Liverpool travelling to Doha for the Club World Cup makes the headlines for FPL GW 18.The Liverpool Blank, The London Derby,Leicester travelling to Etihad gives a proper headache for FPL managers ahead of FPL GW 18. FPL managers have opted for different tactics and stratergies like Wildcard, Free Hit for GW 18. Too confused about your tactics for FPL Gameweek 18? In this blog we cover Liverpool Blank,Injuries and Suspension Watch,EFL Roundup,Differential Picks ,Captain Tips and much more!
FPL GW 18- The Liverpool Blank
Liverpool and West Ham don’t have a game on GW 18 due to Liverpool’s Club Worldcup commitments. The first Wilcard expires on December 28 deadline and this is the best time to use it if you have not used it yet. Almost all the FPL managers hold atleast one Liverpool player.
If you own both Mane and Salah,we suggest you to hold at least one of them in your bench as Liverpool vs West Ham match will most likely to be postponed to GW 24. The like-for-like replacements for the Liverpool midfield stars would be Tottenham trio of Son,Lucas and Alli. So, there will be a possibility of Double GW for Liverpool and West Ham on GW 24. We advice managers not to take frequent hits and use their bench for this week because it will re really difficult to bring back the Liverpool players again.

Transfer IN’s:
Most transferred out player for GW 17 is the most ‘Transferred IN’ player for FPL GW 18 – Kevin De Bruyne. KDB was back at his brutal best against Arsenal with 2 goals,1 assist and 3 bonus points. Son and KDB seem to be the most obvious replacements for Salah and Mane.
Top Transfers IN for FPL Gameweek 18:
- Kevin De Bruyne vs Leicester (H)- Most transferred out player last week( We suggested managers to hold on to him last week ,was also our differential captain pick and he rewarded us with 19 points)
- Marcus Rashford vs Watford(H)
- Jack Grealish vs Southampton(H)-On four yellow cards
- George Baldock vs Brighton(A)- On four yellow cards
- Son vs Chelsea(H)
Transfer OUT’s:
Chelsea have just managed to get 3 points from their last 5 games in Premier League. FPL managers have understandably lost patience in Chelsea players as Mount,Pulisic and Abraham have got the stick. The Liverpool blank in FPL GW 18 means the Mane is the most transferred out player for GW 18.
Top Transfers OUT for FPL GW 18:
- Sadio Mane
- Mason Mount
- Pulisic
- Nathan Ake
- Tammy Abraham

1. Aston Villa vs Liverpool:
Liverpool traveled to the Villa Park with a squad with an average age of just over 19 due to their Club World Cup commitments.
