2 for Fanteam EPL Unlimited Season Game

The differential draft

Captaincy: Jota/Watkins

• If you’re making multiple entries(You can submit up to three teams in the unlimited season game), a differential team makes sense.
• Smith Rowe is a great differential he has scored in both pre-season games he has played for Fulham since joining them from Arsenal.
• Bobb is the find of pre-season and is a great differential to consider -> he has picked up ⚽⚽AAAA in pre-season for Man City.

• Jota seems to have nailed the forward spot for the beginning of the season and picked up a wonderful goal + Assist vs Sevilla. Luis Diaz scored two goals in the game as well & finds a spot in the draft.
• Joao Pedro made a return to Brighton’s team in their last friendly and scored a brilliant goal.

Note: Pick a few of these differentials from the above draft in your entry for the Fanteam unlimited season game. Going for the exact team might be too much.

Draft 3 for Fanteam EPL Unlimited Season Game

Team target GW1 fixtures

Captain: Salah/Son/Isak

• A team purely targeting the GW1 fixtures aiming for a headstart
• Triple Spurs with Porro, Solanke & Son to target the juicy fixture against Leicester City
• Kai Havertz is expected to start as the CF for Arsenal having played up top in their last friendly vs Lyon.
• You can potentially bench Gordon for Jota too in this draft.
• Wingbacks are crucial to Glasner’s style and in this draft, we have got both Munoz & Mitchell on the bench.
• Going for wingbacks/attack-minded defenders is a good strategy as a shot on goal by a defender gets you +0.6 pts
