Sleeper GW35 Draft Fantasy – Best Punts and Hidden Gems
Jamie Vardy
Jamie Vardy has announced that he will be leaving Leicester City at the end of the season. Even though Leicester are relegated, Vardy still has good fixtures to end the season on a high. Leicester play Southampton(H) and Ipswich(H) in GW35 and GW37– the other two fellow promoted sides who are already relegated. Southampton and Ipswich are ranked in Bottom 3 for all the defensive underlying numbers this season- xGC, Goals Conceded and Big chances conceded. Despite Leicester’s poor season, Vardy already has 7 goals, 4 assists this season.
Vardy is also currently on 142 Premier League goals and will need only two goals to move into 14th along with Robin Van Persie in the All Time Premier League Goal scorers list. He will look to make use of the remaining four Premier League games to breach this mark. He can be a good punt in GW35 Draft Fantasy and also going forward.
Ola Aina
Ola Aina returned from injury in GW34 in the 0-2 loss vs Brentford. Despite the loss vs Brentford, Forest do have everything to play for and are fighting for a place in Champions League next season. Despite the recent form, Forest have 13 clean sheets this season- Only Liverpool(14) have more clean sheets than them in the entire league this season.
Aina has decent attacking data this season- 2 goals, 1 assist, 13 chances created. With good fixtures in the next 4 games- Palace(A), Leicester(H), West Ham(A), Chelsea(H), Forest will be looking for 4/4 wins to push for a Champions league spot and Aina can be a good pick in the coming weeks.
Jake O’Brien
Jake O’Brien is next pick with Everton having Ipswich(H) and Southampton(H) fixtures in two of the next 3 matches. Tarkowski is injured and ruled out of the season. So O’Brien is nailed and will start the remaining four games. O’Brien also carries a good ariel threat and can score from a set-piece situation as he has managed 2 goals from 14 starts so far this season.
Everton have been an under-rated defensive team this season. They have conceded only 41 goals this season from 34 games with only Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea conceding less goals than them in the entire league. Everton are also ranked 4th best for xGC, 5th best for Clean Sheets this season.

- Liverpool- 32
- Chelsea- 40
- Everton– 41
Mikel Damsgaard
Mikel Damsgaard has been creative force for Brentford this season with 2 goals, 9 assists from 30 starts this season. Brentford are up against a Manchester United and Ipswich in the next 2 weeks who have been both poor defensively this season. Brentford are coming on the back off a 2-0 win over Forest in GW34 and could easily win 4/4 in the next 4 games considering the fixtures they have.
The underlying numbers for Damsgaard have been excellent this season- 57 Chances Created, 12 Big Chances Created, 32 Shots this season. Damsgaard nearly averages almost 2 chances crated per game and his 57 chances created rank in the Top 8 in the entire league this season.
If your Mbeumo’s and Wissa’s are all picked up in your Draft Fantasy leagues, Damsgaard should be your go-to punt this week.
Bilal El Khannouss
Bilal El Khannouss is the final pick in our GW35 Draft Fantasy Punts and Hidden gems. Leicester are on a dire run with no home goals scored since GW16 and that goes back to last year. But the best part about Draft Fantasy is that you can go for the one-week punts. With 2 good fixtures in GW35 and GW37 vs Southampton(H) and Ipswich(H), Leicester might as well break the duck in the coming weeks. Both these teams are ranked in Bottom 3 for Defensive underlying numbers.
El Khannouss has 2 goals, 2 assists this season and would love to add to it in these easy fixtures before this season ends.
