After a season-setting Gameweek where Man City showed who is the boss, FPL managers have been given a food for thought. In a week where Official FPL have newly launched stats on their own website, managers have to come up with new ways of moving away from the template. Traditional heavyweights Liverpool and Man City are back in the scheme of things again. In this blog, we will provide you with our Top 6 FPL GW24 Differential Picks with <10% ownership with stats, justification, and detailed analysis.

Top FPL GW24 Differential Picks <=10% ownership
Joao Felix vs Southampton(H), £7.5m, 2%
Joao Felix opened his account for Chelsea last time out at the London stadium. The Portuguese international purred at the heart of the Blues’ attack as he came away with a 9-point haul. Felix registered an xGI of 0.96, more than any of his compatriots.
Chelsea are one of few teams who have a guaranteed fixture in both GWs 25 and 29. Besides, they have an amazing run of games coming up with 6 of their next 8 games coming against teams in the bottom half of the table. Five of the matchups have an FDR rating of 2.
Felix was the most threatening player in their Champions League tie against Borussia Dortmund. The Forward missed two big chances and also hit the crossbar in a game in which he could have easily had a hat trick.
Since Felix made his debut, he has had more shots in the box, more big chances, and better xG than any of his teammates barring Havertz. That is despite being suspended for 3 games.

Darwin Nunez vs Newcastle(A), £8.7m, 7%
Liverpool have turned a corner- is a phrase that we have heard multiple times this season. However, the Merseyside derby on Monday night felt different from the other instances where we thought Klopp’s men are back again.
Liverpool played their devastating counter-attacking football again. Mo Salah scored again. Cody Gakpo got off the mark. The Supposedly aging midfield has a teenage sensation breaking through- in Stefan Bajčetić. And lastly, Trent Alexander Arnold got an assist after a long time- or he didn’t according to FPL- we still can’t accept that!
Liverpool are going to be a popular feature in our teams again given the fact that they have not only have a fixture in GW25, but have a double GW. The fixtures on the other side of the double is also appealing for FPL managers.
It would be fair to say that Darwin Nunez has been an xG merchant this season. Despite playing significantly less minutes due to injury, Darwin is third best for big chances post restart, he also is third best for shots and fifth best for shots in the box in this period.
If indeed Liverpool have turned a corner, Darwin should be on top of our buy list, even ahead of Mo Salah. Meanwhile, Liverpool’s FPL GW24 opponents Newcastle have only won 1 out of their last 6 matches. With a massive Cup final due in a week, still in the absence of Bruno Guimarães, now might be the best time to play against Eddie Howe’s men!

James Tarkowski vs Leeds(H), £4.2m, 2%
Much like Chelsea and Liverpool, Everton, too, is a team FPL managers should keep an eye on. Since the arrival of Sean Dyche, the Toffees have looked more solid at the back. Although they lost the derby, prior to Liverpool taking the lead, Dyche’s men showed qualities that could make their defenders FPL assets.
After scoring the winning goal against Arsenal, Tarkowski nearly scored at Anfield too. In fact, Liverpool’s opener came seconds after the former Burnley man had hit the woodwork. Given the fact that historically Dyche’s teams make full use of set plays, Tarkowski could become a key asset in all our teams. Besides, Everton have a double game week, along with a guaranteed fixture in GW28.
Quite extraordinarily, through the course of the season, only Gray has had more shots in the box than Tarkowski. The defender is also third best for big chances among his teammates. Add to that, a new found confidence and solidity at the back, FPL managers could well benefit from big hauls from the Everton center-back.

James Maddison vs Manchester United(A), £8.0m, 4%
Leicester City play well when James Maddison is fit and firing. The Foxes lost the first 4 games post-restart. Games, which Maddison missed due to injury. He returned from the bench against Brighton, the Foxes secured their first point post World Cup.
He then went to start games in Gameweek 22 and 23. Rodgers’ men produced two stunning performances beating Aston Villa and Spurs by 4-2 and 4-1, respectively. The Englishman scored in both games and also got an assist in the process.
Meanwhile, Manchester United have conceded the third most number of shots in the box since GW17. Couple that with the fact that only Arsenal have scored more goals than Brendan Rodgers’ men on the road this season.
The Foxes are another team that play in GW25. Although the rest of their fixtures are a bit of a mixed bag, Maddison’s presence makes them a threat against any opposition. Only five teams have scored more goals than the Foxes so far in this campaign.
James Maddison- Key Stats
- Top for goals, assists, FPL points, and BPS among his teammates
- 4th best tally for goals among midfielders
- Has at least 1 attacking return in 5 of his last 6 starts

Rico Henry vs Crystal Palace(H), £4.5m, 1%
Brentford have been one of the standout teams this season. The Bees are unbeaten in their last 10 matches. In this period, Thomas Frank’s men have picked up points against the likes of Spurs, Liverpool, Man City, and Arsenal.
The West London side have also kept clean sheets in 4 of the last 6 matches. The upcoming fixtures have a sea of green in them including a double in Gameweek 27. As a result of which, it would be wise to start planning for bringing their players into our teams.
Rico Henry has created the third most number of big chances so far this season among Brentford players. He has also had 2 big chances, which is joint top among the defenders. The Englishman did score 3 goals last season. As a result of which, we know that he has a goal in him. Looking at the stats, it is clear that a big haul is around the corner!

Craig Dawson vs Bournemouth(H), £4.8m, TSB: 0.4%
Wolves are another team that has a double Gamweek coming up in GW25. Lopetegui’s men have won 3 of their last 4 matches, keeping clean sheets in two of those games. Craig Dawson came up with a 12-point haul in his last home game, against Liverpool. Coincidentally, Wolves will take on Liverpool again in the double next gameweek.
Since GW17, Wolves have the joint fifth-best defensive record in the league in terms of goals conceded(7). Given the fact that 4 of their upcoming 7 games have an FDR rating of 2, having a Wolves defender is a good idea.
Meanwhile, Bournemouth have failed to score in any of their 4 games on the road since the restart post-World Cup. In fact, on the whole this season, no team has created fewer big chances on the road than the Cherries. Therefore, the chances of Wolves shutting their opposition out is high.
The South- Coast side have conceded 13 goals from set pieces this season, that is indeed the worst record in the league. Dawson has scored 19 goals in the last 7 seasons. So we know the goal threat he has, coupling this with the apparent Achilles heel of the Cherries, Dawson may go on to get another haul this week!
