Goalkeepers: 

There are only two days on MD5, so we’ve opted to back two goalkeepers with the highest clean sheet odds from both days. You can select Verbruggen as an alternative to Pickford if you wish.

Defenders:

As mentioned earlier in the article, in the knockout stage of these types of tournaments, it’s challenging to target clean sheets as the games are hard to call. Therefore, we’ve gone with the defenders with the highest clean sheet odds, but more importantly, the players who are most likely to get a lot of ball recoveries. 

Midfielders:

The Limitless midfield picks itself: Musiala, Bellingham, Fernandes, Williams, and Simons.

Another option if you don’t fancy Portugal, is to drop Bruno Fernandes and back another Spain midfielder such as Rodri/ Ruiz, or even another German midfielder such as Gundogan.

Forwards:

We’ve opted for Gakpo ahead of Ronaldo in this draft purely due to form and also Netherlands has the easiest fixture on paper against Turkey. Gakpo has been on fire in this tournament so far:
